  • Look. You’re clearly a startup founder searching on UA-cam for answers and advice. Why? Because startups are confusing. How do I know? I’ve been working in, on, and around startups for 30 years - and mentoring startup sand providing advice to founders for more than half that time.
I’ve made a lot of mistakes as a founder and as a mentor. But I’ve also gained some incredibly valuable startup insights. So I'd love to help you by answering your startup questions or providing you with advice on being a founder.
But it's not like the typical UA-cam startup advice. Why…? It’s happened that's happened entirely outside of the Bay Area / Silicon Valley. (IMHO There’s the Bay Area. And then there’s everywhere else.)
But honestly you probably wound up here because of one specific startup question. So here’s what I’m asking of you: take a second to comment. I want to hear the question that you’re asking. There's no such thing as a dumb question. I’m not going to make fun of you. I’m not going to dunk on you.
I want to hear your startup questions. Especially if you’re building a startup outside of the bay area.

Let's get your questions answered. I mean, I don't know everything. Far from it. But I have spent a significant amount of time working with founders and startups outside of the Bay Area. So if the Silicon Valley startup advice doesn't seem to be helpful to you, please comment with your questions and I'll do my best to get you the answers you need.
