Thanks for the review. Wasn't considering PXG, but at the current price of $109 a club, I have to give them a try. A note for everyone worried about the loft, you can order them +2 in lofts, which is what I would do if I get them.
Very informative video. Just ordered the 2021 PXG 0211 irons 6-SW. I currently play to 2019 version of the O211 irons. The driver segment of this video convinced me to stay with my PXG 0811X gen 2. My fairways and hybrid are Callaway as my demo with the PXG was not enough to convince me to change those clubs.
It's easily a 6 iron with a 7 stamped on the bottom did you mention 28deg loft?. What is important is the decent angle above 45 deg so that's a positive... Be sure to buy a handful of wedges with this set! :)
@@tourqualitygolf Yes received at 11 AM was on the course by 1245. I really like them, the irons are straight as a laser. They feel really smooth and crisp.
Rather than changing the lofts, just re-frame how you look at the clubs. Think about the 7 iron as a 6 iron that’s really forgiving and has a higher launch angle. If you start messing with lofts you need to consider how that impacts lie angle and shaft length. Can lead you down a complicated rabbit hole.
Great vid!! Hard to find real stats on the 0211 driver. Debating on 0211 or 0811x because the prices are great. I generally hit the ball with a lower flight, after seeing this, may get the 0811. Thoughts?
I got the 0211 hybrids and 3 wood last week. Love everything about them with my game but the durability is not there, definitely recommend hitting a clean unscratched ball or the face will show it.
Great review. Did you test the longer irons? What were your thoughts on how forgiving they were? The lofts are very strong so the 5i actually has less loft than the 4 hybrid! Did you observe some overlap in distances between the two clubs?
Looking at these- I normally play 2* flat lie. Id like to weaken the loft on them 1*. would you recommend keeping the 2* flat with the 1* weaken or maybe go to a 1* flat?
Compared to the P790s what are the differences/similarities? Also why are the 0311Ps so much more than the 0211s your hitting here? Are they that much better? and worth the $$$$...lol
We were under a time crunch. I didn’t purchase any demos of this line so my rep was kind of enough to stop by for a few hours and let me hit them. We were running out time towards the end so we had to cut some stuff out. I do feel we got the info needed across though fairly thoroughly I could be wrong though. Thanks for watching.
You need to build in some more miss hits, low of the club face, heel & toe shots to give the average golfer an idea about how a game improvement club will help their game, new subscriber, keep up the good work
Great review! I was looking to buy the previous gen 0211 but these new ones with upgraded tech seem to hit all points, especially the price which is currently $115. Could you provide feedback regarding the pw and 5i? I see all of the reviews only hitting 7iron, like most reviews, but when I test clubs I feel there is not an even balance between the set. Being this is a progressive set I assume this could address this issue. Also looking at the Gen2 xf/p combo set as they are selling at $125, so tough product choices from PXG. Also, the people that complain about the jacked-up lofts are not considering PXG is trying to market to everyone and when you buy PXG they are custom for you so they can deloft the irons to your specs, not designed for off the rack purchase like other OEM's. And I would never complain about providing more distance with my current swing.
Hey guys, I have the PXG Proto X+ Driver and I have loved it in the 6 rounds I have played with it. During my Driver fitting I was put in the + model secondary to my fitter noting I was a "low spin player", the flatter setting of their driver (my miss is a hook left-I am a right handed golfer). I am in the market for a new 3 wood and 1-2 hybrids. I am looking for clubs the are harder to turn over, can be flattened and keep my spin a little higher...would the 0211 range be an option for me in the PXG clubs?
I would personally wait for the gen 4 stuff to come out or consider the matching prototype fairway and hybrids. If you need help feel free to call the shop!
Pxg 7i is 28deg!!!! For reference 5i is 26deg in a Wilson model staff blade .. crazy how manufacturers pump the loft and call it 7 iron. Pxg PW is 42deg!? 🤯🤯🤯 lol
Thanks guys. Ordered the 0211 irons 5-LW...going to get some distance

Was fitted +2 on 0211’s felt great
Hi !
What about disperssion ?
I would be pleased with the results that Kev-o gets with the new PXG 0211.

We did mention them being stronger lofted and the 7 and wedge lofts.
Not only is it a strong 6 iron in loft (28 degrees is a 6 bent 2 degrees strong) but the shaft length is 37.5, which is 6 iron length.
Waiting on delivery of my whole 0211 set. Just saw FedEx drove past house. Please come back and deliver. :) FedEx man is here, woo hoo.
Did you get them? What do you think?

I just ordered my whole new set how long did yours take ?
@@michaellevesque5471 from fitting to delivery 1 week.
@@Synfulz Pretty fast thank you.
I would have to add some loft on those irons since the 7 iron is basically lofted to a 4/5 iron, that spins super low

Personally I would go 0811. The 0211 was down on ball speed as can be seen in the video. We also talk about it.

Any of the black clubs you have to be careful hitting on sandy surfaces. Sucks but not terrible IMO.
Good review of the new line , got the irons 5-gw sat looking at me . In the Uk and in lockdown, can’t wait to hit them
We have a foot of snow on the ground right now so I feel you!
I was the 1,000th subscriber on your show on March 31, 2021..2:48am!!

Did not test the long irons. No overlap between any clubs either.
Looking at these- I normally play 2* flat lie. Id like to weaken the loft on them 1*. would you recommend keeping the 2* flat with the 1* weaken or maybe go to a 1* flat?
I’d keep the same lie angle just weaken the lofts.
How does the 0211 irons compare to the Gen2 irons? I’m undecided on which one to go with...
Gen 2 is better IMO
Nice swing but would be nice to see you and not so much cap. I have the Gen 2 driver and I prefer the more muted sound of it.
Hey Chester the gen 2 driver was really good and still is. The proto is king and the gen 4 in April should be interesting.

I am curious how the 0211 iron would perform 2 degrees week.
Probably like any other blade at more traditional lofts. My buddy has mp20 and we bent them 2* strong and we’re essentially getting the same numbers.
I appreciate you pronouncing it appropriately as "oh 2 eleven" oohrah
You’re welcome!!! Thanks for watching our video hope you enjoyed it.
Nice video. Just ordered a set of the irons. 4-LW
KBS c taper lite 110 shafts.
Thanks man hope you enjoy them.
Nice video guys, but would have liked to have seen more of a summary at the end, you didnt really talk much about the irons.

Thanks Gary!
He gets similar numbers with that 7-iron as I get with most 4-woods.

Best thing to do would be to get with a PXG fitter so you can check em all out side by side. They all have their own unique looks.
This is crazy how he hits his driver 70 yards past his 7iron
@DreadPirateRoberts that’s true

@@tourqualitygolf I still game titleist dci time to time. 5i is 28degree and 9i-44deg lol
Great review! Though
They can lower the loft because technology and design of new clubs launch the balls higher. +10 years ago that wasn't possible.
kids got a great swing, vid is almost unwatchable due to TOO MANY ADS
