Michael Hernon it means that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. The wages of sin is death (spiritual death, meaning hell) but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. This means that, because of our sins, God’s wrath abides on us. He is a just God, and because of that He has to punish wrongdoing, but He is also loving and merciful, and Because of His love and mercy He decided to send Jesus Christ His only begotten Son to take the wrath that we deserve so that through Him we can receive the forgiveness of sins. There is a spiritual aspect to this that you can experience as well. The bible says that if you believe in Jesus Christ and repent of your sins, you will be born again in the Spirit. This means that God will send His Holy Spirit to live inside of you and guide you into all truth. This experience changes a man. I’ve experienced it, and I’ve been set free of all kinds of sinful things. Pornography, alcohol addiction, lust, anger, wrath, etc... if you are interested in spiritual things, I suggest that you truly put some thought into who Jesus Christ is and what He preached. I was involved in occult practices as well and had some spiritual experiences before becoming a Christian, but nothing that compares to experiencing the love of God. I now have fellowship with God’s spirit. Imagine a true relationship with the Holy creator of the universe. Nothing compares. I hope and pray that that you’ll consider what I’ve said. I know what you mean about having a superiority complex over others. When I was wrapped up in vegan ideology I believed that everyone who wasn’t vegan was either evil or woefully ignorant. What a fool I was. The Lord opened my eyes in the midst of that darkness and revealed to me that I had been following idols as I lived as a vegan and vegan activist. I renounced veganism on the spot -confessing and repenting my adultery against Him. Since then, I’ve reflected much on the error of what I was believing and it’s direct contradiction of scripture. I am hungry to dialogue with other believers and identify and understand the lies of this ideology on a more theological level. One thing that struck me on this interview was when Steven brought up how during a night terror if instead of fighting it like usual you use the name of Jesus to resist the demon. That not only does it work but than they cease to happen. I can testify to that as someone who also was in the New Age very deep than gave his life to Christ. That is the first time I’ve heard someone say that. And I had actually done that myself years ago the week after I gave my life to Him. That blew my mind. I haven’t had a night terror in almost 6 years since that night. This is all true everything we have heard. There are no such thing as coincidences. Jesus Saves ✝️
I've experienced sleep paralysis all throughout my life and it's always a dark figure over me about a foot or two in front of my face. I found out that it's called sleep paralysis because I thought it was a reoccurring dream. I googled "sleep paralysis" and it was exactly what I have experienced since I was a child. It's happened to me about 10-20 times and it's the worst fear I've ever had Im born again and The experience has changed since I've been saved. I start praying to Jesus who is God and it stops immediately and I can even sit up when it stops and I'm not frozen. I'm always awake when it happens. I have no fear to go to sleep anymore I have Jesus :)
Kip Small 100 %. True. Jesus is the TRUTH! They ( the dark entities , demons)are SO scared at the mere mention of HIS name. Went through something exactly like that. After I rebuked them in Jesus name they fled faster than a speeding bullet. Also, felt a deep calm like I've never felt before.
Kip Small i had sleep paralysis for years (started when I was 19 years old and started with new age stuff). I had dark entetes atack me. The only thing that helped me was calling for Jesus, then it stoped. I been free from sleep paralysis more then 5 years.
Now we just have to figure out what is keeping those demons in your life. Pray to God to find out what is allowing that to persist. He will not only show you but set you free entirely.

So thankful for Steven Bancarz, I grew up in a christian home, catholic as a little girl, then at around the age of 12 my family and I started going to a pentecostal church and I eventually gave my life to the lord. I, like Steven, had a weird obsession with alien related everything. In my teens I started experiencing paralysis and I could not understand why, I would see the entity standing by my side or above me, it wasn't very often, then as I got older the experiences got scarier. All this to say that the last time this happened I remember praying and even though it was hard I started to shout the name of Jesus, which for some reason it was hard to do but I kept saying it over and over, in my head until I was able to move my mouth, like Steven said, it was the last time that ever happened and I am so grateful for Jesus, my savior, and I know there is power in his name.
thank you, steven, i really needed to hear what you say. i was raised into new age belief and even though i have been a committed christian many years, the wrong beliefs are so ingrained! today i put all my old new age books in the trash, and covered them with goopy garbage so even if found they would be ruined. broke a vase with a pagan image. destroyed an old pendulum i haven’t used for 10 years. i never considered before just having them could be a barrier in my walk with Jesus

