Hey everyone!! I hope you enjoyed the video! REMINDER!! This is all MY OPINION and it's not meant to upset anyone! You should pull for the characters that YOU enjoy playing as, not what some tier list a UA-camr makes lol That said, I get asked a lot on what characters are good and worth pulling, and since I have them all, I thought this would be a good video to make as a guideline! @@Blinkmeow don't sweat it bro. He does really good dmg, you just have to get a hang of his playstyle. Play him with xiangling and benny and you'd be wrecking mobs in no time.

Finally, someone is realistic about Ayato. He’s a powerful unit with consistent damage, no tricky mechanics, no finnicky timing…just straight to the point

Kokomi was the best pull I've ever made for my account - and I say that as a Day 1 Kazuha appreciator. Kokomi does it all. She can heal, she can contribute to Perma-Freeze teams, her burst's ability to allow you to walk on water helps with exploration, she's insanely cheap to build, and she's a cracked DPS if you're willing to invest into that build. No, seriously, I regularly hit 10k per auto on her burst with my Kokotaser team. It's to the point where I completely understand why she can't crit. Because she would be completely broken otherwise - even more so than Zhongli. Can you imagine Sukokomon if she could crit?
Every Koko main I know has at least three sets for her because of how versatile she is. Support and healing? ToM set and TTDS. Boom. Done. DPS? Get a Clam set and Prototype Amber and watch things die. Dendro application? Little more complicated to build but not hard at all. She's probably the only character I have that I've never gotten bored with for this reason. If I don't want to play DPS!Koko anymore I'll just go support. Don't want support? Time for EM. Etc, etc, etc. She just feels so good to play and I encourage everyone to at least consider pulling for her even if you don't want or need a healer. She's so much more than that.

Agreed. She was my first and for a long time only 5* and she carried me through most of the game.
Along with everything you have mentioned, she can also pretty much tank every and any single hit and immediately heal herself + the whole team up, which is super helpful for both beginners when you don't know the boss attacks yet and for end game in the abyss spiral (espeeecially against corrosion). With her on the team, no one will ever die.
And another reason I love her for exploration is she essentially negates any enviromental dangers. Sheer cold in dragonspine and no heat source nearby? Kokomi heals faster than the cold can kill you. Don't even bother about getting Electrogana in the electrofog in Tatarasuna. Took fall damage? Eh, whateve The floor is lava/ice (Dvalin, Signora, Scara bosses)? Just ignore it. You will never need food again.
Kokomi can't crit, but she can do pretty much everything else.

@@shemage5932 Yep! Use her burst then try to go into a pond/the ocean/ a deep river. You'll walk until the burst is done.
For Tartaglia you should his E for about 9 seconds then switch back. Once you have the timing down he is just incredible
In Yelan's case, her being a glorified Xingqiu is what sealed the deal for me. I always have the dilemma of needing Xingqiu on both halves of the Abyss. And with Yelan, I have that dream happen. Not to mention that them together is very good. :)

Yelan at c0 c1 and c6 is commonly believed to be the BEST among all peers at the same constellation in the cn hardcore playerbase
I was also having a dilemma cause botg halves need xingqiu so I pulled yelan. And now I am running double hydro hutao XD

Yoimiya was my first ever five star and i did not regret ONE BIT pulling for her.
1. Easy to play
2. Amazing personality
3. Drippy
4. Does good dmg against bosses

I got Yoi right before sumeru came out, she was going to be my first full investment 5* so I wanted to make sure I was making the right choice but everywhere I looked for answers I was only met with “Hutao better” or “not bad but Hutao better” and I almost didn’t pull for her bc it’s not like i didn’t like Hutao but I was having trouble clearing the game bc Keqing wasnt cutting it anymore and at the time Hutaos rerun was NO WHERE in sight so, C2R1 Yoi later, and now i gotta put my girl away bc she just kills everything too damn fast😮💨 and aside from having to get to Inazuma she’s soooo friendly to build. No regrets, Yoimiya best girl.
She is definitely good, if only I could get my Yunjin to C6 and get Zhongli next time, but for the meantime I'm just vibing with hutao

