@@benbird7061 not only that , 9 ah flexvolt yellow/ Black is DeWalts king of the crop which Vince didn't use . It's almost evenly matched to the M18 Forge
Great episode guys! I’ve really missed this. You and Jimmy together are great. Please keep it going. Having a weekly TTR would be epic, but every other week or even once a month would be awesome 👍
Awesome comparison and both drivers are great! Love how the Ridgid 4-mode came In towards the end for a special guest appearance and played referee on those lag bolt tests. Nice job gentlemen!
I love the banter back and forth guys .I am on the Dewalt platform . Years ago I decided to switch to millwakee platform bought m18 hammerdrill / driver kit and the batteries would not charge out of the box it soured me on that brand to switch over all tools way too expensive so I stayed with Dewalt . Have never been disappointed with any other tool brand out of the box like that .
I bought hundreds of tools from all brands except ryobi and luckily never had a fail. I had 1 battery from metabo, 1 skil 40v and 1 Milwaukee 12 amp that That won't charge 100 percent. All three batteries had less than cycles before failing. Those batters are way too expensive to have a failure
If I needed one today, I’d definitely purchase the DCF860 or buy the 850 based on all the documented issues with m18 4th gen failures. Seems many prefer the 3rd gen to the 4th
not to mention the much higher battery failure rate with milwaukee too... tons of screws pulling out of the top shell half and the 8 ah/12 ah batteries randomly die and are unable to be charged past 1 or 2 bars. team yellow all the way
Same with anything that's popular, you're going to hear more about the small percentage of failures. Don't hear as much about the dewalt product failures because no one is buying dewalt
I can't wait to watch the whole video. I've been waiting to see you two specifically test the 860 against the gen4. I'm really interested to see what you guys think about the 860 paired with the 1.7 powerstack. That is my favorite battery for impacts. The 850 with the 1.7 "weight and balance wise" is a dream to work with
How long have you had them last? I don't use them super hard but have heard this on yt comments. Was almost going to buy more since they're on clearance now 🤦♂️
Hey Vinnie cuz you were running the Forge 6 ah flexvolt battery. To complete the ultimate competition, the yellow belly 9 amp DeWalt battery would be a challenge against the Forge 6 ah battery same as I mentioned to Tools and Stuff channel . VCG 💪🇺🇲 keep it up bro , Jimmy done damn good Will make donation soon thanks VCG team , awsum👍
Is that Milwaukee the same version that Tool Torque Channel, a month ago made a video about how he has already gone thru 6 of them (it’s been a month, so he is probably up to 7 by now) and yet none of the other impacts he tests have failed? Just curious
If Vince had the DCF860 and Jimmy had the Gen4 the score would have been 30-10 for DCF860. Jimmy must be scared to beat his boss or nervous on camera, maybe just not as good at handling screws, but man that was hard to watch live. I was about to fly out there and grab the impact. Also, I would use the 1.7ah power stack rather than a 3ah.
Like watching a heavy weight boxing match. Lol. Seeing the milwaukee stall out on speed 1 though. That was funny. I don't how my man didn't drive those home the rest of the way with the dewalt. The leds are nice............. gold 👌
The dewalt is a beast at work i got it and it easily out performs . The dewalt has a stronger ipm its very fast for drive screws. The Milwaukee hits harder impacts but it heats up faster because its beating itself up all day . Dewalt runs cooler and longer. Really goes to show how dewalt put some thought into my tool which i like it. Obviously if u go to the 3/8 or 1/2 impact there very strong eith less ipm. As a impact weench should be
I still think the 850 was more inovative and useful than this 860. Look there is a seperstion between hex driving impacts and square drive impact wrenches. What is valued by customers really is lightweight and compactness that 100mm width of the 850 was gamechanging and maintain the 205nm of the 887 which was perfectly fine. The power really is where we need it all the newer features like runtime running cool safety features driving modes etc all are the next things to focus on in my opinion. The impact is a tool suited to its task and nothing more really on the other hand drills do a multitude of things and i think the inovation would be better suited into those catching up. Put it this way i wont be upgrading to the 860 as i have my 850. On the other hand my 996 is dayed and my 805 is my daily for mobile tasks for its form factor. Let me tell you the 1007 is a step in the right direction for the full size xr drill. Im actually curious about the 870 i think its the 850 but quieter so i see than being a more popular option
