Why do some foreigners give everything without knowing more about their partners first. You rush too fast. Haven't you guys learned anything about women in your country. Women are the same all over the world. American women are just to liberal. 😂
I married a young Filipina girl .. 62 and she was 22.. helping the family will usually go with the territory, going on 8 years now, bought a house here for 50 grand I still think I’m far better off than if I had married a toxic , feminist western woman, I keep all my money and assets as well as my house back in the states . a lot of my friends were financially wrecked in divorces , had to sell their house, alimony payments that never end, one guy is still paying out 3500 dollars a month alimony going on 30 years! his ex won’t re- marry bcuz she would lose the money , she shacks up with some loser who sponges off her benefits 😖😖 I’ll take my Filipina wife every day of the week and twice on Sunday over a western woman I can live here at a third the cost with someone who actually RESPECTS a man and knows how to please him..

Hey Alex from Annapolis Maryland, haven't listened to a single video yet LOL but subbed after listening to your two interactions with Paul. I've been married to a Filipina for 33 years
Great advice doing some online dating to meet filipinas and noticed the hot cold and its alot different to American dating in a good way. I have so many matches vs american I only have few. Can wait to move there in a couple years
My approach to finding a spouse was to put a 3 line ad on Facebook saying what you want with a picture. Over 700 replied and I picked the best one for me. We've been together for 5 happy years now.
Thanks she's perfect for me. Be careful if you follow the dating advice of vloggers. We may soon be watching your video about dating, pregnancy and STDs.😅
I think you can kinda get into trouble with people outside the dating app because you don't know how they feel about things. I realized I had a disaster going but that I could let things cool off a little bit and everything would probably be alright. That one secret thing sounds like some kinda blackmail thing or people with bad finances grasping at straws or something. I had a person try to blackmail me but I think the lady in question would not have hurt my reputation at all, sorta different from the crimes that get organized extortion crimes from the U.S. .... Crazy sounding but it was almost a relief a reason to smilee...
Extremely rare for a person to learn from a mistake. First they have to accept their error. Much easier to blame others. Second, change takes effort. Not many people are into working on themselves. Most people just like saying spiffy sounding phases like "we learn from mistakes". It makes them feel better so they can go back to making the same mistakes over and over again.
Ah...to young again. My biggest mistake about being in the Philippines was not leaving the US sooner than I did. 😊 Mistake #2 you just let me know about...downloading "maps" for offline use. Thanks Alex.
I like your content but the pace of the dialogue and the constant quick edits wears me down. I often bail before the video ends because the pace is relentless. I hope you will eventually slow down and also allow unedited flow into your vids.

I think the two best resources for dating right now in my humble opinion are old dog, new tricks as you know him personally and number two Ree Kay's Life beyond the Sea. That man is a sage. Best dating advice. I think out there right now as far as filipinas and even just in general, I think he has some good tips for dating abroad in general
I will see your Paul Old Crow and raise you by saying that it is definitely Ree Kay and Fly Me To The Philippines. Chad throws some food for thought out there but he seems a good bit lost and partnered up with Scotty Boy to pursue the young ones unfortunately.
I've followed both for years. I would consider this...when Old Dog started he said "rent, don't buy" and explained land can't be owned by a foreigner so it would be crazy to buy. Today he has bought his Filipina land and is trying to build her a house and living through all the things he warned guys not to do. I like Old Dog but he's still a human. Ree Kay was tops when I first started researching. He got me very excited about Filipinas. As I researched more I became less interested. Today I have almost no interest in Filipinas or having any woman living with me. Women are women. Sharing a home with anyone is filled with compromise. More and more I've seen Ree Kay's advice as more of a simp perspective. Nothing wrong with that if it works. And Filipinas will put up with a simp much longer than women in wealthy countries plus most guys are old so it can work for 10-20 years. But I'd rather not go that route.
@@EasternDreamer615 The only problem is you don't have the charm, charisma and aged wisdom he has. A lot of the people that will watch you are older and you don't know how to to talk to - with them yet. You can get a little preachy and talk at them.
