I was speaking to a male nurse in inverclyde hospital I was telling him of you being around maspalomas stalls etc and he was telling me to visit yumbo centre. A must visit if in Gran Canaria. 25;c nawwwwwwwwwww. It’s Baltic back hame 😭😭😭😭😭

They're not just shopping centres though, more like entertainment centres. Loads of bars and restaurants in there.
Agree with Gillian. Why on earth would holidaymakers spend hundreds of pounds to fly to a foreign country in order to wander around a tired, run down shopping centre? It really doesn't float my boat at all.
@@tazzatamaniaI just don’t get the whole centre thing. It’s not for me. I prefer streets of bars, shops, restaurants to wander not 70’s/80’s looking centres.

We took a bus from Puerto Rico to Meloneras last year, then walked around to Playa Del Ingles (across the beach by the dunes 🤭) for food, then up to the Yumbo center and got the bus outside by the car park. It was a warm day and the Mrs still hasnt forgiven me 😆

Wee Kevin, something for everyone in the Yumbo. The more up market clothing shops in there are at the Windsor Gardens end and its genuine stuff too unlike all the other knock off shops 😂 The best investment they made at the Yumbo was installing the lifts a few years back!!! There is a web cam above the mini golf, several others dotted about PDI as well, google search them. Late February will be the PDL carnival with the Pride Carnival later on in the year. Snippet of useless info, the Las Arenas apartments by the Metro/Kasbah CC's have a speedos off section on the roof terrace 😎 Cheers DougT

Lifts don't work
After all these videos, cant believe kev still says Tenerife is better lol so much more variation and things to do and see in Gran Canaria instead of miles and miles of egg and chip restaurants and chavvy bars in Tenerife 🙄
lots of nice places in Tenerife check out my playlists but we all have our favourites thanks for watching the gran canaria ones hope you are enjoying them.
