the only recommendation I can give right now with weapon crafts, it applies to all. Always craft highest base material item available(for example if you're lvl30 or more use lvl30 bones), do not overgather mats, use knowledge on bad spots. For instance, stonemason is very rough beween 24 and 28, I used knowledge and passive xp then switched to doing mantuban's legacy for example so I could get the materials. Always use the highest level bones available to craft, because it is way more knowledge to process them, it is never worth buying the materials unless very low level or filthy rich. The players who craft lowever level stuffs to recoup their costs are gaslighting themselves imho, it is marginally better for this skill itself it's true, but it really ruins account progression. Also you need all the weapon skills for every class because transmutation equalize levels, so if you want to rock epic weapons all the way it's level all 3. If you omnicraft there is a very weak spot between 20 and 40-45 on all 3 weapon skills then they get noticeably increasingly faster with increasingly more knowledge gains and money return. But for that you need to push everything with them (wc/carpenter/gathering/mining) it's a real big grind.
Well thought out comment and I agree. I made the mistake of using old gathered materials because I used kp on bw. After i figured out what was happening I spent 2 days getting gathering ahead
haha I can understand why ppl think this. With the vat giving 0.5% for bone use it was very slow. Now they've fixed the bug you actually get good kp doing the skill so it's a lot faster than it was. I'll explain the better method in 50-100 video (aiming for 140 day)
I am levelling bonewright so I can trade weapons. The only reason i did combat was to unlock ability to make epic weapons stonemason just isn't a priority right now, its the last thing I'll get for the quest

Trading will shake up the game quite a bit. I hope trading isn't in the game for at least a month. I think many people are enjoying the iroman aspect of collecting your own stuff. I think it'd be really cool if they make trading 'opt in' and when you click yes you lose a status symbol like an iron man so people can have that status. It's not personally for me but I know others enjoy it

You can even go out farm ur juniper its pretty easy and u only one step to process it at carpentry.
You can farm your own logs but I've found a much better method after much testing. I'll include the new method in the 50-150 video :D

why did you level your bonewright to 75 when your combat is barely over 30 and stonemason is 0?
