My main gripe is to get into Toronto, I do take the Go from Guelph though and it is very much doable. Never be afraid to reinvent yourself. Damn, that was definitely not your usual "tech-adjacent UA-camr talking about tech" kind of video. I moved to Toronto about half a year ago from Alberta, and I get what you mean. It's cool being somewhere that feels generally connected to the world. I can't escape the fact that a seemingly endless amount of my favourite content creators and musicians are here (a particular shout-out to Brand of Sacrifice). Nowhere is perfect, and Toronto certainly has plenty of issues, but I feel at ease and at home here in a way I just never did before. There's always something new to see or do (or eat), I don't need a car to handle any of my day-to-day, people are welcoming and friendly, I've never been happier with my job, and I overall feel like I'm allowed to have a life and be myself here. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with next!