The main thing that you always remind yourself is to be careful dating a married woman who is separated from her husband, because you might be murdered. Keep in mind that there's no divorce in the Philippines, so keep out yourself in a dangerous situation.
Absolutely DO NOT Marry unless you plan to have children together. Which would entail actually building a life together. You may want to check out a few other countries in SE Asia to get a better idea of the "layout", if you havent already.

Carry a piece of paper in your wallet & write down their name as they are walking away. If you forget, even while walking away, ask them, you "so much appreciated meeting them, would it be ok if you can write down their name, & how do they spell it"? I do a funny thing, I say, "did you say Alex"? Is that a-l-e-x? Nice to meet you Alex, I knew an Alex in college, he was a nice Alex, what about you, are you a nice or mean Alex?? Haha! (See that, I said the name six times)
In addition to the 100's of other guys contacting her? I don't really see why 100's of thirsty guys chase women they see in videos. The comments are so sad. But maybe it works. Filipina Pea apparently picked one of these guys out of her comments. Never would have bet that could happen. Maybe because she's getting older?
BS,,you say 80% (Filipino females)are beautiful, ,maybe you have poor judgement of beauty , overweight, short face plain looking,, absolutely NOT TRUE in my experience traveling around over 10 years at most maybe 8% are beautiful
Dude, you aren't old enough to have a pension and you say you are on a modest budget. Unfortunately anywhere in the world young beautiful women are not looking for a younger guy without his financial life figured out and stable. Just facts dude...
My experience has been that some aren’t open to an age gap relationship and have a choice to be alone or with a younger guy with whom they can build. Bud Brown and his wife Gloria are a great example.
Filipinas will always be wary of younger expats who have not really established themselves financially. Yes, they’re looking for financial security. Off the bat, you don’t really look like a good catch 😅
@@ellavalles-c4z that's inline with what I was commenting above, for the benefit of other younger, non-retired dudes who come to the Philippines hoping to find a nice girl....a younger average looking dude often won't do anywhere near as well as middle aged gray haired dude, bc the Filipina assumption is the gray haired guy has a pension/ financial stability or he would back in the west still working. So for younger guys wanting a girl here, get your financial house in order (residual income) and also, you can't move here and take girls on rides in tricycles or jeepneys for dates. The bare minimum for most Filipinas to see u as a success younger guy would be a good job back home / or successful digital nomad, own a nice motorcycle in the Philippines or better yet a car. They don't think about money, status, education and especially future earning potential the same way as the west so you have to play the game from their perspective. I'm not saying you have to drive a bmw or ford raptor, but a nice honda adv 160 or even a nice newer used Toyota sedan... they will assume you have money to take care of them..for most of them only the rich own a decent car or even a Honda adv (3Kusd as opposed to a basic motor maybe 1-1.5k that most Filipinos would own.) if they wanted a bf that would take them on a tricycle or jeepney, they don't need so foreigner for that...just the hard facts... Its a much different place here in so many ways and takes a lot of time in country to learn what u don't know...easy to make assumptions about the people, culture, girls...most I made early on have been wrong learned with time and experience.

Alex i enjoy your videos but I have to take exception with a piece of your dating "advice". IMO you will never date a bunch of Filipinas, the first or second one will snag you and your phone contacts will be investigated. Any other girl's phone number she might find you are in deep shit!
This is so nuts to me. I assume you're joking, but there's a lot reality in there too. #1 How the f&*k is a guy letting a Filipina into his phone? How f&^king weak could a dude be? #2 "First or second will snag you." Yup, super common for dudes going to PH. Already married? OK. Single mom? OK. These dudes have zero standards. I’ve even had older brothers trying to pimp their sisters off to me, 😮I was shocked 😳 when I saw how many women are apparently used by their own families to try and latch onto a foreigner!! of course I have heard that this kind of stuff goes on in the Philippines and a lot of Southeast Asia and to your point, a lot of guys get carried away and rush into a relationship with the first girl they meet. especially when they don’t get female attention in their own country..