Yeah I needed a better fire bow user and got Yoimiya, she's drastically underleveled at 70 in my current world level 7 and she straight up carries my team
Actually she is fun to use for me, because I usually don't like archers, but she just doesn't need to aim and hits her best amount of damage.
She is my double crowned queen with R5 Rust, and she deals a lot better than my C1 Diluc in the Abyss now-a-days.
I love that I pulled for Itto and Zhongli, like, that team literally ignores all incoming damage, is like playing in god mode even in spiral abyss

The fact that a normal enemy literally can't kill the players is an incredibly bad design decision and no amaunt of corrosion wolf bandaid will ever fix it. 😓
God I love Zhongli, there's no wonder he ends up in so many recommended team comps. I've been trying to build a cracked Noelle since I love the potential of her design, but Itto seems like a better Noelle in almost every way and I'm considering saving up for him.

Yae miko is underrated af 😭 it may not seem much but her ggravated damage is really good nowadays. She'a of my hardest hitting and most consistent aggravate reaction on my team. With an on field nahida, they synchronize really well, I don't even need to use her ult. Would at least put her on mid A.
If you have constalations, the auto targeting helps too... it's hard to accept but if i didn't have her at c3 i probably wouldn't liek her as much either. She has great constalations tho.

I am a Miko stan. Ever since i got her my life was so easy. She can atleast hit 20k with her ult and as for i am a persone that hits very little numbers that a lot to me. She was pretty hard to build tho. Even tho i needed to skip scaramouch for her so yea im kinda mad at this but still! she is amaizing so yea!
Mine's turrets hit harder than my Xiao on ult 😂
She kills enemies in seconds. I don’t understand why some people have the audacity to think she’s overrated in any way, literally everyone shits on her.
Ngl, Ayaka is ridiculously strong that I don't really use her anymore because everything just becomes easy mode for me. 😭
My current build for Ayaka so far is 2pc Blizzard Strayer + 2pc Atk% with Jade Cutter.
She's currently sitting on 60+% crit rate and 230+% crit damage and she just wrecks everything on her path. ✨
I had to bench her as well. My game is 100x easier with ayaka + zhongli

My Ayaka is at 65/205, Raiden at 52/170, Yelan at 60/160, Ayato at 52/200, Nahida and Zhongli at 50/145 CR/CD, etc. None of them have any 5* weapons.
I can 36* Abyss without issues. It all boils down to your team comps and artifacts. You don't have to be a whale.
I love Ayaka, she is just to way to OP.

Yoimiya... Just pulled her and regretted not pulling for her on her 1st banner. She is so easy to use its crazy. Sure... she doesn't put out big pp numbers but its very consistent and just melts everything.
i remember so many people hating on her but i loved her playstyle and personality ,, so glad shes getting the love she deserves
Your opinions are based enough, the important part is that you explained your thought process behind each pick so that people with different opinions understand you better.
Dunno if you've tried it but the Miko/Tighnari pairing is very good, they compliment each other's field times and leave room for plenty of flex options to support either or both of them.
Also, now that we have Nahida, Yelan's hydro application being less than XQ actually enables her to be a pretty good quickbloom enabler, since her burst lasts 15 seconds, and comes off cooldown faster than XQ. If I get Yelan, I'd love to try Nahida/Yelan/Beidou/Kuki and Cyno/Nahida/Yelan/Kuki

Finally someone who understands the Hu Tao/Yoimiya thing. Just because Hu Tao does more damage doesn’t always make her better, she’s kinda hard to play especially on mobile and Yoimiya is just a lot more unga bunga
It's more like a preference thing. This is a C0 tierlist too so that puts Hu Tao lower. For damage, Hu Tao would win by a landslide but she needs very high skill to use unlike Yoimiya who is very comfy to use. I agree Yoimiya is underrated though.
Reason why hu tao is better than yoimiya is because of her aoe and her burst also hits hard alongside with her charged attacks
@@Violate.. The thing is you gotta also compare the material saving. All you gotta put on Yoimiya is Rust, 4pc Shim and NA and Skill. No constellations needed. Hu Tao would have to run on a crit weapon most of the time, you have to upgrade all her talents and she's limited in enjoyability until you get C1. You also have to be careful since most of the time she'd be at low HP for a pyro dmg bonus. Big nuke damage isn't everything and with the right supports, Yoimiya can hit hella hard.