What I think’s interesting is that new agers are so quick to deny Jesus because it doesn’t make sense, yet they come up with the most outrageous claims because it makes them feel good to convince themselves of their own false truth. It’s actually kind of pathetic when you think about it.
Like it or not, there is zero contemporary evidence for a historical Jesus. Let alone the extraordinary evidence needed to confirm the existence of the magical celestial zombie Jew - biblical Jesus. Now, if you're just saying Jesus the man existed. Fine, I am fine accepting that an alleged man inspired a legend. Yet, I remind you that there still isn't any contemporary evidence for that supposed man in the end. However, Occam's razor would suggest that; likely a man did inspire the legend of biblical Jesus. But, biblical Jesus is complete fiction, an unsubstantiated and extraordinary claim that would require extraordinary evidence to confirm the existence of 'its' existence. The real 'outrageous claim' is suggesting that the magical celestial zombie Jew incarnation of Yahweh existed. Absent of ANY evidence for that outrageous claim.

Just recently found your podcast/channel. As a former New Age experimenter turned to Christ, this resonated with me. I'm also currently in discussions with several New Age friends. Although I had general philosophical reasons to provide them as to where that movement fails, this information seems to be the more pointed type of thing I was needing, so I bought the book last night. Thanks for the work in exposing this stuff.
Steven is right, been there, done that. I can confirm almost all of what he's talking about. After a desperate prayer, GOD led to a woman to contact who gave me a copy of a book "The Beautiful Side of Evil" and once I read it, there was a massive change. First a very angry spirit came in and laid a very mean threat against me....but later that same night, I had a dream where I was being led around a house and there was a voice, directing me to grab things in this house and throw them into the fire. It were all sorts of things like tarot cards and other garbage. I was led to throw it all in this fire. That book sort of led me out but it was scripture that led me home. Jesus does indeed, save.

Just discovered Apologia Studios and plan to watch many more episodes. I first heard of Steven Bancarz on Jan Markell's radio broadcast and now try to listen to whatever I can find of him. Really appreciate this informative discussion and will have to buy Steven's book. I've never been a New Ager but I worry sometimes that my 2 grown daughters could get deceived into these beliefs. They already are way into Yoga and roll their eyes if I cautiously try to discuss with them. The younger had some experiences with YWAM in New Zealand and Uganda that I'm sure has led to some spiritual oppression. So all helpful info. from someone in the know is appreciated. I really want to thank you for the way you handled this discussion and ALL of the discussions on your podcasts. Every other time I hear about the cults/occult, it always seems to be presented in a sensational way. Ominous music and phrases that will pull you into the topic, but also creep you out the same way scary movies do. The study of the cults/occult can indeed be seductive. I am left with a sense of fear, even though I have been saved for years and even lead a Bible study. In contrast, when I listen to this, I walk away with a greater understanding, no further curiosity, and feeling unshakable and at peace in my faith. "Oh, that makes sense, I understand it better now, I have nothing to fear, and if I see cultish/occultish behavior I am equipped with what I need; Jesus and His Gospel." The more time I spend focusing on God and His Word, the easier it is to distinguish between what is God and what is "almost" God (the Enemy trying to trick me). By the Holy Spirit abiding in me, the Enemy is under my foot so I have nothing to fear when he comes for me with lies. I have my SWORD!
I had a false awakening and got deep into New Age for about a year and a half (tarot, crystals, astrology, sage, astral projection, ancestral altars, communicating with familiar spirits).... I got out about 6 months ago. I’ve been fasting and getting closer to God and accepted Jesus as my savior again! 🙂

And speaking of David Wilcox....there is an ad on your part 1 video about Gaia related to this topic. I almost went there to watch it! Amazing content and she's so much light into the subject, I was never a new ager so to speak. But I did have experiences and train myself to be able to tap into the astro realm. And successfully. I even to this day am aware of my dream state. Whenever having bad dreams or even boring dreams I wake myself up out of them. I do not practice these things anymore, it has been years but just the other night I truly believe I was being held back from something wicked in my dream state. After waking I was truly shooken to my core that something was playing with me. I also do know from back when I did mess with this stuff something secretly demonic latched onto me and even started to toy with me in my home. It got to the point where it was protecting a physical being in my home trying to torment me to the point where my friends had experienced it one night. Spiritual warfare is real. It is more powerful then us in an unconverted state. Very erie and wicked things are out there and they lie waiting for you if you allow it. Very grateful to you guys for this content on all three videos cultists and apologia segments. Very insightful to me to really know what it was I was dabbling in and where it comes from. Steven thank you for everything in this, it is comforting learning so deeply, so easily about what I wrought on myself without even knowing the extent of what I was once doing.
I just want to add a little note, the being that latched to me, I can say with absolutes certainty still lingers, and still rarely taunts me. I can feel it in the background. Thank you for this conversation. I am a Christian counselor who has a client into esoteric philosophy. He was raised in a Christian home. He doesn’t t believe in absolute and believe he is psychic and into tarot card reading. I feel so sad when I listen to him and have such a desire to tell him to “go back to the God of your youth! 😭”.

