- A motorcycle's suspension serves a dual purpose: contributing to the vehicle's handling and braking, and providing safety and comfort by keeping the vehicle's passengers comfortably isolated from road noise, bumps and vibrations.

I just don't understand why *EVERY* part needs to come in contact with the dirt floor
it's a trade secret
they can’t afford tables
It's called "Third World".

Yes not fair...
It's just some type of cheap oil, not a 'dangerous chemical' persay.
he'll be dead in 7 to 8 years. these men in the sweat shop would be better off dead. it pisses me off that many comments praise their skills. we in the united states worked like this till the trade unions came around. too bad the fat cats in the united states have managed to kill our unions. jeff bezzos . bill gates, Joe Biden and his cult, are doing their best to bring these kinds of shops back to america.

That box just says VENDOR on it. "Genuine parts". Brilliant!
It's a brand known and respected worldwide, haven't you heard of it? :D
Fan belt brake to stop the lathe from spinning, nice
Yes and zero investment and operation cost.
Unbelievable
Thats japnese said kaizen...
Yep, I laughed at the fan belt brake too but it certainly worked well.
It works so well, its simple but the execution is smooth and seamless like it was meant to be, if you did know what you where looking at it still makes perfect sense
Even 41 years ago I remember my shop teacher MR Elwood . If you left the key in the lathe he would make you where it around you neck for a week. You remember that ,so you don’t end up crippled, missing a arm .
Mr. Overstreet would just scream and throw something at you. Also about 40 years ago for me but I'll never forget a time when men were taught by other men.
We had once going such a key going straight up throu the overlight window.
makes me sad to see people treated like driven animals in this sweat shop. this is what all the fat cats from wall street and corporate america would like to see all over the united states. hell they won't even buy the workere work benches and make them sit on a floor and work. it is truly barbaric. i wish everyone could see what a crime this is but no most people think these people possess skills or some such baloney.
I had the same kind of instructor in shop class. He pointed out about ten different ways you could get maimed by a Mill or Lathe. Safety is no laughing matter.
Mrs Ellwood, a big girl?
Nice way to mushroom the bottom of the forks with that hammer 🔨🤣
I watched that guy put freaking rusty springs inside that shock. No wonder everyone gets 5,000 miles on a 50,000 mile shock.
No worries as the whole stinking asian made motorcycle will never see 5,000 miles as the frame will no doubt break or the unfortunate victim that buys the motor cycle will just junk it as he can't find any decent repair parts for the bike.
Those little ones were basically bump stop springs. These are just scooter forks. Relax peanut gallery.
@@DimMakTen31 the child dipping the tubes is being murdered .... peanut gallery indeed. that is a crime, the cops should get involved hell with the peanut gallery, this Sweat Shop would be considered a crime scene in any civilized nation. the boss is treating these men and boys worse than animals.

This is an OHSA nightmare. As a young apprentice machinist I was taught that when operating a lathe you should wear eye protection, rolled sleeves and a tucked in shirt to protect you from being sucked into the rotating assembly. Just a thought,
You only need to watch 1 video of a lathe killing someone to instill permanent respect for the machine in them
Me to, for any mechanic really.

A clean and tidy work space would go a long way, such filthy lathes floor and ALL.
this is India its the dirtiest place on Earth
oh shut up
Why do they always work on the floor? Just don’t get it, a table would make the working conditions sooo much better not to mention the cleanliness improvement…
I always wonder the same every time I see these videos. A table and a chair are so basic for human tasks, can't understand how they work on the ground.

No, shock absorbers can come in rotary damper form as well.

Nothing magical about this at all. The end product is just cheap crap. This is supposed to be a product with quite tight tolerance’s.

Yep, all previous comments are on the nail. Even myself trained in the old days here in Zimbabwe, I am appauled. Our local people here do this in the street for repairs. No standards anymore.
Sadly it's how they keep 1970s/80s prices today. They'll last 5-10k km max. Old shock from British and Japanese bikes from the 60s still work (my old chap has a BSA bantam on original shocks).
Really enjoyed this vid. Thanks guys.
Are you trying to be funny?
The serpentine belt brake is a genius idea.
It wouldn't take a genius just to fix the brake on the machine. it is painful for me to see the way these poor men are being treated in this sweat shop. they have a child they are murdering slowly as he inhales all the gasses from the acid bath. this treatment of workers in the united states would be illegal and also barbaric.
@@johngillon6969 lmao. Your false sense of self righteousness is laughable at best. Typical behavior of a liberal. Always want to be seen and heard as righteous, but as long as the cost is being paid by someone else’s. 🤦🏻♂️😂
I admire the men working in these places. The conditions these men work in is just terrible and to see child labor is offensive to anybody that has a conscience.
Still, that won't prevent westerners to buy stuff from those countries

Nice job guys!
I'm a welder in Canada....as soon as I enter our plant....I'm already wearing my safety googles....I even forgot to remove it during break times. I feel uncomfortable watching this guy working in a lathe machine.
To be fair though the ideal mix of safety would be somewhere between out-of-fuxking control safety Nazi Canada and what these guys are enduring in India. We're just as bad as these guys just on the exact opposite of the spectrum. And we can't figure out why jobs flee this stupid country and go elsewhere -- because it takes 20x longer and is 4x more expensive to do the damn job.
In Pakistan eyes are cheaper than goggles. :)
Same here, I have my Adflo unit on all day now. I don’t mess with safety anymore.
This must be the 'White Power' suspension factory back in '00

I have a feeling safety is not in their vocabulary.
Yes you are right
No wonder why…
No excuse for such an unclean assembly area even taking in to account their location. I mean how much do some tables in an area with dropped down sheets acting as walls and brushing it out frequently with brooms cost.
At the time stamp of @12:40 and on... What is the strip of plastic inserted for? Seems like something that would end up being crunched up in the system as the telescopes in & out of itself?

When I saw those rubber balls I thought they were going to be shoving them down the fork tubes as the actual suspension lol.

I was going to comment that on the centerless grind operation I'm sure those mics are calibrated but what was even worse was the young man chrome plating with no protection. His health is doomed. I saw what happened to chrome plate operators here locally. Died young.

Outstanding quality control procedures they have in place, lol not once did I see a measuring device being used. I guess maybe it fits maybe it don't.

Anyone unfortunate enough to buy these would be well advised to strip them down and to clean everything, before rebuilding and refilling with a quality branded fork oil.
Even then, don't expect much in the way of quality.
They are NOT for export but locale use only!
@@combatrailfanfilms848 That much is obvious, besides, remarkably few countries would import such low quality parts.

The new HRC MotoGP bike most likely 🤣
Rusty springs are the strongest! :)))))
Where can I find me some of those safety sandals, it gets hot in the shop
We really need to offer the technology of a 'bench' to India, or would that be classed as colonisation?
exactly on the nose my friend. But the slave driver would also argue, give them a bench and they will just complain they have no stools to sit on, and if you give theme a stool , they will want a floor, and if you give them a floor then they will want a broom. it never ends. besides we make the cheapest set of forks, otherwise we will not get work and the shop will close. and the child dipping the tubes is a homeless orphan that works for a place to sleep in the yard and a meal of rice curry once a day. he will be dead at 13 and there are lots 8 years old waiting for an interview when he dies