@@pocketstraw7310 but all you need for Hu Tao is 4pc Shime (if you have crimson domain) and a White Tassel (DBane can also work) and she would hit harder. Yoimiya has a very major AoE isssue which Hu Tao also has but it's not as bad as hers. You actually don't need to up the burst talent of Hu Tao if you are using Shime (You can't burst anyway). Going low is not an issue with Hu Tao unless you are very very bad at team building and dodging (bruuhh don't tell me you still die with a Xingqiu and a shielder on your team). Saying Hu Tao "needs" C1 is a stretch. She can work fine at C0, it's just that you chose to play the easier version of her so you feel the need to get C1. It's for quality of life (Don't tell me you need to dash even when protected with Xingqiu and Zhongli). She can deal 50k CA vapes constantly with just White Tassel and With the right supports, Hu Tao will obliterate everything in her path EVEN at C0. It's just a preference thing. Can you play a hard hitting character that's kinda hard to play or you want a very laid back and very easy character to use. They are practically the same in the other aspects you talked about
I almost would nudge Yalen into S Tier. Unlike most archers, her dash ability makes her great in close up situations and for getting away from incoming damage. And like Yoimiya, you pop her burst and just unload auto attacks, this pairs really well with other bursts like Beidou's or Yoimiya's. I don't think you can go wrong with Yalen on your team.
yelan was the hardest imo, i love her very much, but i think xing can do well too for a lot of players as well. so IMO, i think shes someone who you can pick up on a rerun but man, shes probably high a low s for me its tough
@@Doro44c Well I guess Xing is a 4 star s tier and yelan is a 5 star s tier. :D Also I think Ayato is an 5 star s tier. The amount of damage wich he can deal with his "E" in seconds, without a big Ulti cooldown is sooo amazing! Also Ayato is very good as DPS but also as Burst DPS for characters like Ganyu. Well I think you can clearly see who are my faves charas are. :D #hydromain
@@Doro44c Yelan is not xingqiu, Yelan looks like xingqiu but her damage alone is comparable with all best DPS so in top of being xingqiu, she does A LOT OF DAMAGE

I understand why you put Childe in B tier, not everyone will like his playstyle especially the cooldown on his E. I pulled for him since 1.1 and I never regret pulling for him. His riptide ability is soooooooooo satisfying.
Nahida made my life sooo much easier! Her being able to link enemies was a game changer 'cause I don't have a crowd controller and I was using Cyno as my main DPS. He's alright on his own especially with his ult but with Nahida there, I didn't need to worry so much about missing enemies.
Also, clearing Oceanid is a breeze tho I didn't try it with Cyno. My current team comp is Nahida, Yae Miko, Barbara, and Layla. Weirdly enough, Barbara became my main on-fielder because she's the one triggering bloom/hyperbloom while Nahida's mark and Yae's turrets do their thing. The damage amazes me every time cause none of them are built to their full potential. I'm barely two months into the game and f2p as well.
Nahida was a must for me after her birthday trailer (i was originally going for Yoimiya only), but since then the whole game has become a playground for me. I remember before her and her reactions, I used to struggle a lot with everything. Not anymore. I'm thankful for Hoyo bringing her out the way they did
I'm at the stage of the game where I have very little primos left to farm and have to skip banners and calculate who I pull and don't pull for, so this is very helpful. Thank you! 😁

