Thank you very much Doctor Webster! It's such a well-timed upload on your part as I'd just been done with watching your video on the circle of Willis, as well as the approaching exam on this subject.
Clear and understandable explanation as always, God bless you!~

Interesting as I have had surgery to correct an aberrant right subclavian artery and thoracic outlet syndrome. Part of the 3 procedures was to move the vertebral artery. I also had a kommerells diverticulum for which I have had 2 overlapping stents put into my aorta to prevent blood flow to it.

I currently have at my c2/c3 a vertebral artery dissection with hematoma and severe stenosis of the artery.
Happened after an injury, and my migraines suddenly got much worse and I started having blind spot auras (which was not normal for my migraines) since this injury as well.

I have a dissection of the vertebral artery- will it heal on its own? How long will it take ? Will it be sensible to easily tear now?

do you know how it happened?
I have a dissected Basilar artery. Healed is a tough question to answer. My dissection essentially clotted and completed blocked the artery.

    Hi doctor
I was wondering if all of your knowledge about human anatomy……. Have ever made you wonder (is it possible that all of these are just some natural phenomena?? Or there is Someone powerful enough to bring them into existence)
    Thanks
Hopefully you will start working on it

The neck seems poorly designed. We need thicker necks for all these tubes, nerves and bones.

You only talk about the subclavian run to the c6 and the entering into the transverse foramen, you didn't talk about the artery to the thoracic, lumbar, sacrum and coccyx. are they not part of the vertebral?
