Woah, that blowed my mind. It's the opposite I hear from everyone, including church people. All of them say that the man has to pursue a woman. Where in fact is the opposite, God brings the woman to the man, if I understood correctly.
“For this reason a man shall leave his mother and father and GO and cleave to his wife and the 2 shall become 1 flesh.” The man does the leaving. The man goes to the woman.
The definition of marriage has to be established. Derek said Adam was married to Eve, but if you go by the way people (and even Christians) define marriage today, then you just need, a witness sign a marriage certificate and then you're all good to have sex. I also find it a bit crazy to say that "God decides when the marriage happens" Theres also an oversimplification of things in this video. Adam had no other options other than Eve
I don't know where you all heard him, even imply a woman is supposed to go and look for a man. The Bible tells us God created Eve and presented her to Adam. That isn't in any fashion, shape, or form implying that a woman goes out and looks for a man. You have to allow God to prepare you for marriage and bring it to pass if it is HIS will for your life.
@@cirohugo God presents the woman. God makes them cross paths. It's the husband's responsibility to recognize her as his wife. That's when he finds a wife. He may have been in the presence of a lot of females but until he recognizes one as his wife, he hasn't found her yet. Even when she had been around him all along.
I wish God would hurry up and bring me my wife. Life has tormented me and my struggle with sin has broken me. I truly need the wife God has for me to make it all worth the pain that I never chose to feel.

So if God brought Eve to Adam then does the scripture that says "A man that fineth a wife finds a good thing" Does it mean that God presented Eve to Adam and Adam found her? Or is that scripture for an entirely different situation?
Finding and "searching" are two different things. I can find gold treasure in my backyard even when I wasn't looking for gold. Usually, when someone loses something like their keys they find it once they stop looking, they realize it was in an obvious place all along. The verse you're referring to is in proverbs. Proverbs also says in 19:14 " Houses and wealth are inherited from fathers, but a prudent wife is from the LORD."

Yes. We are under grace that much is true. The main thing we don't do anymore from the old testament is sacrifice animals before God and built an altar in that regard. Because Jesus became the ultimate sacrifice. But that doesn't we just marry divorce, marry divorce, and marry and divorce. God still honors the sanctity of marriage that HE HIMSELF brings together between man and woman/husband and wife. I pray your strength in the Lord IN JESUS' NAME. I PRAY THAT YOU CHOOSE TO GROW IN THE DISCERNMENT OF GOD IN JESUS' NAME. AMEN. You must choose to be teachable.
