I've been following Ben for 10 years now and been to so many of his gigs, but this was definitely one of my all time favourites. Him and the band were just in such good shape and the atmosphere was phenomenal. The setlists and little laughs and talks made me so happy, just couldn't stop crying. 💙
End of Spirit was pretty amazing to watch and quite emotional. Recognition.

Was lucky enough to be there, front row (for which I had to arrive 6 hours early. Although I’m not complaining, I caught bear’s den while waiting for Ben’s act) and it was just perfection.

Watching this from Vancouver BC Canada. Looking forward to seeing Ben in November. I have followed him since day one. I love the new album. Ben genuinely seems happy and I am so happy to see India again.
Its so nice to see them all together again! I managed to see them in 2015 in van and will be at the show in November too. Counting down the days!

The realization of what happened to Ben and how he describes it in his music on the new record is just such a remarkable thing, completely fascinating. I keep immersing myself in his poetry and the emotions he expresses through his singing. 'I walk on my own, violence arrives just the same, and I walk on my own (spirit... Is it?) nah, it's just sublime. Thank you for creating so much magic.💙

Every time I watch a live performance of Ben's, I fall deeper in love with his music. was first introduced to his music back in 2011 in Egypt with his Every Kingdom Album. never in my life have I found all people in the band having this much fun.
I wish I could attend a live performance of his one day and be awed the same way i'm always awed when I watch his live performances here. Thank you Ben

Really nice to see Ben is playing songs from former albums in his sets more often even from Every Kingdom. Was missing that when I last saw him during I Forget Where We Were tour :) The mix is perfect, as the new ones are an evolved sound.

He had the 2 strokes last year, not this year. I couldn't help but think about that when I was there at Werchter. Ben is 9 months younger than me, I was really shocked to hear that. First time I saw him live, very intense and unforgettable show.

The Spirit part when he talks to the audience is gold 😂 What an astonishing show...I'd give anything to go back in time to be there.
It seems like the Glastonbury experience has flipped a switch in him in regards to how to engage with a non-intimate audience. There are clips from recent shows after Glasto where he also does the sing-along bit & casually talks, jokes around and explains the general vibe for the gigs and introduces songs.
I think it was adorable haha I really like seeing different sides to him over the years. Always a curious person and I admire him for that

Imagine being such a incredible and confident singer that you play with pitch "imperfects" to add the vibe of the record of "is it". And then tighten the vocals up for "in dreams" "the fear", "small things" ect. 😍

It made me SO SAD to see the announcement this morning - that the decision had been made to cancel the US and Canada shows. Came to UA-cam to get a BH fix for my soul. This show is the ultimate salve. Will be in line to buy another ticket when he reschedules Denver, Colorado. Or anywhere!! My daughter and her roommate had tickets for the Los Angeles show. It'll hold.

Gosh! This is such a great performance. I am so sad that I only discovered Ben Howard in 2018 after they had toured South Africa about 8 years ago. Doubt they will return here anytime soon 😭

I thought that Casino de Paris was the best live performance ever from him, but this one was simply astonishing.
He came to a level as an artist where he's not entirely bound to his recent work on his tours, he's merging his old work with the new and it's simply beautiful and mesmerizing.

It upsets me how he says that was the only place he enjoyed the noonday tour
Oh man what he said about noonday dream bummed me out. I was at the noonday dream concert in Copenhagen and people were SO dreary and were just standing there looking displeased that he didn't play his old songs or whatever ( then again Danish people tend to just stand around at concerts looking displeased, people always look at me weirdly for dancing and enjoying myself) Ben Howard looked like he just wanted it done with but performed amazingly anyhow. Even with all the racist shit coming out of Denmark and Denmark just in general being a shitty nation I don't think I've ever been more embarrassed of my country men 😅
I don't understand why a lot af people didn't seem to get noonday dream I think it was a masterpiece.
Got tickets for the next concert in Copenhagen in June and I'm bummed that it's a seated concert but hey if people are just going to stand still and look dreary you might as well get them a fucking chair 😂
yeah its a shame not many people enjoyed ND. It was the same at London Brixton and Dublin 3Arena. I still think the album is a genuine masterpiece and what I witnessed live was magical

Am I noticing an absence of Collections From the Whiteout in his tour?
There is a lot from Collections? Finder’s Keepers has been played many times, also Follies Fixture and Metaphysical Cantations. There are no Noonday songs, though, is that what you meant?
There's no Whiteout songs on this particular performance but he's generally been doing 4 from Whiteout, 4 from IFWWW, a couple from EK and the rest being Is It.
He had just an hour long time slot to fit in his performance, so had to limit his set list. He usually plays Promise during this summer’s tour too, but couldn’t fit it in this show because of the time crunch.
@@lordgrums7414 maybe those performances have gone under my radar. I'm glad I'm wrong, though. I'll have to search a little more. It's exciting to know there are renditions I've not yet heard.
