    I've always been afraid to do a high fade self cut because of the little margin for error. This videos instructions were so easy to follow and my self cut actually turned out good! Best self cut I've ever done so far. Thank you!

    Ok 1 biggg ass question with multiple questions lol..
    Why not jus continue to move up from scratch to the #2 guard open?? Like no guard lever closed to set base line. Followed by no guard lever open to set 1st guideline. Then followed by half, #1, #2 guards with lever open to set guidelines. Then coming back from scratch and open up lever as you fade up?? Why skip the step for?? Is that just your preference cause the way ijust layed it out seems like ill get the same outcome just less confusing following it step bu step instead of skippin and bouncing back n forth at that point?
    If im missin something i would appreciate the feedback 🙏🏾

    Can you explain to me why do you skip the half guard closed and also the 1 guard half way and closed

    • @KingIssy
      @KingIssy 2 роки тому +3

      Half guard closed is similar to the no guard open. That's what he does at the end using the corners to get rid off the bottom line. He uses the 1 open to get rid of any line left above the half open but if that doesn't get the line fully out he does close his lever abit until he gets the line out

    • @jasonalvarez4225
      @jasonalvarez4225 2 роки тому +1

      How come he also went from 1.5 open to 2 open ? Why didn’t it go from 1.5 open to 2 closed to 2 half way open to 2 open ? Wouldn’t there be a line hard to take out if you’re going straight from a 1.5 open to 2 open ?

  • @darealmikeg
    @darealmikeg 2 роки тому +3

    That was complicated cuz of skips in guards sizes. I mean 0, 1, 1.5, 2, 3 would have been easier. But I understand that may be the best way to down fade certain hair types. Just got to let people know about that stuff

  • @Kaykelly06
