How To Bake Easy DELICIOUS COOKIES -Best Tea Time Snack!

These cookies are one of the best homemade tea-time snacks. They are easy to prepare and are delicious. They taste sweet and salty because of the sugar in the cookies and jam that holds the salty pistachio nuts (laughing nuts). They have different textures, the crunch from one part of the cookie and nuts, softened on the parts brushed with jam and chewy where chocolate dipping is dipped. *They are made with oil instead of butter. You may use butter if you prefer it. I hope you will enjoy them.
Bake 180°C standard oven and 160°C for 15 minutes
Tip/s
Melting chocolate in a microwave
melt the chocolate in the microwave stirring every 10 seconds intervals, stirring until few blocks of chocolate are left. Once few blocks of chocolate are left, do not microwave it further, stir until it melts entirely.
INGREDIENTS
1 extra large egg
1 tsp Vannila
60g, 4 3/4 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp, pinch of salt
40g, 4 tbsp or 1/4 cup cornstarch
60ml vegetable oil
3g baking powder, 1 tsp
240g APF flour, 2 cups flour as per the recipe but I used 1 1/3cups cake flour to get the results
Optional:
2 ounce dark or any baking chocolate
Peach jam
Pistachio nuts
