Man, I hadn't thought of it in a few years but Before the Devil Knows You're Dead is such an awesome thriller, highly recommend everyone check it out. I've never seen Owning Mahowny before, but if Phillip Seymour Hoffman's performance in that is comparable to Before the Devil Knows You're Dead then I need to see it asap.
Hoffman was just such an incredible character actor. For me, he's become one of those rare performers where I'll watch any movie at all if I know that I'm getting at least 5 minutes of PSH on screen. It's a shame we won't get to see the roles he could have taken on as he got older.