To my knowledge most mechanics use Milwuakee tools , especially those on the roadservice calls ,but it is nice to have choices too, me I like the Reds and the great warranty of 5 years no questions asked, not even have to register them😆
Smoking DeWalt banana 🍌 flavor!! Milwaukee admit it took it very well!! There both are definitely powerful but I think Milwaukee has the edge in this competition! Go go!! For the red!!
Job site rated.. you run a cordless hole hawg.? Unless they fixed it, we blew through all from the compact to super hawg and one or 2 small houses and they were toast. I have the small dewalt and it's a beast no trigger resistor that goes on national backorder 😎 go yellow, my 2 only red left were because I'm got them cheap and use other batteries
One thing that isn’t taken into account is running the larger screws they don’t know if they are hitting and knots in the second and third 3x2’s that are under the first one
how is there only 600 likes ?!?!?! not only did this shed some light on the new dewalt tool but it was super funnny hhahahha ! xD im dying when the spade bit gets stuck in the collar... "you cant make this stuff up" lololol im dying, Thanks for the content mane !
The short guy is more muscular and can put more weight on the driver because of his height and build. He also put the 7/8” spade bit into the DeWalt. Any mistake was his.
I have a 1.7 ah Power Stack. I have not been impressed with it, primarily due to the price. I am not spending over $50 for a Power Stack when I can get two clone 8ah batteries for the same price or less. Even if they do not perform like a real DeWalt 8 ah battery I have two of them. They do run my two DeWalt saws, as well as my other DeWalt tools.
By Testing both my Self on my channel MILWAUKEE will be coming out with a 5th GENERATION IMPACT DRIVER SOONER THEN WE THINK and FLEX WILL DO the same BECAUSE i have the new FLEX 3/8 COMPACT IMPACT WRENCH FX 1431A so FLEXS new 2600 inch pounds impact Driver will have a HALO light
I think Milwaukee it's a better tool I think 🤔💬 so because they made a better improvement in there tools! You definitely have make more tools war you have guys ones every 3 months!!
From observation dewalt takes it in speed 1. Speed 2 seems even and Milwaukee wins at speed 3. So basically dewalt has more overall torque but Milwaukee has more torque in speed 3. Also Milwaukee has more control in speed 1 while not having as much torque 👌🏽
Seriously how much better can impact drivers get? Its pointless comparing at this stage theres more human error than anything. Its like comparing impact wrenches at the formula 1 when the crew train for speed.
VINCE!!!!!! Take Your PreWorkout Before You Go To The Gym. NOT Before You Do A Tool Times Raw. YOUR W A A A A YYY To Ampped Up. That being Said I Love Love Me Some Tools Tested Raw Thank You
False start and DeWalt still won . Haha I put playback at . 25 and the DeWalt won . He just pull out faster but you can see clear as day DeWalt is the winner
Even if dewalt won every single test, still wouldn't compare to the insane amount of amazing tools on the m18 platform. For me, buying the power stack batteries will just never happen
Milwaukee winning only coz guy cant keep screw perpendicular to the impact. Why your floor squeeking? Did vcg build it?😅 also on the 5/8 spade bit Milwaukee jumped the gun and still lost
I thought the same, it was free points for dewalt when gear 1 is nit a speed performance gear but for light finish work in cabinet’s, fixtures and small screws.
Notice how homie has 4 fingers and is struggling and licking up the screws where homie already has em in his hand how about next time you make sure both users have both hands and non injured
if the guy in black could hold the impact straight the Dewalt would win every time. OMG.
@@benbird7061 not only that , 9 ah flexvolt yellow/ Black is DeWalts king of the crop which Vince didn't use . It's almost evenly matched to the M18 Forge
Except what you’re forgetting is the Milwaukee has been out for over a year and dewalt could only match Milwaukee
Man, I've missed TTR, glad it's back!
All I can say is Dewalt is finally 🙌 stepping up to the plate!!!!
I'd like to see TTR once a month......
Thank you guys so much!!!!!