I have sleep paralysis almost every night. It used to scare me, it felt like my chest was being pulled out of my body, hearing this now, maybe it's my spirit that's being pulled out. I also have that buzz noise in my ears that drown out all other noise. Over the years I've learned to cope with it. When I wake up and find myself in this state, I just ride it out. I believe that I am a wretched person only made whole by the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ, He is my saviour, my love and my life. For years i couldn't understand why would God allow my to have these horrible experiences, now I just praise Jesus through them, usually during a sleep paralysis episode I will sing to my Jesus my saviour. I will praise Jesus through the storm!!

Most digital electronics have a quartz chip to regulate electric frequency. Like a gem stone can be used for a spectrum filter for a laser lense, crystals filter and regulate electric pulses. It's a huge part of circuit board design.

My confusion lies in affirmations and self-talk, especially using biblical verses/lines as affirmations such as (Philippians 4:13). We have had a notable biblical pastor like Derek Prince, who taught his church biblical proclamations(whoever runs his ministry now still sells proclamation cards), along with self-help christian teachers like Zig Ziglar who taught biblical affirmations as well. Check out the affirmation card they sell on his website. We have/had so many false teachers that I'm aware of, not saying Derek Prince is one of them, but where do we draw the line, where we are confident in Gods promises and we continue to quote on quote, "affirm" to ourselves such things as we grow in our faith, but not where we are using them in the way a new ager would, to "manifest" their dreams etc. Any input is greatly appreciated. what exactly are these promises? I know we are promised trials, tribulation, persecution, and eternal life. I am not familiar with any more promises than that
I agree with what you're saying and where you're coming from, but of course that's not what I'm referring to. With salvation through faith in Christ come the promises of God; comfort in times of tribulation(2 Corinthians 1:3-4, Romans 8:28), peace (Philipians 4:6-7,John 16:33) etc. That's what I meant.@@rayortiz6189
@@propfirmdealer (had an answer typed up but I guess it didnt save when I came back) that verse in philippians is Paul concluding that whatever situation he is in, whether good or bad, he is content (v11). v14-20 he explains that even though he didnt need much provisions to continue his work for Jesus, the churches were generous to him in providing. For us however, I would say pray as the Lord taught. If you analyze the Lord's prayer, you'll see a praise and exaltation of God, asking for forgiveness, asking to be taken care of, asking for protection from temptations to sin, and concluding with glorifying God. just before the verse you cited actually gives guidance to prayer: Philippians 4:4-7 (ESV): Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." so I would say if you have good, biblically grounded and informed theology-- that should inherently provide some guardrails to not teeter offroad into the new age stuff. I dont think we really need self affirmation, I think we need to remind ourselves of the gospel, and then refocus on what the Lord has commanded us and desires us to be focused on-- which is the kingdom and His righteousness
I thought my cousin was Christian believed in Jesus but she has been getting into this for years now. I confronted her about her tarot cards and she didn't want to talk about that with me anymore. She said she has never been into the bible or church. Please pray for her. I'm giving it to God.
This is freaking me out 😱when I was 19 I fell asleep at a friends house on the sofa and she had gone to work and I remember being asleep then waking up but couldn’t open my eyes or move but feeling like I was coming out of my body and floating up and remember the loud ringing in my ears as this was happening then once I could finally open my eyes I realized I was still laying on the sofa which surprised me because I know my body was floating! So I brushed it off as a weird dream then closed my eyes again and as soon as I did that my ears starting ringing again and I came out of my body again and couldn’t open my eyes and couldn’t move😢this was before being saved but when Steve said the ear ringing thing I realized that is what happen to me! And I wasn’t into new age then or anything like that just sleeping ! I also experienced more sleep paralysis on a few other occasions one where I felt my body being slowly pulled off the sofa while sleeping and was trying so hard to wake up and open my eyes! Sooooooo scary! After I got saved it never happen again but once in a while I still have demonic dreams except now I call out the blood of Jesus then I’m able to wake up ...
Jesus pulled me out of a dark place in mind and heart, after daily yoga, and totally into New Age for years, a Christian prayer in The name of Jesus (from a youtube video unraveling the Satanic nature of The Course in Miracles and Marianne WIlliamson's teachings) When I joined the prayer, instantly I felt how a dark heavy cloud of dense energy sucking my Life energy and oppressing and influencing my thoughts negatively was lifted up and I was freed supernaturally instantly for my astonishment, all by The Grace of God. I saw my PRiDE (ORIGINAL SIN) at the root of it all (that opened up the door for this entity whatever it was). I repented, I cried, I prayed the sinners prayer and I gave my Life to JEsus. Years earlier to this episode I was in a holidays trip and saw someone wandering around my hotel room, a girl in her early twenties or late teenage hood who seemed lost and under the effect of drugs. I asked her: are you ok? She said yes, but she looked so lost and empty. I said 'Do you need a hug? She said yes, and when I hugged her a supernatural freaking scary thing happened, my Soul instantly begun to leave my physical body, whatever was inside of that girl was pulling myself out of my body, I immediately stepped back and it took me hours, even a day to recover from the experience. (I had not given my Life to Jesus at the time). So yes, these things are for real. And people don't talk about it on the average church.. unfortunately.

