I'm running the Amped Outdoors 32aH battery, model AO-4S32. It's a 474 Watt-hour battery. I'm running the black box and a Garmin GPSMap 1222 on this dedicated battery.
Cabela’s is having a sale on their live scope for 1000 bucks but you’re saying that the 34 is much better would you spend the extra $700 on the 34 or would you just get the 32
I`m looking to buy a garman panoptix after using one while ice fishing with a guide with winter.I want to use it on my boat and for ice fishing.Their are so many graphs that work it makes my head hurt looking at all the info.I want a 10 inch screen so how do you know witch one to get?Is live scope and panoptix the same thing ?
The panoptix and livescope are different. Here's a video that explains some of the differences (ua-cam.com/video/FMy1hcQZG0s/v-deo.html). There are two livescope transducers out (LVS32 and LVS34). The 34 is about 30% better than the 32. I go over those differences here (ua-cam.com/video/qmjzI-Nz-eg/v-deo.html). The 34 is a little more expensive. I've owned them all. The panoptix was/is cool. The livescope allows you to tell the species of fish.
Bass pro has the Garmin 106sv for sale at $999.00., you get a screen with 1280 x 800 pixels vs 1024 x 600 at a lower price. Also, rather than run a stand alone battery for it, why not run a 125ah lithium battery as your starter battery and all your electronics? That way you do not have to bother with an extra battery.
The 106sv is a touchscreen and the digital menu encroaches the screen too much for my liking. Your battery configuration will work, but I've seen recommendations against. I have Powerpoles on my starting battery, so I don't want anymore draw. Here's what Amped Outdoors said on their website: Dirty Power - Today's modern fishing electronics are hands down better than they have ever been. They draw more power and are capable of providing crystal clear images. The biggest issue people have is running all their boat 12V components off of one battery. You introduce dirty power using your live well pumps, phones, cameras, anchoring systems and all other 12v accessories. Isolating your fishing electronics (graphs and chart plotters) to an isolated lithium battery will ensure you are getting the best image and performance possible
@@BrianGaberFishing You can hide the touch screen. I will let you know if I get any interference after install. It is worth a try as my LiveWell pump only runs intermittently along with occasional use of the minnekota talons. Right now I have them wired to a size 31 lead acid battery that also runs my starter and electronics. With the addition of the 106sv and livescope, I plan on switching to an Ionic lithium 125ah battery for starter and electronics, and two lithium 100ah batteries for trolling motor, using a 3 bank norco charger. This should make things simple for recharging, less weight, and longer run times, I know two people who currently have similar set ups with no issues.
Do you run the Livescope and the 1022 on that one battery 32AH ?
@@malcolmzoll7613 Yes. All day with no issues. Charges fully overnight
what do you think about the 1242 garmin
Thanks for the question. I like it. I prefer the 1222, but that's just my preference. I just dropped a video about why
Good information, thank you. How many amh does your battery have and what are you running on it. ( black box & Garmin) ?

@@jasonholman5171 If I'm tournament fishing, I'd get the 34. If not the 32 is the next best thing out there.
the 62 is the juice. you can eliminate so much water with its range!

I don’t get any interference on any of my graphs and I have 5 . I run one 125 lithium .
LVS32 is great still .. if the 34 wasn't released we would still be talking about the 32. Boils down to if you want the new.
@@TexasKen Right, some people still use the old flashers that came out years ago and are happy with them.
You can get the 32 for 1000.00