Absolutely 👍 that’s why I bought a second for myself when HD was blowing them out. Gen 4 gets to hot to fast. Gen 3 with 2 balls is my favorite 😄
Pair of balls is best!
not to mention the much higher battery failure rate with milwaukee too... tons of screws pulling out of the top shell half and the 8 ah/12 ah batteries randomly die and are unable to be charged past 1 or 2 bars. team yellow all the way

TTR is so fun. I’d love to watch a TTR for every tool from every company. It’s just a dang good time lol.
I have dewalt 850 and it has served me well. Light, small and powerfull.
Jimmys angle of driving the screws wass making me cringee 🤣🤣
Lol he's actually improved abit , but still same ol' jimmy I saw on early stages of VCG he was actually a comical crack up .😂
Jimmy = dewalt users
even as a Milwaukee fan the new Dewalt impact with the power stack is a speed monster.
Dewalt for the win!
I have lost count of how many 5.0ah powerstacks have died on me...the little 1.7ah just delivers over and over without issue.
How long have you had them last? I don't use them super hard but have heard this on yt comments. Was almost going to buy more since they're on clearance now 🤦♂️
@@hawaiianbasshead The 1.7 are awesome for lightweight quick jobs, a couple years without issues. The 5.0 all died in a matter of months

Welcome back TTR 🛠️
You need to try Wera Impaktor
driver bits they have a great fit in the screw and have a carbide/ diamond coating to eliminate cam out
And what are the measurements for the Dewalt DCF 860?

I have both these tools love both plus planning on getting AEG (RIGID) IN Aus i love tools more than one specific brand
In conclusion it's all on the operator and DeWalt ultimately won honestly
This is what I meant Milwaukee can bost all day but the year is not over yet because in the End DeWalt always comes out on top 👍🏁
The speed tests are du.b..
Which drill holds performance over years of use its what matters.

Dewalt is definitely a better feel and grip. Milwaukee tools are not comfortable to me...I even prefer m12 grip over m18
I like how y’all completely ignore the multitude of issues the Milwaukee Gen 4 has leading to it breaking down and needing repair often.

The bias and pettiness from the guy running the show is hard to stomach.... DCF860 deserves a little more respect.
Agreed.
How come nobody talks about the durability and longevity of milwaukee. I've owned both milwaukee wins in the end game
Jimmy needs to put some pressure behind the tool so it isn't camming out on every fastener.

It’s not the drill, but the operator. Milwaukee was ahead in the beginning and then Dewalt jumped ahead 🤷♂️
The difference was the user's not the tool lol
need better bits dewalt slips like 10 times 😏 use torx or R2 bits
DeWalt wins every time homie just pulls out faster
Bwahahah. Smells like victory 😅😅
Milwaukee winning only coz guy cant keep screw perpendicular to the impact. Why your floor squeeking? Did vcg build it?😅 also on the 5/8 spade bit Milwaukee jumped the gun and still lost
Lmao !!! 😂
Why You still using on Milwaukee old XC batteries?, when HO batteries are much better?
Because dewalt was not a powerstack
Speed one should not be counted. It’s the low torque speed for delicate work. Not made for torque.

It will be a cold day in hell before I would waste my money on anything from milwaukee!
The guys got a bum finger you cant count that lol
Dewalt has surpassed Milwaukee
Notice how homie has 4 fingers and is struggling and licking up the screws where homie already has em in his hand how about next time you make sure both users have both hands and non injured
DeWalt won both times.
Wow i like that❤❤😂😂
love the channel but dude with the bum finger is a cam out machine. nice guy but a lousy screw. That's what she said. 🤣
Clearly not a fair test as the Dewalt guy has never used an impact before.