not only is new age mainstream , they think they're "woke" and that is so appealing to this culture who is so prideful in knowledge. i am guilty , as we all are , for wanting to seek such knowledge to seem like they have their lives together , to get what they want in life , just so much of our evil nature is magnified when we see our hunger for new age. it magnified my want for knowledge to be better than others , greed to "speak money into existence" and so much more. I was once predicted that my old supervisor who was a real bully would leave his job by xmas due to bad health. Two Xmas's came and went. But just after he was on sick leave. I was relieved. He was horrible. Three months later, he came back. It was really weird, because i felt like i was being laughed at. Not maliciously, more like when children laugh at you when you fall over. Just after, i had to leave that job because i went through a really bad time from which i ended up on anti depressants.
I say this with total humility and not to create a division but when is the church going to realize that the gifts of the spirit have not ceased and are still in operation. These are good gifts given to the New Testament church, they are just so abused that it has turn believers away from them.
The gifts of the spirit are very real. The problem here is that we are being taught to desire and control the gifts for our own enjoyment and power, to manipulate these gifts with an underlying motivation of feeling powerful and somewhat superior. This is sinful motivation. The gifts of God to men are not to be controlled by men. God activates them at will and manifests them at will. The command God gave Adam & Eve is still the same today. Do not eat of the fruit. Do not access a level of knowledge you are not meant to access. There's a reason for that. Men is self-destructive with too much knowledge. God is not in this business. The devil, however, is and capitalizes on it. So he says "go ahead, activate your pineal gland, get that mushroom tea, they will take you inside this exciting world that you've been a part of the whole time. Take the red pill, go inside the Matrix. Go without God's permission or without God at all. Do it yourself in your own efforts. You will be powerful, like a god". It's the same lie he gave Adam & Eve. This is why 1 Corinthians 14 says that if we wish to have spiritual gifts, it's best for us to wish to prophecy instead of speaking in tongues. Why? Because it's a gift that's primarily beneficial to OTHERS veruss speaking in tongues which is focused in benefiting us.

Thank you for this video... it is brilliant! Just a question. I have wondered about demonic possession and oppression for a while and grappling with an issue. When someone is born again, Christ indwells, and I dont believe that a Christian can be possessed. But now, when someone was possessed and born again, do the demons flee as Christ has set that person free and has completed that work at the cross, and now how does this work with delivering someone of demons. If someone is truly Born again, is it all done? I tend to think this way. But if they have only begun their journey and are not yet regenerated, is this when deliverance needs to occur? With oppression, I believe a Christian can be oppressed as long as God allows it, and I dont believe in any special prayers to relieve that oppression, but rather to appeal to God in these instances to relieve the oppression seen as demon must obey Him. At the end of the day, if our salvation and freedom was finished at the Cross, then surely we dont need to speak to demons as God is sovereign and has the victory already. Can you let me know what you think or if my thinking is the same as yours, as I am coming across a few people who believe in ancestral curses and that we need to renounce sins of past ancestors to release us from oppression and curses, but I just dont see that in the Bible at all.... And I heard a few allusions to things which may have led down that path, but possibly not...

Yes it does say that in the King James Version, and it can make a lot of people possibly think of the third eye. However, if you look at the original greek word He used "haploûs," and it is in reference to the eye being whole or sound: "In which there is nothing complicated or confused." This is why almost all new translations will translate the word as "healthy," or "good," and not the confusing "single." This also contextually ties into the next verse, where He says "if thine eye is bad."

As for Him saying "eye" and not "eyes," Paul does the exact same thing. "And the eye cannot say to the hand, 'I have no need of you'(1 Cor 12:21). Now, shall we assume Paul, since he uses the singular "eye," means the third eye? I suppose there is also the third hand as well. Please be careful to take the text at face value, at what Jesus and the writers intended it to mean, instead of what you hope it might mean. Avis, with this I don't mean to offend you or anything like that, but it is important that you do your best to walk in wisdom when concerning truth.

