If you put it on translate to English it has the bot calling him Heather lol 😂
Translation bot: Grug--> Heather 😂😂
@@dochellsing304 lol. It just switched for a moment to Heather and back and I was very confused. I thought I had a brain fart and I hallucinated the Heather part. 😂
Its Heather obviously XD
Bruh hearing grogs voice Crack when talking to pike about almost killing her grandpa hit different
I got a beard!
That's all?
I. GOT. A. BEARD!
The herd of storms was only made of Goliaths until Kevdak killed the leader of the River Maw tribe of barbarians. That's when the Herd became more diverse
A cruel and sadistic Golaiath, but he was inclusive.😂 A warrior is a warrior in his eyes.
gotta love greg
Imagine being introduced to Grog as a “brother”
“And this is Grog *he’s adopted*”
Imagine courting Pike and being introduced to Grog as the prospective brother-in-law. Or when Pike has a daughter and Grog is introduced as the protective uncle.
you forgot the Belt of B'ea'rd...
increases toughness by 12,
increases charisma by 6,
wisdom by two.
known side effect:
wearer grows a beard
And he's the only one who had his soul not once but twice taken from him by a cursed sword.
I thought it was hard for goliaths to grow beards
It is. However Grog got a Dwarf belt that let's him grow one. And it's not just hard, it's physically impossible.
@@toxicdemon1315 yes, but why do so many of the other goliaths in the clip have them?
@@ariaflame-au The ones with beards in this particular clip are all different artists' depictions of Grog. Though the cartoon "Legend of Vox Machina" chose to ignore the bit about Goliaths not having hair.
@@Blazieth plus I don’t think they ever refer to grog as a “Goliath” in the show. Just a half giant
@@ToxicWaffle183they don't because of copyrights. Same reason why Vax killed "definitely not beholder" and why none of deities are called by their name
I love this character he's my favorite seeing him grow and finding his strength was amazing😊
Actually, Pike is Wilhand's Great-Great-Granddaughter
i think theirs two more greats
@@kevind3974 nope. just two greats.
He got a beard!
Protect the lil'ns.
Ogryns for life!!
My dude, your the best.
Remember guys. He got a beard.
Bro looks keatos, deity of battle
I get it but god damn no tiberius
How do people make this kind of animation?
Greg
Technically he is a barbarian and Pike is Wilhand's great great grand daughter. But s thats just me being a pedant. Great video!
He is a barbarian and took some levels in fighter later on
@@dungeonlootarmory yep 😀
TECHNICALLY he’s a Path of the Berserker Barbarian with a Battle master Fighter multiclass.
And Vecna
It sounds like it's narrated by Kevin Conroy
Nice
Phillip!
Yo these 2D things forced into 3D look so bad this video is funny by accident
Isn’t a pike a fish?
It is a fish and a weapon. 👍
@@undervoices7127 how does a fish make a… nevermind
Anime D&D
He looks like Kratos
He technically got the beard before kratos
Bautista?
Um actually, grog is a barbarian
I hate myself for typing this.
Yes, he is a barbarian and he took a couple level in fighter in the later games
@@dungeonlootarmory you right, he did take 3 levels of fighter at lvl 15,16,17 respectively. (You can see the official character sheets online through critrole stats)
Really comes down to how you refer to a multi class character, do you refer them them by the primary class or the secondary they picked up later.
@@Labyrinthfox I usually refer to the primary class then the secondary, just like Barbarian/Fighter for Grog.
Um actually, grog is a barbarian fighter, he multi classed. So the video is correct.
Kratos from Wish
He had a beard before kratos did
I don't think Pike was the one who saved Grog. At least in the animated version, it was a gnome with black hair. I assumed Pike's mother.
Pike had black hair before she was bisected and brought back
It was Pike
It was Pike.
In the actual D&D campaign she got killed in battle and when reviving her, her hair turned white.
Yeah, they should have established that fact in the show. I like that they have Easter eggs for fans of Critical Role, but they shouldn’t be directly interfering with communicating the story to the audience.
@@frenchfriedbagel7035100% they will show this later as call back. Probably when pike will get her vestige. Because there is no way they would put this only for stream fans leaving all the others confused
@@Just_a-guy pretty sure there’s only 4 vestiges.
@@frenchfriedbagel7035 sorry for spoilers but no. Everyone gets one vestige. And you can argue that Percy makes his own weapon and Kiki gets power up after every part of her aramenté but then pike would be just "weak" :p
Its not the same planet as the forgotten realms where faerun is at
