This comment about Not specific to this talk but Mr Gogineni in general. I was actively involved in this kind of Atheist group for some time and finds very logical and reasonable. But one day asked my group lead why do you target always Hindu related rituals and practices and did not get any proper answer and instead he supported Christianity as very logical and reasonable . This is very surprised me and he added that talking about Islam is not safe.
Then started questioning in my mind ...what is wrong in prying for Tulasi plant and what right about celebrating Christmas with a Christmas tree...etc
Then I talked old priest lives in my neighborhood and he said very simple thing all the rituals are just a stepping stone to move forward to explore yourself . All the great scriptures like Gita, Astavakra gita, Narada Bhakit sutras, Vasishta ramayana , Patanjili . Ayurveda ...etc are great knowledge to explore . But unfortunately Mr Gogineni made some immature comments about some of them above . This is pathetic to dishonor our own culture. Instead of targeting one culture and explore what our ancestors given to us based on thousands of years of experience based wisdom . If you need get some scientific clues watch Ancient aliens by History channels to get some scientific answers , you will get surprised . This show was 10 hrs about hindu gods and rituals , but it is just a tip of iceberg to feel yourself convenience
These guys says they are against religion but always target Hindu culture. Don't get trapped in this and move forward with what was give and add your experience to it . The other wise our society gets mislead and end up salves of drugs and alcohol