Thank you so much. I never have been into New Age but I know many who practice (unknowingly). As a Christian, it is intimidating to minister to someone who has seen power from the other side. So, for me its important to understand what it is that the devil can do for his followers so that I know what I'm going up against. I don't like to be ignorant of the devil's devices. Some of the devil's followers have more faith in the dark forces than many Christians do in their own God. Many of the devil's followers are very intelligent as well so I like to treat them as such. I don't believe its a good idea to dismiss a person's faith in the dark side (calling them crazy or dumb, etc) - they may have a fairly good reason for having faith in the dark side, but only because they don't know The God of the Bible -Jesus! And, most do not realize it is the dark side. So many people who fall into the deception of other religions, do so with good intentions. They believe they are doing good things, not bad. The ones that do have evil intentions are fewer than those with good intentions. If they can just have fatih, zeal and commitment to the One True God, they'll be on the right track. It's very important to know deep down (not just in your head) who you are in Christ.. it helps to medetite and proclaim scriptures on identity and authority until you know in your inner most being (ex. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world), then when you come across the demonic, you will naturally stand your ground and demons will tremble. God bless :-)
I had a Hindu man come to my bible study group, asking me why does he need Jesus to heal when he sees punjabi healers heal all the time. My answer (by the Holy Spirit) was "If I were to offer you 1 dollar or a MILLION dollars which would you choose? Satan has limited power for a time. I had 4 instances of sleep paralysis in the last few years where I would wake up unable to move and either see the same horned creature speaking to me in a high pitched voice or there would be a dense dark mist that would envelop my whole body like a million hands touching me all over all at once. All I could think to do during these instances is pray and in all cases I was released and woke up in utter terror.

There is a spiritual aspect to this that you can experience as well. The bible says that if you believe in Jesus Christ and repent of your sins, you will be born again in the Spirit. This means that God will send His Holy Spirit to live inside of you and guide you into all truth. This experience changes a man. I’ve experienced it, and I’ve been set free of all kinds of sinful things. Pornography, alcohol addiction, lust, anger, wrath, etc... if you are interested in spiritual things, I suggest that you truly put some thought into who Jesus Christ is and what He preached. I was involved in occult practices as well and had some spiritual experiences before becoming a Christian, but nothing that compares to experiencing the love of God. I know what you mean about having a superiority complex over others. When I was wrapped up in vegan ideology I believed that everyone who wasn’t vegan was either evil or woefully ignorant. What a fool I was. The Lord opened my eyes in the midst of that darkness and revealed to me that I had been following idols as I lived as a vegan and vegan activist. I renounced veganism on the spot -confessing and repenting my adultery against Him. Since then, I’ve reflected much on the error of what I was believing and it’s direct contradiction of scripture. I am hungry to dialogue with other believers and identify and understand the lies of this ideology on a more theological level. One thing that struck me on this interview was when Steven brought up how during a night terror if instead of fighting it like usual you use the name of Jesus to resist the demon. That not only does it work but than they cease to happen. I can testify to that as someone who also was in the New Age very deep than gave his life to Christ. That is the first time I’ve heard someone say that. And I had actually done that myself years ago the week after I gave my life to Him. That blew my mind. I've experienced sleep paralysis all throughout my life and it's always a dark figure over me about a foot or two in front of my face. I found out that it's called sleep paralysis because I thought it was a reoccurring dream. I googled "sleep paralysis" and it was exactly what I have experienced since I was a child. It's happened to me about 10-20 times and it's the worst fear I've ever had
Im born again and The experience has changed since I've been saved. I start praying to Jesus who is God and it stops immediately and I can even sit up when it stops and I'm not frozen. I'm always awake when it happens. I have no fear to go to sleep anymore I have Jesus :)

Now we just have to figure out what is keeping those demons in your life. Pray to God to find out what is allowing that to persist. He will not only show you but set you free entirely.

So thankful for Steven Bancarz, I grew up in a christian home, catholic as a little girl, then at around the age of 12 my family and I started going to a pentecostal church and I eventually gave my life to the lord. I, like Steven, had a weird obsession with alien related everything. In my teens I started experiencing paralysis and I could not understand why, I would see the entity standing by my side or above me, it wasn't very often, then as I got older the experiences got scarier. All this to say that the last time this happened I remember praying and even though it was hard I started to shout the name of Jesus, which for some reason it was hard to do but I kept saying it over and over, in my head until I was able to move my mouth, like Steven said, it was the last time that ever happened and I am so grateful for Jesus, my savior, and I know there is power in his name.