Hey Alex from Annapolis Maryland, haven't listened to a single video yet LOL but subbed after listening to your two interactions with Paul.
I've been married to a Filipina for 33 years
That's awesome, good to have you on board! :)
I wonder how Mike is feeling after the score of the OSU-Michigan football game.
Hehehehe
Great advice doing some online dating to meet filipinas and noticed the hot cold and its alot different to American dating in a good way. I have so many matches vs american I only have few. Can wait to move there in a couple years
Thank you :)
My approach to finding a spouse was to put a 3 line ad on Facebook saying what you want with a picture. Over 700 replied and I picked the best one for me. We've been together for 5 happy years now.
That's awesome! Congratulations Cars :)
Thanks she's perfect for me. Be careful if you follow the dating advice of vloggers. We may soon be watching your video about dating, pregnancy and STDs.😅
Hahahaha
I think you can kinda get into trouble with people outside the dating app because you don't know how they feel about things. I realized I had a disaster going but that I could let things cool off a little bit and everything would probably be alright. That one secret thing sounds like some kinda blackmail thing or people with bad finances grasping at straws or something. I had a person try to blackmail me but I think the lady in question would not have hurt my reputation at all, sorta different from the crimes that get organized extortion crimes from the U.S. .... Crazy sounding but it was almost a relief a reason to smilee...
That’s a fair point!
we all get mistake but we all learned from it
Extremely rare for a person to learn from a mistake. First they have to accept their error. Much easier to blame others. Second, change takes effort. Not many people are into working on themselves.
Most people just like saying spiffy sounding phases like "we learn from mistakes". It makes them feel better so they can go back to making the same mistakes over and over again.
Best not to move to any country on the expectation that you will find any good relationship in a short amount of time.
I absolutely agree!
I learned this in mexico (stay in your home mind your own business & let the proper authority handle things)
That's a good idea Michael
Great info and insight, on the Philippines
Thanks, glad you found it helpful!
Good tips
I’m glad you found them helpful!
Don’t Rush it though…just take your Time looking … it’s if means to be well be , if you are looking for a relationship… 🙏✌️👍👍👍
💯 I agree!
Ah...to young again.
My biggest mistake about being in the Philippines was not leaving the US sooner than I did. 😊 Mistake #2 you just let me know about...downloading "maps" for offline use. Thanks Alex.
Thanks for the comment! Yeah those offline maps are a lifesaver.
What does that mean, when you said, "without even having bought a SIM card you can route to the data provider"?
You can use an offline map to visit a data service provider and purchase a data plan
@EasternDreamer615 Thank you for clarifying
The hot and cold tactic is used by many women around the world. Men who try to make women happy will loose every time. Happiness comes from within...
💯
And I like and enjoy your channel.
Appreciate the support!
I like your content but the pace of the dialogue and the constant quick edits wears me down. I often bail before the video ends because the pace is relentless. I hope you will eventually slow down and also allow unedited flow into your vids.
I hear you, I appreciate the feedback and I'll definitely try to incorporate it in the future!
How stupid are some of the vendors ? Increase the price on me ? Not only will I not buy, I'll never buy from that seller again. I'm certain that my attitude is common.
Do you think of yourself as an expat or a traveler?
Expat since I slow travel and try to stick to the same place for an extended period of time. Not an immigrant because I'm not seeking citizenship, not seeking to stay permanently.
Paul has been very good to me.
@@EasternDreamer615 The only problem is you don't have the charm, charisma and aged wisdom he has. A lot of the people that will watch you are older and you don't know how to to talk to - with them yet. You can get a little preachy and talk at them.
That's a fair criticism, thank you for the feedback
The main thing that you always remind yourself is to be careful dating a married woman who is separated from her husband, because you might be murdered. Keep in mind that there's no divorce in the Philippines, so keep out yourself in a dangerous situation.
Be careful dating a married woman???? How about just just not instead?
Be careful trying to pet a wild tiger.
This a great point Ethie
@@EasternDreamer615 Please do so.
