One thing I’ve learned since I started cutting hair is that have to use what works for you. There are no bad tools made by barber specific companies. Wahl, Babyliss, Gamma/Stylecraft, JRL, Caliber all make good tools. Get whatever you’re comfortable using style wise, shape wise, tech wise and price wise. I would suggest caliber and gamma for beginners bc of the price and customization. They have different blades you can try to figure out what works for you. Love the video nonetheless, keep putting out dope content ✊🏽
im a barber with 30 years behind the chair & i would like to commend u on ur videos. & i have to agree completely on the trimmer recommendation... the babyliss fx skeleton trimmer is amazing! (i have tomb45 batteries for my fx clippers, but i really wish they would make a battery for the fx trimmer, but i hear the new "boost" is supposed to have a updated battery in it?) & with their selection of deep or shallow tooth blades u can set u more than one if u would like... which is why i have 2 clippers & 3 trimmers, for when a battery dies, of for a taper vs fade blade... & just my 2 cents worth, i do alot of shear work & i woud highly recommend "yoi scissors" ...rum barber turned me onto them & theyre an awesome affordabe shear... & i do love my expensive shears, but for a beginner (or veteran) the yoi's would be money well spent & serve u well for many years to come... recent subscriber, thank u sir

If this was beginner friendly the magic clips would be in this because of the price . A beginner shouldn’t spend so much on a 150$ senior or a 170$ babyliss clipper if they are not even sure they are going to make profit
I'm a former cosmetologist who took a long break. I want to go to barber school and get both licenses. I'm wayyyyyyy out of practice and never touched clippers. I'm sure I can still make magic with a good pair of scissors. Clippers facinate me. Cosmetology schools don't go into them very deeply. But I went back in the 80s. I think getting a barber license will be great. I'm an old lady but I'm more confident than ever in my life.
@@amirasama8506 I sent the application to state board to reinstate my cosmetology license. I take the cosmetology law test in about 3+ weeks. I will then be able to take my practical. I'm studying on my own and it will save me money. I may just see what I can do as a cosmetologist before I try barber jobs. In Tennessee where I live, I can do a lot with a cosmetologist license. I'm more interested in the nail business anyway. A cosmetologists can work in a nail salon and do everything a manicurist can. I just won't get the experience with clippers or shaving. I would like to learn how to use clippers, I will have to learn on my own or from an employer. Truthfully, I'm not as interested in beards. A cosmetologist doesn't work with them. Just like a Barber won't do a pedicure. My goal is either a salon that caters to mostly women or both men and women. There are a few men who like longer hair and want a stylist to cut it...IDK. It for me is about getting to work and start making money.

Experienced barbers will tell you the senior is superior than the fx clipper in every way shape and form. The fx trimmer is the best! Along side the new fx3 trimmer also from babyliss.

i would say wired clippers are better for a beginner who might take to long on a cut and kill the battery.
My first pair of clippers were some clippers called fade king. Wireless and the battery last like 5 hours

powder on a duster just gets the hair of better and aftershave is better after a cut because it closes pores from being opened from a cut
