Am I the only one who is directly started prep for mains without even checking answer key? I haven't checked mine because a- I'm scared and b-There are many discrepancies in keys after 2023. Anyways mains prep is required +whether for 2024 mains or 2025 pre) so I've started that.

There is big problem in question regarding hydrogel. I haven't found any specific application of hydrogel in industrial lubricants. Its talking about specifically industrial lubricants, and not biological lubricants in which hydrogel is used. So i think third statement in that question is wrong
Coriolis force is applicable to any non-inertial frame of reference which is rotating ~ centrifugal force. if the question is coriolis effect on wind then the answer would be C. If we talk about coriolis force on some bullet then it’s independent of wind and only depends on velocity of bullet. In general coriolis force is vxR
Coriolis force changes with latitude if we move towards poles it will increase. It doesn't changes with wind, deflection increases with wind. Both are very different. Upsc examiner also knows people will mark both as right. There is no point of giving such cakewalk question. 1 is absolutely wrong statement. If we look at the cyclone that sometimes come near equator in bay of Bengal winds are almost circular that doesn't mean coriolis force is more here than poles. It's just the deflection. Coriolis force is higher in poles but if the wind is not that fast there, there will not be much deflection there

Atleast someone did the proper analysis. I saw many clowns of Poaching Institutes were saying " Questions bohot easy hein isbar " and some more clowns who didn't attempt the actual paper with various exam factors were commenting " kash mein isbar paper de deta" cutoff toh 110-115 jayega. It's very easy to judge sitting in an A.C room then actually attempting such a factual paper.

Good morning sir, as the mains phase begins, I have no clue about note-making for the mains. I watched your earlier videos to get insight into note-making but I am confused about where to cover these topics. I only covered standard books and gave prelims. But, now I am confused if I have to cover other books on the same topics( eg: DD Basu, Upinder Singh, etc.) for the mains or not.
And are there any books to cover topics like - society, security, governance, etc? Or do I need to cover them from online mediums manually by consolidating information from different websites and sources?
If possible then please make a video to guide us in this regard.

Rahul bhai...muje mineral exploration ka territory sector correct lag raha hai...kyonki ye mining se phale ka process hai...aur unacedmy ki answer key me bhi ise sahi mana hai...halanki maine to ise first sector ka man ke hi ..answer tick kiya hai...btw mere aapki answer key se 92.66 number ban rahe hain...aur csat me 72.5 se laekar 82.5 tak answer aa rahe hain....various answer key se like vison ,only ias and unacedmy......baki aage dekho kya hota hai....

In question number 89- first statement bhi galat hoga.. because of "any form".. might be thoda bohot dust effect ya monsoon effect ya koi bhi phenomena hoga hi jb rain ki intensity jada ho skti h.. I guess

Even lion question is disputed I feel. As per google asiatic lions have breeding season from oct-nov but upsc just said “lion “ in the question.
I guess they played with words in that statement . They used "particular" breeding season , which meant the breeding season is fixed and that isn't the case at all. They just have a general breeding pattern over a span of few months.
Corrialolis force is itself a deflecting force . So deflection increase means force increase . Soo simple... Aur north Atlantic north arctic bol rkha h option 2 me . Fir hemisphere kese bolega upsc

Rivers Drain into the red sea. But maybe not they carry significant amount of water.
In case of Board members , it's condition that atleast 1/3rd of them should be indian resident.

RC was vague as hell..i solved 2023 rc in 1hour lst yr.I don't think even upsc knows the rc answers.. torrential rain in nortg east led to power cut in 2nd half.The room was dark fr an hour and teachers were busy arranging things

Lil bit we can say that there will be variations but not much ! If you compared with 4,5 coaching classes then take the avg of them that's it! Don't varry much if you matched with authentic sources!
