That is probably the nicest turbo carpet nozzle I have ever seen! Fancy features and elegant design too. Would be great to see a comparison test of all the carpet turbo nozzles in your collection to see which design is best. I wonder if the bulkiness of the main unit is due to Bosch's desire to provide an extra large dust bin which would need less emptying. It must be the largest collection bin in the bagless cleaner market!
I usually end up vacuuming in the kitchen which has a hard floor and this is where we always get the grit falling out. Even after I have emptied the hoover and cleaned the filter the minute I lift the machine to put it away the grit falls out.
I can not wait to receive my brand new in the box hoover turbopower two U2462 on Monday. i dont think i will be able to sleep for the next few days until i get it lol.
HAHAHAHA no lol. I dont think dear old roger would part with any of his classic vacuum cleaners from when he was younger. as he has said a few times in his vids he regrets the huge vacuum cleaner cull he had back before i was born in the 1990s. No i managed to persuade the person that was about to post it on ebay to sell it privately to me off of the internet for £170 so I think i got a massive deal on that as the last NIB U2462 sold on ebay went for around £430 a few years ago.
Youwill have to keep an eye on my channel this next week for the unboxing, assembly and initial overview and demo and maybe next month i will do a big mess test out on it. I fully intend to use this as a daily vac and not keep it mint in the box because in my eyes something should serve the purpose it was built for.
becaue i would like to be able to use it. ill still take very good care of it dont worry. for me vacuum cleaner collection is about using the vacuum cleaner and finding out what things they are good at in my house. for example my hoover junior is the only vacuum cleaner i can use on the rug in my mums utility room as every other vacuum cleaner has too much suction and will just pull the fug into them blocking them up. and the Miele is only used on the hard flooring and the stairs.
Oddly the Pro Silence is 9db quieter though it appears largely the same. I'm not nuts about the filter design and think that I like the way that Miele and Electrolux both designed theirs with a chamber on top. That was very impressive airflo. Imagine if it came supplied with one of the combination floor nozzles that Miele supplies on their C3 line. Then, the Blizzard would also be a much better package with a metal bottom plated nozzle. That's one place that Miele should never have deviated. Well I hope that at sometime in the not to distant future you'll test your new Sebo E1. I'm saving for one myself and wanted to see your review but there's no rush. I presently have a K-2 and an Electrolux Ultrasilencer as well as an old Kirby and an Oreck XL so I don't need it and it's going to take a while to save some extra for it anyway. Great show today Roger. Love the sox!
Excellent review Rodger, On first look the Miele Blizzard seems abit better but the Bosch demo will be the deciding factor. Iv yet to venture into the realm of bagless.
After Euro-Pro brought the rights to the Fantom name, they introduced an upright with a similar filter cleaning system called the "Twister". I wonder how the Bosch compares to the Miele Blizzard in terms of bulkiness.
Just noting from your description this particular model does not have the button push clean system it's only manual. The button/autoclean feature is only reply available in other European countries but the uk i think got a few models with this feature. Great review but just noting.
My biggest concern is the same as for most of the bagless vacs : Isn't the procedure of emptying the canister messy? As soon as you pull the inner part from the canister, there's no way to avoid a part of dust going to the air/room. I prefer the vacs that open from the bottom (like the new Miele bagless models, some Rowenta models, Samsung, etc.)
According to recent tests by the consumers association, all bagless cleaners release dust into the air when emptying, including the Miele Blizzard. The cleanest method of dust disposal is a self sealing bag.
Thank you for your videos. i really enjoy them especially your humour which is spot on! Does anyone know of any shops in London where you can go and look/try out vacuums (whilst pretending to buy of course)
This vacuum might be okay but seriously it makes my work hard coz the machine is heavy. I wish you made a lighter one. It makes my body feel tired specially when you need to drag it on a carpet. Dyson might be louder but i might prefer it coz it’s lighter and easy to work with.
How did you remove the cylindrical inner filter unit from the container? when you did it you said something like "oh, it's hidden, I found it" but you did not show exactly where it was hidden and I am doing my nut trying tind it. Please help.
Hi Roger, Thanks for nice videos. Recently my vacuum cleaner’s turbo head stopped to rotated but suction is fantastic. I try to detail cleaning but couldn’t open. How we can clean or any solutions? Thanks
Carpet should never be glued down. Instead they are stretched and tucked into tack strips around the edges. In the case of affixed pad carpet those are just laid out like a rug and require no additional adhesion but tacking is recommended.
I bought the Bosch Zoo’o ProAnimal version of this machine because it is bagless and I didn’t want to contribute to the landfill. Contacted Bosch today to buy, what I thought was going to be a new inner paper filter for this machine. Not so. Bosch makes you buy the whole inner filter system which is comprised of two hard plastic pieces, to the inner one is attached the paper filter. This costs $109 online, one quarter of the original price of the whole machine.... I am beyond angry. I will never buy another Bosch product.
iShootBandits Well, Vax cylinders have multi cyclonic technology .... which is better than this. As expensive as Dyson vacuums are, I find them virtually maintenance free. This Bosch and Miele Blizzard seem like a chore to maintain. The Miele Blizzard is bulky and lost suction during his demonstration.
Why would they? Dysons cyclone albeit effective to a extent is highly restrictive and puts a lot of strain on the motor and reduces airflow to naught! A new dyson out of the box pulls .5 to 1 on a Baird airflow meter while a Miele will pull a 7.5 to 8.
The pro animal turbo nozzle is crap. A total disaster. It's rotating parts fill up with dust and hair, it chokes. Disassembling and cleaning is not so easy. No instructions for it. The screws are hidden. It was no designed for serviceability.
This "extremely long video" helped me fix a minor issue I was having with this vacuum cleaner. Thanks for uploading it 5 years ago!

