Did you have the tractor on TDC Since you TDC the injection pump. I heard it a pain. I have the same problem with my B7610. I have done my 4020 JD with roller master injector pump.
Thanks for showing how these are assembled!! I took mine apart and cleaned it but wasn’t sure how to time the gears. I’m still not 100% sure how to align the plungers ? Looks like they need to be aligned properly, what am I looking for to properly align ?
There's a timing mark between control sleeve and control rack and also in the plunger.if your plunger there is no timing mark, the cuts on the plunger must be place on your left side.
Great video. Is a Westerbeke pump the same as the Kubota you showed us? I think my plungers are gummy after sitting for over 6 years. I think I'll let an expert rebuild my Westerbeke pump. Just in case.
Very nice work. Im having trouble getting the injection pump out . The shaft in the middle is stuck in the fullest out position and making it impossible to pull the injection pump upwards. Any ideas how to solve this?

Hello friend, I have been watching your channel for some time and I can learn a lot from it. I have a Kubota B1400 tractor with a D850 engine and I have a question about how to set it up idle speed in this engine? The engine runs very slowly, and the revolutions fluctuate. When the engine is running, after opening the inspection cover in the pump casing, you can see that the spring and the rod that move the toothed rack, which is in the form of a cylinder, moves to the rhythm of the waving revolutions. When I move the rack with my finger and increase the revolutions, the engine works normally. when I let go, the revs drop and the engine cuts out. What is the cause of rpm fluctuating? the rack link should probably be stationary while the engine is running? On the opposite side of the pump's gear rack, there is a small cover screwed on with two screws, underneath which there are concealed locking pistons. There are three pivots, the central one which is stationary and two side ones which are mounted on the eccentric, can they be adjusted? what are these two side eccentric pins for? Do they regulate idle speed? I will be grateful for your response.

Maybe the injector is not working.just remove the pipe and delivery valve holder you can check the delivery valve if stuck.i would just reminded you when you remove the the delivery valve do not rotate the engine.thank you for the compliment and also for watching kindly share and like.ty.

Nice video thank yo so much, I have a question for you I found shims that goes under the rocker and have the inscription 375-370- and 365, do you thing where they goes respectively, I think 375 goes for piston 1, 370 goes for piston 3 and 365 for piston 2, regarding firing order on my tractor, the 375 is thicker than 370 its self thicker than 365, I think the thickness gives 1.2 degree between each injection time. thank you so much .best regard from Canada
I figured out that, the shims are for metering diesel fuel into the delivery valve, in order to pressurize the exact amount of fuel into the delivery valve, shims are not for timing. thanks have a good day.
Hi, thanks for detailed video. I had the rack stuck a fews years ago and had to do that. The gen was a few years working with no major issues until now that get high rev all the times and I had not find the way to restore normal RPMs for work. When I started it go to full acceleration and I had to cut the fuel for turn off. Could be the rack governor loose in any way and stuck in high RPM? Any advice? Thanks. Is a Cummins onan 7500 with kubota 3 cylinder engine

I tried to disassemble and clean my pump quite similar to yours. When I test it without the lines connected (only diesel in-line), it only delivers diesel in two of three lines. What can be wrong?

There is no trick to test it just installed on the engine to test.are you sure you will set up all the timing marks on the plunger?remove all delivery valve holder also the delivery valve and you can see the plungers
@@tractorsmarinemechanic yes i removed all delivery valves and all plungers and cleaned. All the timing marks on the push rod is in the right place. If I operate the plunger by hand I can feel a little resistance from the air pressure that disappears if I push the rod in the stop-position, so that should be OK I think. Is it possible to have an air lock in only one of the plungers?
I have a 2cyl pump Can't get one of the assemblies to align and place the screw to lock in place, if I do, I can't open and close it jams...and the spring and roller stay jammed seems like everything is align and proper position any idea what I'm doing wrong?

To re-assemble and to re align is very hard you need to be patient to align and place the screw tock in place.i know you can do it
