Great news, We finally know that there will be a seventh season of Good Witch! Fans had been on tenterhooks since the season 6 finale, worried that they had seen the last of Cassie Nightingale (Catherine Bell). In an announcement made in mid-July, Hallmark Channel said the show would be picked up for a seventh season. In previous seasons, Hallmark renewed the series well before the end of the current season. That didn’t happen in 2020. There’s a lot going on in TV land so we don’t blame the network for taking their time to make a decision. Good Witch, which follows Cassie and the inhabitants of the town of Middleton, started as a standalone film back in 2008. That film led to 11 movies and six seasons of the series. We’re hoping Hallmark will also add more movies to the franchise, maybe something in time for Halloween. Itching for season 7? We’ve got all the juicy details about what you can expect in the 2021 season. Fingers crossed there’ll be another dream wedding coming our way! Good Witch will return in May 2021. As the series renewal was just announced, we don’t have any details about the upcoming season, but we have some pretty good guesses!
Spoiler Alert Now that the curse has been broken, one can speculate we’ll see either a wedding, a reconciliation and maybe even a new romance. If Adam (Scott Cavalheiro) returns to Middleton after his mission, will he and Stephanie (Kaylee Evans) get back together? Will romance blossom between Joy (Katherine Barrell) and Carter (Jason Diaz)? We’ll also find out what the mystery is with the satchels each of the Merriwick sisters received anonymously. Cassie’s had some dirt in it, but it was never revealed what Joy and Abigail had in theirs and what they are for. And last, but not least, we’ll hopefully find out if Cassie and Sam finally find a hobby they can enjoy together! Does that mean we’ll see a wedding at the end of season 7? The show also teased a possible romance between Joy and Carter, the carpenter who helps Joy with the renovation of Tinsdale Manor. We don’t have a full cast lineup yet, but we can assume most of the familiar faces around Middleton will be returning. We’ll let you know if we hear otherwise, but expect to see Catherine Bell (Cassie Nightingale Russell Radford), James Denton (Dr. Sam Radford), Sarah Power (Abigail Pershing), Catherine Disher (Martha Tinsdale), Peter MacNeill (George O’Hanrahhan), Kylee Evans (Stephanie Borden), Scott Cavalheiro (Adam Hawkins), Rhys Matthew Bond (Nick Radford), Marc Bendavid (Mayor Donovan Davenport), Paula Boudreau (Dotty Davenport) and Katherine Barrell (Joy Harper). While the show takes place in the fictitious town of Middleton, USA, the show is filmed in and around Toronto, Canada. The real Grey House is in Dundas, Ontario, Canada and is known as Foxbar. Fans from the show flock to Foxbar every year to check out the home. The owner of the home said last year fans from Australia came to Foxbar just to take a picture! The first five seasons of Good Witch are available to stream on Netflix in the U.S. You can also purchase or rent episodes on iTunes and Amazon. The movies are available to stream on Hallmark Movies Now, Hallmark Channel’s streaming service. How many seasons are there of Good Witch? Currently, there are 11 movies-seven made prior to the series and five movies within the six seasons of Good Witch. The series has been picked up for a seventh season set to premiere in 2021.

Loved Catherine Bell in Jag!! And "Martha" is one of my favorite characters on Good Witch! The series would never be the same without her! Many of the actors appearing in Good Witch have also been on Heartland, another of my favorites. Enjoyed this video. Thanks!

I think the idea is you're not sure if she's actually a witch with magic or just super intuitive and in tune with things around her. .
Before it was a series there were movies. Go back and watch the very first movie.
I watched this show from the beginning. Also, had seen the movies. It was interesting to me how they had to suddenly write into the storyline that the women were witches. Surprisingly, the men in their lives made no surprising comment about it. I loved the series and will miss it. All the characters blended wonderfully. They did a great job. The town of Middleton is magical. Would definitely live there. I hope they can make some future movies and bring more of the magic into it.

In the early 90's Catherine Disher was in a show called Forever Night. She and a vampire worked to solve crimes. She was the coroner.