FINALLY someone who recognizes yoimiya's true potential. she was my first 5 star and i got her and thundering pulse in 2.8, and her c1 in 3.2 and i've mained her since ar 35. she's insane with my xingqiu and bennett and i can't believe how underrated she is. plus she's adorable and has the cutest personality ♥
I can understand the argument of Yoimiya being super easy to play and more mobile friendly, but she's still just outright objectively weaker than Hu Tao in terms of actual damage output assuming both are played properly. Also Yelan is absolutely S-tier; while it's true that she's largely replaceable by Xingqiu, they also have great synergy together anyway and there are so many teams which would want either of the two which you could then run simultaneously so there's always great value in pulling her regardless. Other than that I think this is a pretty reasonable list
Hutao's damage isn't that much different than yoimiya, not to mention the stamina problems if you don't have c1

Hu tao burst does more damage and even without considering the the stamina she does more than her without the charged attack. But Yoimiya is more easy to play and build.
Forget about comparison of Yoimiya to HuTao. There is just no way Yoimiya is a must-pull like the other characters he placed on S-tier. also, there is no way Yoimiya is in the same S-tier league of Kazuha & Raiden. Putting Yoimiya on S-tier was too much subjectivity weaved around such decision.
Sunfire jean is good but if you combine benny burst + jean burst and razor burst you get pyro swirl and overload explosion

I have been a Klee main since her first banner, and I totally understand why she's a pass. Not sure if I would pull for her if I didn't have her, but she definitely feels less clunky the more you're used to her! I still use her in spiral abyss and with Kazuha they clear everything so fast 🙌

I recently got her in 2.8 and I def agree with her being clunky. Once you get used to her she’s much better and her dmg is also great. But I can see why a lot of ppl skip and I can DEFINITELY see why she isn’t meta lol
Same!! I still use her in spiral abyss. With Zhongli, kazuha and another reaction applicator(usually Yae). And I don’t even try to aim cause Kazuha brings enemy together anyways 😊

Klee has dmg, but her major problem is not the "clunky" game stile, but the fact she is a catalist user. This mean you can't user her in every situation like the top tier dps because she does only pyro dmg, meaning she is useless vs enemies immune (or with high res) to pyro. That is the only reason why i switched my Klee with Yoimiya, even though my Klee does more dmg.

I think that Yelan is definitely an S-tier character since Xingqiu was already S-tier in my opinion. Otherwise very nice tier list.🔥
Great list, but remember that this game is pretty easy, and has little competitive aspects to it, and you can go at your own pace. Therefore, pick a character you actually like not because they are good.

Oooh. I'm somewhat new to Genshin so I'm not too sure who to pull for sometimes. I've been really lucky to be blessed by getting Cyno and Nahida along with their 5 star weapons.
With that said -- sometimes the guides and tier lists don't really explain the why in details, they're just *this rank*. So, this is a nice video to have!

Happy to see Yoimiya in S tier as I main her! She's SUPER beginner and F2P friendly, and absolutely SHREDS bosses. She's also absolutely adorable and really fun to play. She was my first five star and made the game so much easier you have no idea. She's currently low investment as I haven't reached Inazuma yet, but I WILL triple crown her some day.
I have been using Diluc since the beginning and he is my fav character. I guess it just depends on how you like to play. I LOVE to yeet all the enemies haha it's so satisfying and he kills them all in one go no need to run after them, it will never get old hahaha

It's hard to see your favorite character get hated and put in the bottom every time and being treated as if there is no one loves her, for literally no reason!
She heals a lot, she does good off-field damage with clam set, and she is one of the best characters in co-op!!

It’s amazing, finally someone that shares 99% of my opinions. I don’t care about theorycrafting, Yoimiya is S tier in my heart. Also I agree Jean is underrated and tighnari is a lot of fun to play and people looked down at him because he went to the standard banner after 1 patch
Kazuha is my first 5* and he's been an amazing support to my newbie, f2p acc... by carrying my whole team on his back. I know that he's not supposed to be a DPS, but his burst and skill are like a "kill" button. Don't regret pulling on him.

