- It's the new Pariah Nexus mission deck, Warhammer 40k 10th edition matched play season 2, battle-pass not included. What does it all mean?

Hobby dungeon in your roof? Wouldn’t that be more of a hobby pigeon coop?
Comment for the algorithm!
I like that you point out that it is just another way to play. I think people get too tied up with that you HAVE to play this way. More ways to play equals more enjoyment of the game!
Say that to tournament players that is NOW the only way to play sadly 😕
30 seconds in and I have a perfect understanding of Pariah Nexus! Thanks for the breakdown!
Making sure your enemy controls no points I'll probably try a lot. More than once I've been out pointed after destroying my opponent. That's basically table them to win.
So there's no drawback to doing the secret mission really? If you continue to score primary as normal then you might as well take the secret mission every time?
Remember, you don't have to play open play or competitive. You can literally make up match rules or a narrative battle.
Forever?
Don't you mean for the next 12 months?
Aren't we getting a new set every summer?
The new card deck looks better but it also still looks like for the primaries we're still going to be fighting over the same boring 5 objectives just in different positions again. It would be good to see missions with 1,2,3 or maybe even 4 objectives and just generally a bit more variation like some of the older card decks.
This feels a bit too little too late. That may be because I've fairly firmly moved into Old World and I'm building a second Heresy army so my 40K is on the back burner but...
I don't know. My interest in 40K just feels so flat nowadays.
People telling you they don't play 40k anymore are the new vegans.
@@chriskowal1896 lucky for me I didn't say I didn't play it anymore so the point in telling me seems rather moot, right?
because mechanicus units are all cyborg slaves or computer people with loads of mechadendrites, it would be interesting to let them bend the rules like shooting and doing actions or advancing and doing actions or something
Love narrative, great review. I don’t really play much anymore!
It's changed casual play too! In that none of my friends want to play 10th any more because the codices are all terrible!
They've watered down the soup _and_ taken the ingredients out of it, all while slapping "new and improved" on the can. Something tells me they want to beat those covid-era of sales where several people took up the hobby during furlough, and -cutting costs- streamlining is how they're trying to do it. Never works out in the end, but hey, in short term their bottom line will look good!
But then, everybody says you're looking good when you lose weight at first. Only a doctor will be concerned because rapid weight loss is a sign of some serious health issues.
way to shit on admech even more by not allowing us to advance and shoot onto a objective
True. also a nerf to Space Marines -- no more doing actions while fighting just because you have a pistol in your pocket.
on the middle shelf on the left, next to the night bringer and necron tombs, there is an awesome looking black figurine, what model is that? is that a tyranid? looks cool as
I think Winters showed this in another video! It's one of Den of Imagination's alternative models for Screamer-Killers :) I'm pretty sure it is anyway haha
7 minutes and 24 seconds. Thank you. Other very well informed UA-camrs have explained this deck in over an hour.
I’ve literally just brought a battlemat that all the deployment zones drawn on… now less useful! :) oh well, changes keep stuff fresh, these look like they could be fun, thanks for the heads up
Thousand sons double move in the shooting phase still ok for action doing, as it is not an advance move!
Changed forever! (Until the next update)
I do like that battle line units become more valueable. the OC 0 rules are fair - but I think they need to redusce the points cost of these units,, too. Or better yet, give some of them OC 1 (like wulfen).
Rip nids
They've already said they're going to tweak the points.
Why rip nids? They can put 20 termagants with oc2 on an objective and bring back dead models
My gameplan with Demons 3 inch deep striking nurglings for fixed behind and deploy every turn just got thrown out the window
Wolfen are already stupid cheap for there damage and durability. Give them some OC and they will need to be around 120pts for 5.
Watching this right after pre ordering mine. Thanks winters as per.
Those stepped deployments look... well. hmmm.
Does anyone know if the Search and Destroy and Crucible of Battle deployment maps have remained the same in Pariah Nexus Mission Deck? Thanks.
Winters showed search and destroy in the video.
I win! First….
The Lion approves.
forever? Not for only one year?
Insert caveats here… 😂💪
Clench!
What brand is the flat cap? I keep meaning to ask!
Gotta be a chimney sweep to get one
