All his fantasies involve a girl Muttley. Poor Muttley is just horny! If Dastardly got a girl dog to be his girlfriend he would be able to focus on work 😂
I love this stuff! It takes me back to a simpler happier time. Definitely better commercials back in the 70s and 80s! Wow! Great to see everyone's comments! I had no idea so many people felt nostalgic over this! I thought I was the only one. Hahahahaha!
Great and fun time to be a kids. Children these days are being cheated thanks to a more hostile and politically correct culture. Most cartoons these days are geared towards adults, it sucks to be a kid now smh.
What a perfect time-capsule of my childhood! I grew up on WPIX. By 1979, I was in 6th grade listening to albums, riding bikes, and hanging out with my friends, but WPIX was the best sitter for my little brother and sister! I did love Josie & the Pussycats and Battle of the Planets!
This is soooooo cool! Takes me back to a much simpler time in my life when I would come home from in the evenings and watch TV for a while… as well as on Saturday mornings. The awesome thing about these clips are the commercials. Seeing all of them brings so many childhood memories.
Your killing it with 79 bro. Something about the music and sound effects that filmation used during this Era is just burned into my brain. Straight nostalgia
I remember waking up to Mighty Mouse on weekdays in ‘79. I started kindergarten that year and it was comforting to hear the MM theme as I was waking. Then came Battle of the Planets afterwards and then off to school. “G-Force!!!”
Wow does this take me back. being a kid in the '70's was glorious. I knew it even back then. When the '80's came in a shift took place - computers, a more money-oriented way of thinking. Everything began to change. I still long to go back, as foolish as that might be.
Thanks for sharing this. I remember watching these cartoons on that channel I'm from upstate New York channel 11 was one of my favorites for cartoons in the late seventies through early '80s. Thank you again. Very awesome. Lots and lots of great memories of great cartoons from channel 11

WPIX-11 ONLY aired the theatrical/television Mighty Mouse cartoons (1942-1961) and aired the classic Tom and Jerry shorts (1940-1967, plus singles from 1975) during the 1979-1980 season.
@@Rlotpir1972 The one that you see instead is the Filmation “Mighty Mouse” cartoons instead of the original theatrical ones that Terrytoons did at the time. That’s a big mistake. WPIX-TV (channel 11) ran the original “Mighty Mouse” theatrical cartoons while CBS ran the Filmation “Mighty Mouse” cartoons on Saturday morning as part of an hour long show called “The New Adventures of Mighty Mouse and Heckle & Jeckle” in 1979. But when WPIX-TV ran the original Mighty Mouse cartoons, they used the opening and closings for “Mighty Mouse Playhouse” which was the color version from 1965-66 along with the bumpers. As for “Tom & Jerry”, not great, but they should’ve used the original theatrical cartoons, but instead, you get the Filmation “Tom & Jerry” cartoons from 1980 through 1981 which was part of the “Tom & Jerry Comedy Show”, and the opening and closing came from 1975 which was the HB era, and it was part of the “Tom & Jerry/Grape Ape Show” on CBS. They should’ve ran the theatrical T&J cartoons from MGM since WPIX-TV (channel 11) ran at the time, but they can’t due to copyright issues from WB. But the problem, the promos for “Tarzan” and “I Love Lucy” are from another TV station elsewhere not New York City. “I Love Lucy” was on WNEW-TV (channel 5).
We used to get WPIX channel 11 on our cable system in the 70’s and I remember Penelope Pitstop cartoons the most from that time!! I think when cable was new there was TBS from Atlanta, WPIX and WOR from NYC and another station from Boston I forget the call letters. WPIX was dropped by our cable company but WOR held on for a while and of course TBS is still on but not a local channel anymore.
i was one in 79. Its kinda cool to see something from past of local channel. WPIX 11 has been one of the channels have had for years here in NJ. Now a CW channel

Who else rode their mini-bike through the house because of the Banana Splits! I remember I had to open every window and door to get the 2-stroke oil smell out of the house before my mom got home.
This is an awesome channel!!!! I wonder if you have the Syndicated theme version of the Marvel SuperHeroes from 1979. It was not the original theme music from 1966, which I have seen on YT. Anyways for kids from the 70's and 80's Local TV stations, like WPIX- TV and Metromedia Stations (for me would have been Ch. 5) were as important as the Sat. morning Network shows!! Keep up the good work!!!
I remember when the channel callsign was WIIC. Things like this and another WIIC/WPXI favorite "Chiller Theater" were killed when the networks decided to assume more control of the airtime.
Wow, this is so many fucking memories. I used to live in Coney Island smoke weed watch channel 11 honeymooners Star Trek motherfuckers brought memories.
This video looks to have more than just WPIX clips here. Several of the commercials and promos have logos that do not match anything WPIX ever used, and I see some references to the Dallas/Fort Worth TX area. Im guessing these clips were recorded off KTVT channel 11 in Dallas/Fort Worth.

@@MoneMediaHello there! Thank You for posting this videoclip from my childhood and teenage time!

Don't forget amount the sweets & chocolate bars that were also better..
Agreed, great times to grow up. 60s were great for toys in cereal boxes or send in a box top.
That is correct sir.

A great throwback collection you posted here bro. Loved watching Channel 11 WPIX back in the day as a kid growing up in New Jersey.

Good old day of TV! They need to bring this back
This is my childhood. Thanks Mone Media!! Appreciate what you’re doing on this channel! 🙏🏾

Even the commercials were better than. Miss those carefree days of my youth.
No RX med commercials, no social media, fun breakfast commercials and people looked healthy and more real.
I was 9 when this came out! thank you for the commercials!! happy happy times!!