As a Nilou main i think she's a solid low A. She does well enough in vape and freeze surprisingly. Also on field Nilou is gorgeous lol
I've had fun with a Kuki, Nilou, Heizou team :) lots of swirls and punching lol
the thing is nilou team comp is limited, bcs her pasive only allow her to be on bloom team (ofcourse she can be put at every comp u want tho)

The fact that every archon is in S tier except for Venti brakes my heart 💔 I love Venti hes my first 5* and my favorite character he might not be able to suck in big enemies but hes really good in domains and the first floors of spiral abyss i understand why you put him in A but i think he deserves S but thats just my opinion so its fine your list is pretty accurate and i agree with most of the characters
When you pull Yoimiya, she dosent becnome your main, SHE BECOME YOUR LIFE.

I'll put Yae Miko on A/Bnow, she now can do aggravate team, hyperbloom team, and even hyper electro team with Raiden and even superconduct team with Eula. About the energy issue just use battery and once you burst the phase on spiral abyss is clear because his burst didnt have ICD it means that you can aggravate 4 times which mean its a NUKE damage haha. But I agree that she is not a must pull. Just my opinion :D

Honestly the only thing that brings Yae down in tiers for me is that she's one of the characters that REALLY requires hyper investment. I'd almost say her C1 is a necessary pull given how it basically solves her energy issues. Just for that alone it pulls her down for me. If only because I really don't want to encourage Hoyo to make other 5* like her where you need to spend more money to get around some of the character's issues.
Makes me sad though because I definitely love her. She's at C2 for me right now and with her ER issues fixed she's become one of the better pulls I've ever made. Right behind Kokomi and Kazuha.
@@CeruleanRogue I completely heare you but i believe that C1 is just a quality of life honestly. Besides her kit doesnt really revolve around her Ult. Imagine, all her Constellation buffs including her 60% defense ignore doesnt apply to her ULT. So getting her to C1 as you mentioned is not really necessary for her main purpose which is an off field DPS. The only downside i see with her is her inability to have i-frames while casting her E. Plus having to recast it after doing her Ult is very repetitive. But overall her damage with the right build can really slap.
Mine as of the moment C0 Yae with Gilded and Nahida deals 40k Aggravate. And does 60k Aggravate each tick of her burst.
But i do hope to have her on C6. So far for me she has made my Genshin life so much easier being a very strong AFK unit LOL. Also really good with Electro-charged reactions even before Dendro reactions came along.
as a Klee Main I have a different opinion, but I respect yours of cause. I spend many hours to build my Klee and now she crits 25k-30k on every charged shot und destroyes everything! I totally love and adore her
I can agree that Kokomi is a good healer I feel like people need to like try her and like understand that she’s like not horrible, I’m really glad that more people use her now though and she’s really fun to use
Also she's a cracked on field DPS if you give her the Clam and Prototype Amber. My Koko regularly hits for 10k per auto when her burst is up and when paired with my Fischl, Beidou, and Kazuha taser team she basically jsut melts everything. It's why I kinda understand why she can't crit. If she could crit like every other character on top of being a heal bot and amazing hydro applicator she'd be more broken than Zhongli.

I'm with most of the chat on Childe, he's an A tier for me. My Ayato is stronger on his own compared to my Childe, but when I play with a team (I personally play International Childe, which has easy rotations and versatile for most enemies. And National team is also great and really F2P), he is stronger than my Ayato. Also Childe is the quickest Hydro applicator in the game so far, so vaporize is really amazing with him. Ayato on the other hand, is really really easy to play with and can do nice job even without teams. So I love both of them and use them for different purposes, but they're both definitely A tier for me

Childe international is better than Ayato international, but honestly Ayato fits better on every other team. Especially good with a hyperbloom team with Nahida and off field electros. In my opinion, Ayato’s the best in field hydro dps for dendro-hydro reaction based teams.

