Hey Chris, condolences to your wife and you in your recent bereavements.
As far as “by-laws” I’ve reposted videos I already uploaded to UA-cam, and even gone through older videos that were never posted, for various reasons and edited them to put a Vlog together.
I guess it depends on the goal of the Vlogger as to what they want to achieve for their channel. As a viewer of many UA-cam channels, if a video loses my interest, I just stop watching. But, at the same time, I appreciate the effort made by Vloggers in editing and posting videos.
Happy belated birthday, young fellow 😁. I’ll welcome you to the 50 and over club, next year.
    Ride Safely my friend!

    Thanks for the ride Christopher
I think it’s ok for vloggers to use older content as long as they let you know when it was filmed.
I just want to see everyone’s experiences and the enjoyment they get from their rides.
I like to see what tech they are using and how they maintain their bikes
When they filmed it isn’t my big concern
Have Moto will travel has a good channel going now. I’m looking forward to running into him in New Hampshire next season and hopefully getting a ride in with him.

Hey Chris...Sorry for your loss. Very trying especially around the holidays.
We don't think it matters when someone upload a video. They just need put the date on when the video was filmed, especially when there an equipment change IE Polaroid lol... As you said it takes time to edited videos... as you know we shoot travel videos, and we are still making videos from our Canada trip, which was taking in August. If we do regular vlogging where we just have a subject that we want to talk about, or Parking lot training, then yes ...we would put it up ASAP.
    Thanks for a good subject.

I’ve never thought of , or heard of any bylaws but you never know. It depends on how much you record, and your upload frequency. I tend to record a bit just based off thoughts coming to me, and areas I want to ride. My upload frequency is 2 times a week during the busy season (April to October) after that I slow down a bit to 1 a week. I actually will still be behind at that rate too. I couldn’t imagine uploading more due to time. Anyhow, yeah it depends on your motivation, and how much, and what you want to share.
Good Vlog, and condolences to you and your wife on her dad and step dad.

Hey Chris. Sorry for your loss. Great video topic. I don't mind when vloggers post old videos as long as they indicate the date that it was recorded. I think psychologically we assume that videos appear in chronological order so when they don't it can be a little confusing at first. I have "shot" multiple videos on the same day but I try to upload them relatively close to the time I record them. Keep giving us great content!!!! Thanks

Sorry for your families loss, never easy but especially near the holidays. I agree with you on Thanksgiving and other Holiday traditions and meals. We’re loosing so much when we loose our seniors. Happy Birthday and Have Moto Will Travel was close but you’re not old till 60-ish! He does great videos and he’s right on the content. Good job Chris on this video, enjoyed it and the content. Let me know when you hit 59 what you think about what turning 49 is really like😂 you’ll understand! Have a Merry Christmas!

    Hey Chris!!!
My sincere condolences to you and your family. Praying for comfort doing these hard times. My Sena went out on me when Chris Cliente came to DC to hang out in the rain. I think it shorted out, so I haven't been able to log. In the process of coming up with a new setup.

Glad I found your channel. I just started vlogging 6 months ago and ride a wing as well. I’m considering adding a 10c Evo to my current setup as well. Ride forever.

Thank you for watching and commenting! I have all off the 10c Series Camera's and I personally like my 10c PRO over the 10c EVO. BTW, you can get the PRO right now at Revzilla for $279 compared to the EVO at $399.

Christopher Smith I will certainly consider the additional savings to be had for similar features.

    Chris,
First thing is, I want to offer my condolences to you and your wife for your recent losses. Never easy to lose someone you love and admire, especially around the holidays.
Next, I was so happy to see this video show up today. I was jonesing for a CS motovlog. Great video, great topic as always.
I'm one of those vloggers who has stockpiled some videos in anticipation of the winter. While I'll be making other videos over the winter, I wrestled with the balance between flooding my channel with videos as they're done and being absolutely current, or having regularly sheduled releases even if they're from a few months ago. I've opted for regularity. It may be that next year I'll be able to release 3 a week intead of 2. But I'm new at this and just muddling my way through.
I think that much of it depends on the content. I've gone back and watched your past videos and also those of our friend Craig Hanesworth. While they were current when released, they're from a while ago. I still find the content interesting, informed, entertaining and timeless. So my opinion? Content is king. Releasing a review of a great restaurant that closed two years ago is foolish. Again, I think it depends on the subject.
Bylaws? Nah. The viewers will decide. We vloggers are also viewers and I think we get most of the guidance we need from each other's videos and feedback in the comments. You didn't like the re-releasing of videos, and won't watch and neither will others. That's kind of an imposed bylaw I guess.
Next, I'm blown away by the generosity of your shout out! Thank you! To quote the lovely Sharon "Chris is a nice guy." That's the second time she's said that. Must be true. 😊
Happy Birthday BTW. You're not old yet but I can tell that you're old school. That's a good thing in my book. Part of why I like youand your videos.
And why is it that those 70/80 year old grandmas haven't been replicated in the last couple of generations? Lots of the 70 year old grandmas I see nowadays, and the ones soon to be 70, are all trying to appear 40. Or is it just me?
Thanks again for the acknowledgement and a fantastic, thought provoking video. You've got a friend in NH.
