This is still the Best Naruto game to me Gameplay wise. you could actually have strategy in this game! The specials were waaaaaay better and cooler. actual team specials for assists. and the items were actually useful ! Plus old and new generation! Man i love this game!

Wish they would made a HD Collection for PS4 of Ultimate Ninja but very unlikely, they could just do Ultimate Ninja 6 with all the Shippuden Story and characters. Same for the Clash of Ninja GBC, Wii games. Maybe as HD collection on the Switch. But I doubt we ever get this. At least we get the Legacy Collection of Ultimate Ninja Storm. I always loved the 2D battle stage of the original Ultimate Ninja + with several areas to teleport to. Also the art how the jutsus were made with button mashing and amazing looking cinematics... But the best Bandai game for me is still DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3. Would love seeing those remastered as well... Instead we got the boring Xenoverse. meh...
If you want an interesting, story-related challenge, try to beat Itachi in this game using young Sasuke, in Insane mode, with full handicap for you (so your health drains faster). I managed to pull it off a few times, tell me if you make it.
Ultimate Ninja 3 had some crazy cool combos/assisted Ougis too!! It can easily compete against UN5 (also, most of UN5 Ougis are from or based on UN3). BTW, I believe that Hashirama's Ougis and Jiraiya's double Rasengan Ougi are awesomeness itself, and there is no room to do a better Ougi in any upcoming game ever.
is this a emulator on the pc or are u playing this on ps2? if on pc can u tell me ur specs because my game lags a lot when I play on settings this high
Are you kidding?? Itachi's moves outclass Sasuke's!! Just itachi's throw is enough to stand against all Sasuke's move list, so it's not even worth mentioning that his f+O combo is godlike along with his entire moves and Jutsus (just spaming Goukakyu is enough to throw all Sasuke's options :p )

I know that in fact Itachi would beat Sasuke, but in this game most of Sasuke's attacks are better than Itachi's. But Itachi's Reversal, in this case, has better mechanics, and only touching the enemy would trigger it. It-s all about the jutsu triggering.
Just be good with jumps and time your moves correctly to beat the CPU. I can go through Gai's survival in the hardest difficulty (insane it's called I think, it's been so long I cant remember precisely) until I get bored while keeping my health bar in green state, using all the cast (yeah, including Konohamaru, and do not mention Hanabi caus' she's better than many others). Using the shuriken glitch can help a lot but not a necessity. Actually, Storm 1 CPU is slightly better than PS2 series.

The PS2 Ultimate Ninja series is the ONLY series (except for Storm 1 on PS3) where the CPU's were actually HARD to beat (imo)