I was using Kokomi since her release and in every spiral abyss I played. Only yesterday when I was casually checking my characters I realized that I hadn't leveled up her talents.
Among the best tier lists I've seen, I'd say Yelan is top of A since she is a second XQ that scales of HP and having another XQ is a no brainer but not a must.
yes, yoimiya is incredibly good, if a beginner player has her and doesn't have rust then slingshot is also a good alternative. I accidentally got c1 and im starting to unbench her after farming some more artifacts
It's interesting when you make it a "should you pull for" tier list because it kind of changes the viewpoint. In my opinion I would throw the best support characters in S because they are versatile and that's normally more important when you're looking to save primos due to the nature of spiral abyss buffs changing around the "meta element". Then I would put like one of each element DPS in A tier because they are the best DPS of their respective element. And Niche characters I would D tier because unless you're running main DPS Ayaka/Ganyu you really wont use a Shenhe.
My list of "what should you pull for" is very different than "what is the most fun" or "what is my favorite" and I actually think that's pretty neat when it comes to Genshin. You can make an argument for almost every character.
Nahida, thoma, xingqiu, kazuha. Ik thoma is universally known as terrible but he does so well in the burgeon team it’s crazy. The only issue is a lack of healing but if you stick kokomi in there instead of xingqiu then you’re golden. I personally am not fortunate enough to have kokomi tho.
Good vid. Problem with tier lists is it is based on playstyle. All the characters are worth pulling but find the playstyle you enjoy and base pulls off that. For an idea 3 of your S ranks are my biggest regrets and no it's not Yoimiya I think she is worth. The others I find once I hit Friendship 10 I have never used them for anything. My must pulls are in the B tier here. I love how you chose to explain your ideas. Again I think all the 5 stars are worth if it matches whatever playstyle you find fun.
exactly, lets be honest, most 5 stars are worth pulling, theyre 5 stars for a reason lol but not everyone can do that! At the end of the day, pull for who you like and enjoy!

As a new Itto main, high A is exactly where he should be. He does a ton of dmg but is Geo (mono build is ideal) and relies a bit more on having Gorou for full potential. Thankfully I got Gorou to C3 with Itto's banner!

Mona is honestly an A. Before Kokomi she was the premier hydro applicator for freeze teams, and just because she's hydro that makes her good (as most hydros in this game are great and you'd want at least one on each side of abyss). She's an amazing dmg buffer and I wouldn't mind getting more cons for her if I lose my 50/50s.
Furthermore, Yelan is easily an S tier. Xingqiu is an amazing unit and she's basically an upgraded 5 star Xingqiu so I can't understand why she's not an S tier. She's an amazing off-field DPS and if you ask me which Hydro 5 star character you should go for, I'd definitely say pull for Yelan.
EDIT: For those confused, I'm not saying Yelan is a must pull. I'm just saying that Yelan is a definite S tier no matter how you look at it. Xingqiu is by far one of the best off-field sub DPS and hydro applicators in the game and is definitely without a single doubt an S tier unit. Therefore, Yelan, who is just an upgraded version of Xingqiu with better scaling and provides more dmg buffing, should also be considered an S tier unit.
i love yelan dont get me wrong, shes one of my favorite units, but i think with xing in the game, for a lot of players, it makes her not a must pull and you can get away with a well build xing. If he didnt exist, i would think shes an absolute must pull but again, all my opinion!
@@Doro44c Yelan at C0 she is better than Xinqui and she is even better with him. Strongest single target dps team atm is Hutao, Xinqui, Yelan. Also speaking by that logic there is not a must pull in the game. Zhongli is not Bis in any team for example. For new players that aim for easy abyss clears they need, Raiden /for Rational/, Kazuha/grouping/ and maybe Nahida and Yelan because you need in fact sometimes 2 Xinqui.
@@ixirion i have both yelan and xingqiu and yes, yelan is better than xingqiu, but if u alrdy have xingqiu, he's pretty much a budget yelan, especially for f2p players who wants other characters, yelan wouldnt exactly be a must pull for them unless they rlly want/like her
@@Kayuumi there is not a must pull whatsoever :) you can clear perfectly fine with Sucrose national on one side and Dendro MC, Barbara, Beidou Fischl. And even if you for example clear floor 12 with only 3 star you are missing 2400 primos per year... thats 15 pulls per year. So the worst decison you can make is pull a char just to 9 star floor 12. That aside the most broken 5 star chars atm are Nahida, Raiden, Kazuha, Yelan. They open or improve so many teams and/or much better than alternative and aslo very easy to play.
@@Kayuumi It depends, i mean if u play a team that needs better hydro aplication for vape/freeze Xingqiu is over her, if u need a little more dmg and u dont care about hydro, or u dont rlly need reacrions on that team comp, then yes, u can say Yelan is better, BUT, because of those i said above, she is not a must pull, because xq exist and u dont rlly need another one but worst in hydro aplication, Yelan is kinda mid because she can be replaced with a 4 star(at C6 xq is just better).
Tier list is good but never forget proper team and god tier artifacts can get you everywhere(may the rng gods bless everyone)
Miko is fantastic. A lot of people miss one big part of her playstyle. You can drop her skill in a line to gap close and then swap to a dps. Yes you mite only put up level 2(3) turrets, but they still do great damage and apply electro.
This list was fair, I agree mostly on everything. I have and have tried most of these characters on my veteran account vs my noob repull account. I must say this is very accurate to my personal experience as well starting over as a beginner vs veteran. I must say Tighnari is A tier. He is surprisingly good and easy to build, free to play friendly if not the best but is one of the best bow users or trackers in game. Sumeru's best tour guide, loosing 50/50 to him is a blessing, to those who didn't pull on his banner and he is great at c0. Give him em and God tier dendro cup boost his atk‰ slap on a String less or atk bow and go to town. His "E" is like a smoke screen that helps you get away from enemies, too bad there isn't a hold option to aim it exactly where you want it but the tap target ai is pretty good and aoe is a decent size. You can use him outside of dendro teams also😆👌

