The bloodthirsty Halloween anthem I never knew I needed SO badly, and I'm beyond happy it dropped right before I fly to Ireland to see our beloved witch finally enchanting their very own Emerald Isle!🧛♂️⛥🎃⛥🧛♀️ Even before watching this colourful masterpiece of a video, just looking at the thumbnail already makes me smile like a lunatic, as it evokes so many childhood memories and totally fits the vibrant yet spooky vibe of the song - and who else than our endearing Darklings could ever be more deserving of being a part of this fancy vampire extravaganza?!?! Looking at the visuals in combination with the music - which is kinda reminiscent of the early 2000's if I'm honest - creates an entirely new escapist world within our reality, within a reality that is way too often much bloodier than any monster could ever be. And that is exactly why the coven desperately needs witchy bangers like this, to celebrate our togetherness, solidarity and magical joy within all the darkness! All the artistic perfection and the constant development don't really surprise me anymore, because I would expect ANYTHING from the beautiful soul that rendered the entire world speechless at Eurovision 2024 - but at the same time the perpetual growth leading to the explosion of going on tour with Babymetal next year is filling my heart with "eternal sunshine", as I always knew that Bambie will conquer the world! It's quite evident that the lyrics are much more than just a Halloween singalong, rather a continuation of "Cathexis", but clearly rising above all the heartbreak and pain that was the origin of all the power and uncompromising oomph we're seeing now! I can deeply relate to all these fierce verses, as I've been going through exactly the same situation that crushed my soul and nearly broke me. But in the end it's all about finding ourselves, about exploiting our full potential regardless of what coldhearted human beings do to trample on the most beautiful souls!