I love the show but it's odd that her older kids never show up anymore. They sorta wrote them out of the storyline.
Yes the tv show took over for the films and the new producer did not want that hole plot and wrote them out as softly as he could.
It was because of COVID.
They did come back the past two years. Bailee Madison didn't though but Sam's son, Nick came back the weekend after he started college to get some help on a school project.
Because they live far away from Middleton. How often do people who live in different states get to see each other in real life?
Technically the two older children are her step-children. When Cassie moved on from the death of her husband (their father) I can see where to keep them on as regular cast would have complicated the plot and stalled story lines.
Loved the show and the movies watched them all twice. So sad that it ended because there are no other positive feel good shows out there like this one. Hope they will at least have a reunion or something.
Catherine Bell is Absolutely Gorgeous...
I know Catherine Disher from "Forever Knight" TV series when she was an M.E. trying to keep a Vampire masquerading as a cop from stealing blood in order to not feed from humans. She also tried to help him become human again, his desire.
She is also a Canadian Actress. I recognized her in the first Movie (Good Witch) from "Forever Knight".

Catherine Bell has several tattoos that are covered up for the show. 2 of them are her children’s names, her sons name in ancient Celtic and her daughters in Persian. She had her daughters name done while on Army wives to which it was played off to stand for Beautiful mess on the show.

Love Goodwitch so much we have the movies and all 7 seasons on DVD . Now our 9 yo granddaughter has become a fan .grace is her fav. Charector and she's in love w nick. Lol she sobbed hard when first found out he left the show. Lol.

The only reason season eight did not happen is Catherine Bell walked away.
She did not renew her role and hallmark agree it best to end the show at a high point. It had a 13 year run and its sad to see it end. I personally like the film's better than the show and you can find them on Amazon and hallmark. Good bye miss Nightingale thank you for the wonderful years.

I can't say I'd blame her. There's more important things in life than making money. At the end of her life, she's not going to be thinking, Oh, how I wish I'd done 10 seasons of Good Witch, or more seasons of Army Wives, or JAG. Both her children are growing up. I think her daughter's 18 & her son's 11. Yes, it was sad to see the show end. I'll admit that. Maybe she realizes how fast they're growing up & decided to spend more time w/them.

This last season, and last episode were awful! Not sure what happened but these “new” writers ruined a perfectly fun and beautiful show. I know COVID didn’t help, but really makes me sad what they did to this show. Sad to see the show go though. Was one of my favorites ♥️

l thought it was an interesting direction they took it. More magic and family history. Also more woman oriented. They had to do something new as the kids had left the show.
All the earlier shows were great, as soon as they had homosexual relationships on it that blew it. We turned it off and refused even to watch the old episodes.

There is a Christmas movie with Jane Seymour, the royal family is from Cordinia. That's the first time hearing of Cordinia. Then the Good witch. Bailee Madison is in the movie, Northpole. She plays an elf. Really cute.😊 I love her on Once Upon a Time too.
Well, there was a comment saying there was a movie called Northpole that had the fictional kingdom of Cordonia. Didn't know that but glad I got to see the comment a least. Imma go watch the movie. It premiered in Nov 2014 so officially Pixelberry used it from them, or paid for it not sure

Good Witch. Great Series. Good Cast. Quaint Town and Happenings. But from Season 1-2 it appears to be no people of color. By The end of season 2 Brown People appear in this town but for some reason Do Not Speak. Then in the beginning of Season 3 it appears only the Brown nurses speak. 🤨🧐😂. I love it because this is real life. Good job 💪🏾✅. Still watching. Not to see if Brown people appear because I’m sure they will have them as a guest at Greyhouse. I’m thinking maybe an entertainer, or athlete. GOD please don’t let it be a Rapper wearing a Big Rope Diamond Chain. 🤦🏾♂️😂🤣

It took a while for the show to reflect diversity, but they did a nice job in the end. There is an Asian librarian/poet, a Black hospital admin/doctor couple, and a really nice lesbian story line featuring a beautiful multi-dimensional Black woman. I'm straight, but one of my closest childhood friends had to hide who she was from everyone ... People don't come any better than her so my heart went out to her for having to hide all of who she was. Good job Good Witch for portraying lesbian love so beautifully.

Other facts. These characters are everywhere, walk into a business yelling and no other shoppers look just continue browsing, no chemistry between the main characters, they're more like two Mike Brady's always got something quirky to say. I could go on but I just got tired.

Why do all the characters speak the same way in the series? I don't get it. They all have the same voices. The writers don't mix it up enough. Everyone ends every sentence with I do. Or I am. People don't speak that way. It distracted me from enjoying this. Couldn't get into it.