Steven is right, been there, done that. I can confirm almost all of what he's talking about. After a desperate prayer, GOD led to a woman to contact who gave me a copy of a book "The Beautiful Side of Evil" and once I read it, there was a massive change. First a very angry spirit came in and laid a very mean threat against me....but later that same night, I had a dream where I was being led around a house and there was a voice, directing me to grab things in this house and throw them into the fire. It were all sorts of things like tarot cards and other garbage. I was led to throw it all in this fire. That book sort of led me out but it was scripture that led me home. Jesus does indeed, save.

Just discovered Apologia Studios and plan to watch many more episodes. I first heard of Steven Bancarz on Jan Markell's radio broadcast and now try to listen to whatever I can find of him. Really appreciate this informative discussion and will have to buy Steven's book. I've never been a New Ager but I worry sometimes that my 2 grown daughters could get deceived into these beliefs. They already are way into Yoga and roll their eyes if I cautiously try to discuss with them. The younger had some experiences with YWAM in New Zealand and Uganda that I'm sure has led to some spiritual oppression. So all helpful info. from someone in the know is appreciated. I really want to thank you for the way you handled this discussion and ALL of the discussions on your podcasts.
Every other time I hear about the cults/occult, it always seems to be presented in a sensational way. Ominous music and phrases that will pull you into the topic, but also creep you out the same way scary movies do. The study of the cults/occult can indeed be seductive. I am left with a sense of fear, even though I have been saved for years and even lead a Bible study.
In contrast, when I listen to this, I walk away with a greater understanding, no further curiosity, and feeling unshakable and at peace in my faith. "Oh, that makes sense, I understand it better now, I have nothing to fear, and if I see cultish/occultish behavior I am equipped with what I need; Jesus and His Gospel."
The more time I spend focusing on God and His Word, the easier it is to distinguish between what is God and what is "almost" God (the Enemy trying to trick me). By the Holy Spirit abiding in me, the Enemy is under my foot so I have nothing to fear when he comes for me with lies. I have my SWORD!

I had a false awakening and got deep into New Age for about a year and a half (tarot, crystals, astrology, sage, astral projection, ancestral altars, communicating with familiar spirits).... I got out about 6 months ago. I’ve been fasting and getting closer to God and accepted Jesus as my savior again! 🙂

Amazing content and she's so much light into the subject, I was never a new ager so to speak.
But I did have experiences and train myself to be able to tap into the astro realm. And successfully.
I even to this day am aware of my dream state. Whenever having bad dreams or even boring dreams I wake myself up out of them.
I do not practice these things anymore, it has been years but just the other night I truly believe I was being held back from something wicked in my dream state. After waking I was truly shooken to my core that something was playing with me.
I also do know from back when I did mess with this stuff something secretly demonic latched onto me and even started to toy with me in my home.
It got to the point where it was protecting a physical being in my home trying to torment me to the point where my friends had experienced it one night.
Spiritual warfare is real. It is more powerful then us in an unconverted state. Very erie and wicked things are out there and they lie waiting for you if you allow it.
Very grateful to you guys for this content on all three videos cultists and apologia segments. Very insightful to me to really know what it was I was dabbling in and where it comes from.

I have sleep paralysis almost every night. It used to scare me, it felt like my chest was being pulled out of my body, hearing this now, maybe it's my spirit that's being pulled out. I also have that buzz noise in my ears that drown out all other noise. Over the years I've learned to cope with it. When I wake up and find myself in this state, I just ride it out. I believe that I am a wretched person only made whole by the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ, He is my saviour, my love and my life. For years i couldn't understand why would God allow my to have these horrible experiences, now I just praise Jesus through them, usually during a sleep paralysis episode I will sing to my Jesus my saviour. I will praise Jesus through the storm!!

My confusion lies in affirmations and self-talk, especially using biblical verses/lines as affirmations such as (Philippians 4:13). We have had a notable biblical pastor like Derek Prince, who taught his church biblical proclamations(whoever runs his ministry now still sells proclamation cards), along with self-help christian teachers like Zig Ziglar who taught biblical affirmations as well. Check out the affirmation card they sell on his website.
We have/had so many false teachers that I'm aware of, not saying Derek Prince is one of them, but where do we draw the line, where we are confident in Gods promises and we continue to quote on quote, "affirm" to ourselves such things as we grow in our faith, but not where we are using them in the way a new ager would, to "manifest" their dreams etc.
Any input is greatly appreciated.

