    I used to not like that this was the soviet victory song in HLL, but every time I win as the Russians I grow more and more attached to it. I still think the soviet anthem would’ve been better, but this is a certified bread line classic. The red army quire never ceased to make a banger. Something about overwhelming amounts of brass instruments along with deep and powerful vocals, much like over there or Erika and other marching songs make anyone feel patriotic

    • @Falkriim
      @Falkriim Місяць тому +1

      I prefer this over the Soviet Anthem being used. It would be too cliche, y’know. This is my favourite victory song in HLL. Just something about 2:00 - end that is so motivating and uplifting as you say.
      I’m not a big fan of Erika being used for Germany. It is too cliche, and such an overrated song. I’d die happy if I never have to hear that abysmal song again.

      My ancestors in russian empire were farmers and had no human rights at all. Landlords treated peasants as animals or slaves, could sell them or offer as a stake in a card game. Factory workers of russian empire had their working day 12 hours long.
      So i kinda grateful to bolsheviks and Lenin that he made my grangrandparents free from imperial slavery and gave them human rights, like 8-working day for example, ability to aquire education and medication for free.
