    Best video instruction! At 75 I've been playing since retirement. I have hundreds of hours of UA-cam instruction. Mostly instructors blah blah blah a lot, or want the viewer to see how wonderful they hit a ball. Very minimal real step buy step teaching. You are the opposite! You make a point, then reinforce the point with a slow example.
    At the end it's all put together, even using slo-mo. Thank you! Big fan!

    Michelle, thank you! I am now aware of why you demonstrate the chest rotation in your full swing video. The progression of practice through the movements is enabling me to feel the movements in transition. You have made playing more fun and relaxing. The movements in your golf swing videos are more impressive, nuanced and athletic than I understood. Appreciated!!!

    Nice! I found my down swing improved dramatically when I stopped trying to stretch back to my limit. I go back to what I feel is 3 quarters, but that position itself is actually a full one, then when your not feeling stretched like a rubber band the down swing just falls into place on its own. Thank you Michelle for your efforts!

    Hi Michelle, thank you so much for you videos. Another one which will be useful to me to build and stabilise my swing. I was wandering what I was doing wrong in my downswing. Michelle, your rotation exercises (the leg behind the knee) were great for understanding how you swing in balance. It enabled me to feel what proper inner thigh 'rotation' creates. Completing the back and down swing is relatively simple once one can feel the influence of the inner thigh move in balance.
    You are on to something "very important for senior" golfers and teaching. Why? 'Most senior' golfers have some level of vision, flexibility and balance issues which limits their ability. We "need your swing", which is built upon a platform of balance (your thigh rotation/balance drill).
    Your exercise video was an epiphany. It proved to me that your swing sequence is great for good reason. Think about enabling senior golfers move in balance. We will improve beyond imagination.
    Even your putting video is perfect for seniors. Many of us do not dare droop our head and eyes because we get dizzy. Maybe you can copyright a senior golf package and advertize with your team because no one has a better method or swing.
    Needless to say, this package could also be modified for younger audiences.

    Michelle, a few hundred practice balls, playing and then watching the video over again is helping improve my grasp of the sequence. I also am 'glad' you emphasized the importance of your left leg (takeaway) position and movement. Practicing that leg movement really helped create the feel and balance of the left side. It helped me find the left shoulder position you wanted. Irons are pretty easy. The driver sequence positions have taken more work. I approach practice in steps. The described drills, hit 40 drivers quit when the club speed increases without more effort. After the latter, switching to a seven iron seems to improve the rhythm. Thanks for the patience.

  • @guyr7351
    @guyr7351 3 роки тому

    Cracking video, I am a classic over the top swing, not too bad with short irons and can hit a very consistent ball. Longer clubs when in your head your thinking distance is the aim the over the top can kill the strike. I know when I swing properly and legs and body in sequence the feel of the impact is so much better and 20+ yard is easily gained.
    Your explanation / demonstration is really good and something I’ll now be trying to put into practice previously I have tried to work by thinking leave the club and hands at the top of the swing and get the legs and body moving.

    Thank you! This has made me think about the feeling as I often find myself on my back foot when I finish. So now I realize when I turn on my backswing, I eventually will end up shifting back into my lead foot and thats when I then try to start my downswing since I'm already heading forward.

    Michele that is a superb visual. The lines across your body are really helpful visuals. I will bookmark and begin practicing. Your swing is really top shelf!!!

      @@michelelowgolf7501 That video is really well done and sequence using the rod is easily practiced. It appears that your right upper thigh initiated that most 'subtle' bump towards the rod. Is that bump assumption correct? For sure the rest of the swing just follows naturally. Too bad you can not be with us on the course for everyone.

    It's definitely a "bottom up" motion to start the downswing but for me the 'feel' is of my right side doing a 'crunch' where the right shoulder & arms drop down in a 'one step motion' where the RE retains its bend. On video, this feel shows good lower body action as well. The golf swing is nothing if not endlessly fascinating.