I agree with what you're saying and where you're coming from, but of course that's not what I'm referring to. With salvation through faith in Christ come the promises of God; comfort in times of tribulation(2 Corinthians 1:3-4, Romans 8:28), peace (Philipians 4:6-7,John 16:33) etc. That's what I meant.@@rayortiz6189
@@propfirmdealer (had an answer typed up but I guess it didnt save when I came back) that verse in philippians is Paul concluding that whatever situation he is in, whether good or bad, he is content (v11). v14-20 he explains that even though he didnt need much provisions to continue his work for Jesus, the churches were generous to him in providing. For us however, I would say pray as the Lord taught. If you analyze the Lord's prayer, you'll see a praise and exaltation of God, asking for forgiveness, asking to be taken care of, asking for protection from temptations to sin, and concluding with glorifying God.
just before the verse you cited actually gives guidance to prayer:
Philippians 4:4-7 (ESV): Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
so I would say if you have good, biblically grounded and informed theology-- that should inherently provide some guardrails to not teeter offroad into the new age stuff. I dont think we really need self affirmation, I think we need to remind ourselves of the gospel, and then refocus on what the Lord has commanded us and desires us to be focused on-- which is the kingdom and His righteousness
I thought my cousin was Christian believed in Jesus but she has been getting into this for years now. I confronted her about her tarot cards and she didn't want to talk about that with me anymore. She said she has never been into the bible or church. Please pray for her. I'm giving it to God.
This is freaking me out 😱when I was 19 I fell asleep at a friends house on the sofa and she had gone to work and I remember being asleep then waking up but couldn’t open my eyes or move but feeling like I was coming out of my body and floating up and remember the loud ringing in my ears as this was happening then once I could finally open my eyes I realized I was still laying on the sofa which surprised me because I know my body was floating! So I brushed it off as a weird dream then closed my eyes again and as soon as I did that my ears starting ringing again and I came out of my body again and couldn’t open my eyes and couldn’t move😢this was before being saved but when Steve said the ear ringing thing I realized that is what happen to me! And I wasn’t into new age then or anything like that just sleeping ! I also experienced more sleep paralysis on a few other occasions one where I felt my body being slowly pulled off the sofa while sleeping and was trying so hard to wake up and open my eyes! Sooooooo scary! After I got saved it never happen again but once in a while I still have demonic dreams except now I call out the blood of Jesus then I’m able to wake up ...

Jesus pulled me out of a dark place in mind and heart, after daily yoga, and totally into New Age for years, a Christian prayer in The name of Jesus (from a youtube video unraveling the Satanic nature of The Course in Miracles and Marianne WIlliamson's teachings) When I joined the prayer, instantly I felt how a dark heavy cloud of dense energy sucking my Life energy and oppressing and influencing my thoughts negatively was lifted up and I was freed supernaturally instantly for my astonishment, all by The Grace of God. I saw my PRiDE (ORIGINAL SIN) at the root of it all (that opened up the door for this entity whatever it was). I repented, I cried, I prayed the sinners prayer and I gave my Life to JEsus. Years earlier to this episode I was in a holidays trip and saw someone wandering around my hotel room, a girl in her early twenties or late teenage hood who seemed lost and under the effect of drugs. I asked her: are you ok? She said yes, but she looked so lost and empty. I said 'Do you need a hug? She said yes, and when I hugged her a supernatural freaking scary thing happened, my Soul instantly begun to leave my physical body, whatever was inside of that girl was pulling myself out of my body, I immediately stepped back and it took me hours, even a day to recover from the experience. (I had not given my Life to Jesus at the time). So yes, these things are for real. And people don't talk about it on the average church.. unfortunately.

I was once predicted that my old supervisor who was a real bully would leave his job by xmas due to bad health. Two Xmas's came and went. But just after he was on sick leave. I was relieved. He was horrible. Three months later, he came back. It was really weird, because i felt like i was being laughed at. Not maliciously, more like when children laugh at you when you fall over. Just after, i had to leave that job because i went through a really bad time from which i ended up on anti depressants.