No matter how many 5* I can have, Ayaka will always be my main and only triple crowned character on my account
I will forever defend yoimiya with everything I've got. I used my guaranteed to pull for her during nahidas banner and I did not regret it. Her and yelan are the only bow characters I planned to pull for since they are so easy to use. Personally, I use her along with Bennett, xingqui and zhongli in the spiral abyss, and she's sooooo good, hoyoverse really does her dirty with her banners. Now, as an ayaka main, I am certain im going to pull for shenhe since I've seen so many people say she gives an incredible damage boost to ayaka plus I have her guaranteed and I'm at 45 pity all I have to do is get enough primos for her :')
I feel like people sleep on Mona because she ruins ur pity. If you build her correctly, she can majorly help your team. I have her with Bennett, Sucrose, and Beidou and i can say she’s a great help on my team, with her E attack allowing me to hit enemies and her sprint and application being very helpful for Beidou and even Bennett.

Genshin gameplay is really simple. Sooner or later you get bored just having to spam some buttons. So I feel like characters like Klee and Childe, who are a bit harder to play, make the game more fun because you actually have to put a tiny bit of effort in while playing

Tartaglia is literally like playing 2 characters in one.....

Childe international is the best DPS with lowest cost in the game
It's bad to say this, but... up to Inazuma, Genshin was almost a straining game to play. The ronin enemies there hit hard, they smacked me around, and I had to stop doing Archon quests for a while just to level and gear up more. Then... there was Zhongli's most recent rerun.
The game went from night to day.
Overall, this is a solid list. Although, Personally, I would put Yoimiya and Hu tao on the same tier, I would put Ganyu on S tier(that A rank made me angry. After all, Ganyu was my seconed 5 star), but it what it is. For me, Tartaglia is easy A. I have him and Ayato, and I really love both of them. Otherwise, I agree with you. It hurts me that I have to skip Itto, but it is what it is. I'm saving for Xiao, Hu tao, Nahida(in her Future rerun), Cyno, Nilou, Yelan and Al haitham. Although, I really do want everyone. I'll see who I'll get next.
I started playing genshin during kokomi's first banner and got her as my first five star.
She is still in my team. Like you said if you are a new player you WILL NOT DIE if she's in your team.
I'd say Childe is A, only cuz:
1. He's mechanically difficult to master
2. You need to invest in fully-built supports/sub DPS (since his damage lies in reactions)
3. Excels in clearing out mobs
Ayato's easier to use on his own + he deals more consistent damage (Yes, I own both).