Yes, slow down your video. Pause at times, relax and enjoy making your video. It's getting better.
Thanks for the tip :)
Absolutely DO NOT Marry unless you plan to have children together. Which would entail actually building a life together.
You may want to check out a few other countries in SE Asia to get a better idea of the "layout", if you havent already.
I've been to all of them with the exception of Brunei, Indonesia, Laos, and Myanmar. In other words, all of the major ones except for Indonesia.
Dont date and rush into a motel! It's a big no, then after that you decided she is not the right girl! Its big big mistake because you have created bad impressions among the ladies and their families. You will be licky if you are not being followed! You know we believe in Karma! So first you need to befriend the lady. Check their background and date if you are sure!
Brother go to the province and trust in God and your instincts.❤
Great tip, I’ll keep that in mind!
" OH YOU DID IT " You lowered yourself to the leavel of dating coach 😡
LOL
Alex you are great vlogger, one mistake when asking for subscribers , looooong commentary 20 or more , 11 minutes or less will be the easy time to be a watcher
I’ll keep that in mind, thank you!
My girlfriend and most of her family have names you never here in the US hard to pronounce and spell crazy I'm in my 60s but I went online took a cognitive test lol I just joke with my girlfriend and say you know I'm old cause she'll be like you don't remember that my cousins oldest child by her 1st husband( Enolaby) you met at party with 50 people lol
Hehehe thank you for sharing Jerry :)
I find almost none "gorgeous", since muh third eye opened.
That’s a great suggestion!
Alex, Ask Baby Mae to introduce you to Andrea from Siaton.
I met Peanut Girl yesterday
Westerners advising westerners in the comments 😃. Short answer, there is no dating culture in the Phil's, only a courtship culture :)
I've found that to be true, it's a very different way of interacting than in the West!
this is for the introverts😕
True :)
UA-cam Alex is the best
Thank you so much :)
Rejection is protection. Be careful what you wish for, young man. Love is a drug.
Hehehe :)
👋
New here. Good video.
Thanks for coming :)
BS,,you say 80% (Filipino females)are beautiful, ,maybe you have poor judgement of beauty , overweight, short face plain looking,,
absolutely NOT TRUE in my experience traveling around over 10 years at most maybe 8% are beautiful
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The vast majority of these women would get tons of attention in the US.
First off. Wearing long sleeve in paradise. Lol. Thats backwards
Right up until you get sunburned
@EasternDreamer615 thats easy conversation piece. Hi uhhhh. Whats your name? What can i do to heal this sunburn. Lol
Hahaha :)
When I’m going to be out in the sun for a long time, I always wear long sleeves.
Actually in super-sunny, subtropical Southern Japan, I never wear a short-sleeve T-shirt.
@@ellavalles-c4z Are you a catch?
Yes. Graduated from Univ of the Phil’s. I got my masters from Georgetown university in Washington DC and worked for the World Bank. I have a generous pension and a nice brownstone apt with 3 bedrooms. Do you ?
"Oh, here's my phone. Please love me. I'd give you my balls but I never had any."
No worries :)
@@EasternDreamer615 yah, I don’t relate to dating many either I dated for first 3-months and all wanted to move in. Finally I just met a girl that served me pineapple juice and the rest is history. I took her from Lapu2 to BGC and we are happy as clams. Too many choices can muddy the waters. Good looking check, honest check, no kids check. Let’s go ba! :)
I remember one guy commented a while back on if it was difficult to meet a Filipina here. his answer was you won’t have a problem meeting a Filipina, the problem is getting rid of the Filipina 😂😂😂 when I first arrived here I was shocked at how upfront the women were. but it wasn’t the 20 something women I had the older women, particularly 40 and older, would ask “ do you have a lady here”? especially if you were at a hotel staying there, had a few guards want to set me up with their daughter, a policeman even asked me if I wanted to go back to his house when his shift was over to meet his daughter! they all know that if they get a foreigner, especially an older man it is a gold mine for the family and a meal ticket to a better life.
