- I Follow Rivers by Lykke Li is featured in A Night of Neglect, the seventeenth episode of Season Two. It is sung by Tina.
Unfortunately, during the performance, she is booed off the stage by the Heckling Club (a club which Sue had previously formed in order to ruin the concert), which results in Tina crying for an hour.

This is honestly one of the unique numbers in the show and the fact that they cut the performance short and you can only listen to the full version is so infuriating. My queen Tina deserved so much better.
Right? This was legit so annoying, I just wanted to hear her perform. Even if it was for the sake of the story it was still so unfair
I think they should have changed it so the audience was entranced by her performance and the band and stopped their bullshit
I will always hate them for cutting this performance

The treatment Tina got, especially Jenna herself, was horrible and just abusive. She’s one of the most versatile and strongest singers on the show but they never really showed that at all.
How was Jenna treated? On her podcast she seems to have nothing but good things to say about the experience

@@matthewrandell5055 Have you heard the things she's talked about behind the scenes? How she went to Ryan about how she doesn't feel like she was getting enough screentime and singing time and was promised to be treated better but wasn't. They forget to include her in credits as a running joke because of one time. She was cut off from a concert poster and her name wasn't even added. Other things too.

I’m so sad they ditched Tina’s alt/goth aesthetic in the earlier seasons
People change and I like that they changed her style, feels realistic

@@alexanderzschusschen8300 You're right about the very offensive jokes, but most times, specially in high school, being goth IS a phase. Coming from someone who was one before.
they ditched a lot of good things in earlier seasons. Like Quinn’s old look and how they transformed her in season 2/3. Rachel being hella fashionable in s1. Sam’s development from being a lowkey character on the brink of poverty to the dumbest character.
In 3x20 or 3x19 props where she has an argument with every about how she never gets solos in glee club like i only realize she wasn’t wrong i mean she said it herself “i was here when we were singing sit down your rocking the boat” like she NEVER actually gets a solo
Well, off the top of my head, I can think of the ABC/Control/Man in the Mirror set. She was the lead vocal for ABC.
@@kev7161 well it’s so obvious she only got abc because Rachel Santana Mercedes and Brittany wasn’t there... I understand her so much when she had that outburst in props. She derserves way more. And she doesn’t complain like how the other girls did.

@@tiahmurphy6152 That was a group performance? She was lead but that wasn't a solo. She never sang a solo in a competition other than Gangnam Style which was just a mess. Her songs before were also still cut off for no reason.
the way this extended version has more character development and personality than she's given in the whole show

Jenna is one of the best singers in the glee cast, but they NEVER showed it. I really disliked Tina, but I feel like I would have really enjoyed her character had they embraced the actress’s talents more and made her character less annoying.
