I remember how much Shane loved his grandmother. It makes me teary seeing Theresa cry over Jet and Max. There’s something about the love of a grandmother ❤
As a new mom myself, I felt when Shane said “I could sleep for 2 years, but guess what? We can’t!” 😂 Man I miss a good long sleep but the love for your babies keeps you going

You boys are doing great. I am 58, but my daughter was the ultimate Shane fan and I watch all of your videos on her behalf because she is so excited about your life now. First of all, she met Shane at a book signing, and we are still talking about how nice he was to her. Next, I have watched your vlogs over the years because I can relate and find them entertaining. When she told me you would be dads, I wanted to watch because I am a mom of 3. I get it!. But the two of you are killing it. It's hard but so worth it. Hang in there.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. I would never have been able to when my boy was this age and I only had the one baby. Saying that, I still don’t think I’d be able to now and he’s 15! 😂

I don't know why more people don't adopt. There's a need for good people to love and adopt kid who need homes but unfortunately it seems like alot of shallow abusive types are attracted to adoption.🤷
Adoption is also quite expensive but that's the route we are trying to take now. We own our house but live on fixed incomes is enough to provide a loving home and that Is all I want. I don't need them to be my blood. Just want to nurture and love a child the needs it

Ryland, the way you look at your boys just melts my heart. Love watching Shane and yourself navigate parenthood. You are both so talented, so creative but you were born to be Dads. You both have that natural nurturing trait and nothing online has made my heart smile more than watching the two of you on your journey to build your family. These boys will never know anything but love and acceptance with an amazing family behind them.

I highly recommend never stressing about keeping a schedule - follow your own and your babies' intuition and go with the flow. Babies are not machines they are individuals with ever changing needs.
In regards to sharing schedules, what works for one baby will most likely not work for another so be careful when looking at other parents' schedules.

Exactly! Treat them like a person not a machine. I had to learn that a schedule might not always work out and that's okay.
Yeah! It's just like how some people prefer jobs with a persistent and predictable schedule, while others prefer working flexible jobs or they get bored.
So happy someone said this! This is definitely a first time parent thing. Wait till they start cluster feeding and go from 3 hour intervals and into every hour. Then the 4 month, 9 month, 12 month sleep regressions. Wheeeeew.
I think it depends. I follow a schedule to a tee with my son but I give milk on demand. It’s the perfect combo for us.

I had such a strict schedule with my twins, literally down to the point that they pooped at the same time as each other. It's so fun seeing how other twin parents handle the newborn stage lol but with my third I really learned to let go and have a schedule that fit around his liking and the same for my fourth. You guys are doing great!🥰

lt’s so crazy to see how much Shane has changed, I’ve been here for 11 years, I used to get the feeling that Shane didnt love himself very much at all and, in the past few years it really feels like hes growing alot, he seems so confident and wholesome and it really suits him. Ryland you have been such a positive person in his life, he’s really lucky to have you. And you’re both amazing dads, it’s really nice to have known you both for this whole journey all the way from the drunk boyfriend tag to Jet and Max :) Different lifestages but I’ve definitely grown up with you both.. I was 7, yes SEVEN years old when I found Shane. So, I have known you for almosttt as long as he has. I’m turning 18 in 5 days and I feel ready for life now honestly, so thank you both so much.

It’s so funny how two siblings can have such different personalities. Being parents the first 6 months u are in the trenches!😂. It does get easier I promise. You guys are doing so amazing and are such amazing Dads. They’re both so lucky to have such devoted and loving parents.

Can I say as a daycare teacher I am so happy that you guys have a schedule for the babies you do not know how much that will make your life easier as they grow up and if they ever need to be with nannies it makes it easier for the nannies and it does not put any stress on the babies. You guys are amazing for this😊