Itto was my first five star that I randomly got on my second ever ten pull in this game in 2.8. And definitely A tier, mine is at Lv 60, almost no max artifacts, and he can still take on Lv. 80+ domains
this is the only tier list that i almost completely agree with
I actually pulled specifically for Cyno. Part lizard brain, but mostly because I really wanted that electro DPS and he is SO much fun to play for me. Zhongli I pulled for as well, I love him so much. Diluc C1 and Kazuha are another two I use often, hecking love Kazuha. Unfortunately standard banner hates me and I am yet to get Xingqiu for that team :(
Lost my Cyno 50/50 to Mona, that was annoying. Maybe I'll build her one day.
Edit: I will be pulling for Ayato on his next banner, this has reinforced that wish.

He is f2p friendly but you have to spend a lot of time building him
Finally a good non biased tier list! It's very logical where you put each character and i appreciate the explanation for each character. I'd personally switch up 2 or 3 characters but overall great tier list
I think he is biased for Qiqi. She is terrible. It is actually much worse than her just having healing. She also generates no energy. That is the nail in the coffin for her and makes her unusable even if she had viable teams. Klee is vastly superior if for no other reason that she can generate a lot of energy.
That is the one thing that sticks out to me as terrible and I am a Childe main who is my favorite character along with Kazuha. I could forgive the Childe slander but not Qiqi praise.

This is the first time I see Yelan at A tier. I love Yoimiya but definitely not more universal or better than Yelan, Ganyu or Hu Tao. It is crazy when they always say since there is XQ, Yelan's tier is affected due to that logic.
Remember, im not comparing a 5 star to another one, just them as they are! IMO, yelan is a tier even though i love her because i dont think shes a must pull especially if you have a well build xing IMO of course!

@Doro44 Shes is SSSS Tier even for everyone, she doesn't need a wepon, can use t3 weapons, she hits harder then xingqiu, she can refills her ult a lot easier than him, she is HP focused so u can use the pieces u judged to be useless, Have sustain cuz she has 36k+ HP, shes is a buffer and can buff up to 50% dmg bonus, can be main dps even at C0, has SS tier exploration and the game is 90% exploration, and stun mobs when doing her E. Her charged, E and her Q does good dmg too

Childe is my first 5 star and only fav character, like everybody says its hard to play but when i started play him as main dps it was soo easy i was enjoying playing him. I got raiden and now it does alot. Sad i dont have constellation on him

Miko is 100% A tier with dendro now. Also chill a little with yoimiya she is A tier and a very good pull but definitely not a must😭. YELAN A NAHHH SHE IS ONE OF THE BEST CHARACTERS IN THE GAME
Zhongli is the most badass character in the game. Dude is like a dripped out invincible Jiraya
honestly, it was similar for me when it comes to Yelan... didn't think I would like her from the trial, but I got her on 2nd account... been running her on freeze team with Xingqiu, Rosaria and Ayaka.... and i'm having SO much fun... I can even swap Xingqiu for yanfei for tasty melts....
Also ppl who don't appreciate Kokomi and Yoimiya clearly don't know what they're doing...

Honestly, if Ayato wasn't going up on the same banner as Raiden Shogun, I'd pull for him in a heartbeat. Also it was funny how you were like "If you lose your 50/50 to ________, don't be upset honestly" and goes on to say that for every single standard character lol
Diluc is Very Good but very Hard to Build, he requires a perfect Weapons(Redhorn/R3 Serpent's Spine/WGS/R5 Rainslasher) and a Very Good Crimson(atleast 60/160 Crit Rate). I have Redhorn(R1) on him and a 70/248 Crit Ratio on him and he's almost equally as Strong as my C1 Hu Tao(R2 Homa) that has 70/263 Crit Ratio.
Diluc's Damage Output is S Tier but building him is D Tier while Hu Tao's Damage Output is S Tier and building her is SSS Tier, very easy to build. So I put Diluc in B tier.