I say this with total humility and not to create a division but when is the church going to realize that the gifts of the spirit have not ceased and are still in operation. These are good gifts given to the New Testament church, they are just so abused that it has turn believers away from them.
The gifts of the spirit are very real. The problem here is that we are being taught to desire and control the gifts for our own enjoyment and power, to manipulate these gifts with an underlying motivation of feeling powerful and somewhat superior. This is sinful motivation. The gifts of God to men are not to be controlled by men. God activates them at will and manifests them at will. The command God gave Adam & Eve is still the same today. Do not eat of the fruit. Do not access a level of knowledge you are not meant to access. There's a reason for that. Men is self-destructive with too much knowledge. God is not in this business. The devil, however, is and capitalizes on it. So he says "go ahead, activate your pineal gland, get that mushroom tea, they will take you inside this exciting world that you've been a part of the whole time. Take the red pill, go inside the Matrix. Go without God's permission or without God at all. Do it yourself in your own efforts. You will be powerful, like a god". It's the same lie he gave Adam & Eve. This is why 1 Corinthians 14 says that if we wish to have spiritual gifts, it's best for us to wish to prophecy instead of speaking in tongues. Why? Because it's a gift that's primarily beneficial to OTHERS veruss speaking in tongues which is focused in benefiting us.
Interesting Facts, amen to that... it just sad to see so many brothers and sisters in Christ reject these gifts because of the abuse and twisting.

Thank you for this video... it is brilliant! Just a question. I have wondered about demonic possession and oppression for a while and grappling with an issue. When someone is born again, Christ indwells, and I dont believe that a Christian can be possessed. But now, when someone was possessed and born again, do the demons flee as Christ has set that person free and has completed that work at the cross, and now how does this work with delivering someone of demons. If someone is truly Born again, is it all done? I tend to think this way. But if they have only begun their journey and are not yet regenerated, is this when deliverance needs to occur? With oppression, I believe a Christian can be oppressed as long as God allows it, and I dont believe in any special prayers to relieve that oppression, but rather to appeal to God in these instances to relieve the oppression seen as demon must obey Him. At the end of the day, if our salvation and freedom was finished at the Cross, then surely we dont need to speak to demons as God is sovereign and has the victory already. Can you let me know what you think or if my thinking is the same as yours, as I am coming across a few people who believe in ancestral curses and that we need to renounce sins of past ancestors to release us from oppression and curses, but I just dont see that in the Bible at all.... And I heard a few allusions to things which may have led down that path, but possibly not...

Yes it does say that in the King James Version, and it can make a lot of people possibly think of the third eye. However, if you look at the original greek word He used "haploûs," and it is in reference to the eye being whole or sound: "In which there is nothing complicated or confused." This is why almost all new translations will translate the word as "healthy," or "good," and not the confusing "single."
This also contextually ties into the next verse, where He says "if thine eye is bad."

As for Him saying "eye" and not "eyes," Paul does the exact same thing. "And the eye cannot say to the hand, 'I have no need of you'(1 Cor 12:21). Now, shall we assume Paul, since he uses the singular "eye," means the third eye? I suppose there is also the third hand as well.
Please be careful to take the text at face value, at what Jesus and the writers intended it to mean, instead of what you hope it might mean. Avis, with this I don't mean to offend you or anything like that, but it is important that you do your best to walk in wisdom when concerning truth.

Thank you so much. I never have been into New Age but I know many who practice (unknowingly). As a Christian, it is intimidating to minister to someone who has seen power from the other side. So, for me its important to understand what it is that the devil can do for his followers so that I know what I'm going up against. I don't like to be ignorant of the devil's devices. Some of the devil's followers have more faith in the dark forces than many Christians do in their own God. Many of the devil's followers are very intelligent as well so I like to treat them as such. I don't believe its a good idea to dismiss a person's faith in the dark side (calling them crazy or dumb, etc) - they may have a fairly good reason for having faith in the dark side, but only because they don't know The God of the Bible -Jesus! And, most do not realize it is the dark side. So many people who fall into the deception of other religions, do so with good intentions. They believe they are doing good things, not bad. The ones that do have evil intentions are fewer than those with good intentions. If they can just have fatih, zeal and commitment to the One True God, they'll be on the right track. Thanks so much for your teaching.
It's very important to know deep down (not just in your head) who you are in Christ.. it helps to medetite and proclaim scriptures on identity and authority until you know in your inner most being (ex. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world), then when you come across the demonic, you will naturally stand your ground and demons will tremble. God bless :-)

I had a Hindu man come to my bible study group, asking me why does he need Jesus to heal when he sees punjabi healers heal all the time. My answer (by the Holy Spirit) was "If I were to offer you 1 dollar or a MILLION dollars which would you choose? Satan has limited power for a time. JESUS HAS ALL POWER AND AUTHORITY FOR ETERNITY, and every knee will bow before Him. Why would you turn to the lesser? Demonic miracles take peoples eyes OFF of and away from Jesus.

I had 4 instances of sleep paralysis in the last few years where I would wake up unable to move and either see the same horned creature speaking to me in a high pitched voice or there would be a dense dark mist that would envelop my whole body like a million hands touching me all over all at once. All I could think to do during these instances is pray and in all cases I was released and woke up in utter terror.
