Honestly this was so relatable especially when you guys were talking about how dentistry should be for you and like you couldn’t really think about any other profession as you’ve only thought of dentistry for the longest time. Id also like to add some more pieces of advice for anyone aspiring to study dentistry. The first thing would be to Master Time Management as it can become overwhelming at times so if you develop this skill early on, it’ll help you balance academically and also your own personal life. And one more would be to obviously Take Care of Your Health. I struggled with that one a lot especially at first since I would have really poor sleeping habits and I wouldn’t be eating as much as I should be, but long hours in dental school and clinical practices can be very challenging, so taking care of yourself, making sure you take all your vitamins and all the minerals your body needs is crucial. AND DRINKK WATERRR!!! Okay I’ll stop here before I get too carried away 😭 but yeah, if you want to become a dentist, you guys should follow your dreams, if not, I wish you all the best!! Again, thank you Taemin and I can’t wait for your next video!!
I love how you implemented different perspectives to answer the questions instead of just answering alone! This way, the answers/advice are unbiased, pertain to many unique situations, and are credible since they are another person's outlook on the question.

I’m not actually into a med stream but your videos just give a shot of motivation of some sort I can’t really explain. I guess it’s just that no matter what career path you’re on, all you have to do stay locked in and never look back. this video is just so comforting: the cozy editing, the places shown, the good people, it all warms my heart. its really nice to see someone do what they want and look happy doing it, yet still being honest about the hardships and hurdles of it all; its very much motivating and inspiring. i find it very relatable that you chose to opt for dentistry even if you have a certain passion for art. i’ve had my fair share of doubts, but ultimately decided to follow my passions by studying music performance. i’m still in that process of finding my plans for the future… i’ll make it work tho^_^. nevertheless, by the looks of your living habits, your academic discipline, and the strong relationships you’re able to maintain with your friends and family despite your introvertedness, i’m sure you’re definitely going to achieve that stability you strive for, heck it already seems like you’ve reached it. thank you taemin for letting us have a little glimpse into your world, and i cant wait for more videos to come!

I just realized that every time I watch your videos I'm filled with this urge and motivation to do better and not give up. If you're already considering dentistry as a career path, I would advise to seek OMFS instead. It's already a long road but both start on the same road and although surgery is slightly longer, the demand and earning potential are much higher. One thing people forget or overlook, is what specialty are you going into? and how do you plan to stand out from the rest? Because general dentistry is generally for people who are willing to find a job in rural areas based on demand.
