Can a friend do missions without me when we are online? Or if he can start missions by himself when I'm the host?
If the host of the session is online, anyone can start quest. Quest and rewards are shared between all players. If your friend is not the host, and you are not online.. he can't do anything without you as the game is not up.
Did you experience any player tethering? If so, what was the approximate range?
We never noticed any tethering. My friend Soul was the one running off in later videos and never noticed a range that he had to stay near me.
Do you share the same world with your friends regardless of who is online? Or is one person's world that everyone joins?
It is the host's world and up to 3 others join the host. You need the host to continue the game and can't play without the host.
do u make your own bases or do u have to build one together?
You can build multiple settlements, but you set the others as outposts in solo. I believe it is the same in co op with secondary settlements beiny labeled as outposts for gathering resources not available in main area.
Is it better to attack bandits with your villagers or co-op buddies or to go at it alone?
Well, considering 3 of us got beat by 3 bandits.. numbers we needed... or luck.
@@Yamun_Khan i had a 3 npcs and me atack 3 bandits and lost the fight lol so i this i need a few more
@@adragon2370 I hear you there. They can be brutal for sure. We had standard hand axe when we fought them. I engaged some in my single player game, but I usually die to them lol
@@Yamun_Khan ye i only had standard axe 1 npc had the elm bow and didnt even use it lol

So, how does coop work in this game? Do you need to rent a server 24/7? Host a free game with another?
It works like single player, you just pick to bring up the game in Co Op mode. You can start a game in single player, and pick to load it as game in Co Op. I don't know if can rent a server, so host was the one sharing the game to the others at moment.

@brodienelson7493 I tried it with one of my friends who was playing with me. So when I brought up the game, the other players are all standing where they logged off. They don't disappear.. nor do they lay down. My buddy logged in and found himself where he was, and still had his gear. Quest might be tied to main player hosting.
