- We went up to Jones last week and installed the new LVS34 LiveScope transducer on my boat. Today we talk about how it differs from the LVS32 and show you a rigging trick as well as some live footage. Taylor also talks about the elements and how they differ between the units, and we show you a size comparison.

Get that voltage up and you'll get marginally better returns Ken! I was having low voltage issues on my lvs34 with the factory wiring from phoenix, I moved to the seaclear harness and my images are better now!
Couple of questions.... I see that this time you put the transducer on the barrel instead of the shaft, why is that? Your image looks real clear, do you mind sharing your settings?
Just got the lvs34 installed this weekend. For some reason it doesn’t translate much on video, but it is a significant improvement. I feel like it needs less tuning
I thought the same when I reviewed the footage

It seems like helix is way more popular than solix's? Is that just because prices? I'm about buy my first fishing electronics. I stuck between Garmin ultra 106sv with lvs34 & solix10 with mega 360. I think solix is a nicer unit but haven't been abl mess with them like the ultras. Any suggestions?

@@KenSmithFishing I got ya, price does make a difference, I do think solix having touch& button controls will make it that much easier use on water. Thier all great units no doubt. I used to fish just shallow water but past couple years I started fishing more offshore using GPS contour app on my phone. It's about 60/40 split now bank to offshore. yeah I'll shoot you an email with my info to talk more in depth. I appreciate it

Time to jump to lithiums voltage was low it helped my solixs so much

@@KenSmithFishing my classic was a rocket out of the hole before I upgraded but it got even better after adding them
Im running a single small lithium for my black box and unit i use for livescope. I am very pleased with the results. 32ah battery lasts all day. 12 hours of fishing.
I Call today and they told me they would not give any trade allowance for just the transducer