I like the turbo brush because they're super strong and they can fit on almost any vacuum and they don't really need so much suction
I usually end up vacuuming in the kitchen which has a hard floor and this is where we always get the grit falling out. Even after I have emptied the hoover and cleaned the filter the minute I lift the machine to put it away the grit falls out.
I can not wait for you to test this!
I agree with you. The hose is very short, the body big and bulky. Bosch needs to take this back to the design board.
32:42 it's because you use it on wrong "hard floor" (high) power setting instead of "carpet" (medium) power setting ;)
Hey Roger, when will you do the full demo of this cleaner?
I also would love to see you do a comparison with this cleaner and the miele blizzard 👍👍👍

Why don't you keep it nice in the box??

Crazy how you are allowed to return it, even though it was used and not faulty 😮 unused yeah, but once it’s soiled…
It wasn’t returned, I sold it on eBay.
Excellent review Rodger, On first look the Miele Blizzard seems abit better but the Bosch demo will be the deciding factor. Iv yet to venture into the realm of bagless.
This difference on the hose is to help to accelerate the air inside the hose to improve it
I was expecting made in Germany because it's made by Bosch and how about you compare that to the Miele blizzard.
After Euro-Pro brought the rights to the Fantom name, they introduced an upright with a similar filter cleaning system called the "Twister". I wonder how the Bosch compares to the Miele Blizzard in terms of bulkiness.
I plan to make a comparison video at some point.
Just noting from your description this particular model does not have the button push clean system it's only manual. The button/autoclean feature is only reply available in other European countries but the uk i think got a few models with this feature. Great review but just noting.
Thanks to show ,is really difficult ,
Could you please do a demo
im suprised that the standard nozzle is all plastic i own a power silence the original 1200w version and the head has a metal base plate
The top of the vacuum looks like a CD player lol
I will put a cd inside it and see if it plays.
@@ibaisaic it's not a vacuum it's a vacuum/CD player lol.
I have been looking for your full review but have not yet found it. A link in your description would have been wonderful.
Sorry, sold this long ago.

Youn should have it on carpet setting for a. Vacuuming of a carpet
my bosch power silence has a metal base plate i wonder why they did away with the metal
Thank you for your videos. i really enjoy them especially your humour which is spot on! Does anyone know of any shops in London where you can go and look/try out vacuums (whilst pretending to buy of course)
The Dyson Store in Oxford Street and John Lewis are two I can think of.
Thank you x

hi roger would it be good for hard floor like in the kichen and stiars or not as i know it is good for carpets but im not sure about them 2 :)
Maybe the hose is thick so the animal fur won't clog up.
I think it's mainly to improve the airflow.
To suck up some smaller cats and dogs 😆😆
Hi Roger,
Thanks for nice videos. Recently my vacuum cleaner’s turbo head stopped to rotated but suction is fantastic. I try to detail cleaning but couldn’t open. How we can clean or any solutions?
Thanks
i have the original model gs-50 power silence
I'm looking for a new hoover
can you review the hoover jet n wash?
Omg are carpets not glued down in England? 😱
No, the majority of fitted carpets are secured around the edge of the room using gripper rods.
Carpet should never be glued down. Instead they are stretched and tucked into tack strips around the edges. In the case of affixed pad carpet those are just laid out like a rug and require no additional adhesion but tacking is recommended.
34:47 So, did you return it?
The filter looks like their automotive air filters

Nice looking machine here but if this Bosch cleaner made in China then I would pahaps go for a meile or sebo.
I have warmed to it a bit since the video and it's not badly made for a cleaner produced in China.
ibaisaic However it does look a quality sturdy product made from China.
I think I'd return it looks like the suction would wear the carpet out
The carpet is due for replacement this year anyway.
also where is the full demo
It's in my head at the moment, but I plan to make one soon.
Can you or rusty do an dyson dc07 test
I haven't got a DC07, so you'll have to ask Rusty if he has one.
ibaisaic ok
ibaisaic thanks anyway though
I really hate these pleated filters. Can't Miele/Bosch create a cyclonic system like Dyson?
They could but Dyson's cyclonic system is patented I say.
iShootBandits Well, Vax cylinders have multi cyclonic technology .... which is better than this. As expensive as Dyson vacuums are, I find them virtually maintenance free. This Bosch and Miele Blizzard seem like a chore to maintain. The Miele Blizzard is bulky and lost suction during his demonstration.
Very true I forgot about the Vax.
When will you do this demo
Thanks for your videos lately sorry I haven't watched this one
The plastic body looks a bit brittle
it looks too heavy a beast of a machine could of had better tools and hose is too short not very flexible
The pro animal turbo nozzle is crap. A total disaster. It's rotating parts fill up with dust and hair, it chokes. Disassembling and cleaning is not so easy. No instructions for it. The screws are hidden. It was no designed for serviceability.
This vacuum so expensive. But quality so bad the machine still working good in 3 yrs but the tube gine crunchy just tear apart . Quality is bad
