Thanks so much for posting this. Was recently nearly stuck in the snow in the middle of nowhere while trying to pull someone out and had nothing with us other than a small shovel and a tow rope. Going to need to get all of this.
Great Kit! I'm not sure what you keep in your emergency kits, but a nice cheap addition would be a thermometer and a pulse oximeter. You could also keep a blood pressure cuff and stethoscope if you wanted to have good clinical information for evaluating anybody who may fall ill out on the trails. Just my thoughts as an Emergency Department RN. If you need recommendations on that kind of gear, just ask.
Awesome set up🤙🏼 I feel like drawers are a game changer. Especially deep ones like yours. This are a must have. Great video as always and please keep the content coming!
I just found your channel from over here is BC..looks like you're well prepared..I also carry too much stuff but it always comes in handy..a couple things i always have are Gorilla tape (the small rolls usually) and a few feet of bailing wire ..also a couple small ratchet straps
Great video and really love what you’ve done to your GX. Some heavy wire never hurts too. I know that you mentioned having metal zip ties but sometimes wire is more versatile to work with.
1. Can you make a video Cost of your build and if you have already which video did you discuss it in. 2. Have you thought about getting a secondary fuel tank in place of the speare and move the spare to the tail gate? Great project! Saving up for a build :)
Thanks! Il try and make a video on the cost breakdown, also yeah I have thought about putting in a long range tank but thats probably down the road quite a ways.
Awesome vid. Never needed a spare CV? Or just not yet? I don't carry here in GA since we are never far from a tow, but I know y'all in the north have super remote areas where towing is not an option.
Nice Rig!!! It's a shame CBI doesn't make a rear bumper set up for the GX. Metal tech makes nice ones though...if you're inclined to get a rear bumper...as well as Coastal Offroad but you have to weld it on yourself...✌
@@LoganKingMedia I just saw your video "Making the Lexus GX470 into the ultimate offroad rig!" Disregard my comment. You can make your own bumper!!! LOL... On a side note...think I can get away with your front bumper in Cali?
@@LoganKingMedia Do you have an approx weight of what youve got on the back/roof right now? I have the eibach in the garage. I might try to order their medium duty springs or buy some spacers
Not wanting to be that guy in the comments thats always negative , but i dont know why something seems off about it to me . Thinking of it i think its that the front is so cool and agresive that the stock roundish bumper makes the rear look lower and squatty ... Idk , 🤷♂️ its just me maybe 😅
Great work. Love to see fellow Calgarians rising up in the overlanding media world with better production values like this channel!
Much appreciated!
This guys is singlehandedly bring the GX470/GX460 to life
No, he is making it more expensive for me to to get a good one when it comes time for me to get my next Toyota (lexus).
Don't actually care, cause I can afford it, and love his rig.
Haha thanks!

Thanks for the great recommendations!
Love the rig setup man as always. Your back setup with the custom drawers is so awesome
Thanks bro!!
Good to know you're prepared for those nature dumps!
😂
I have a alot of the same items as you, I also built a hidden shotgun compartment and small lockable safe for ammo into my drawer system just incase.
That is epic!
I like the sounds of that👍🏼 never a bad idea to pack some heat.

We need more off-road videos!!!!
After the roof rack install Il be doing more soon!!
Roof rack is going to look dope!
Great gear review. It reminded me I need to throw in some new JB Weld. Excellent video !!
Thank you!

Thanks! Il for sure look at adding some wire I also forgot to add a ratchet strap or two.
Nice overview!

Link that electrical wiring kit that comes with wire cutter/stripper.
Just by watching I can see your MPG going down to zero!

Thanks! Yeah I was looking at the coastal one I have a buddy that could help me weld it!

Great looking rig! How much weight do you think you can add before it starts impacting your offroad performance?
I love to storage build. Did you build the drawers or is the kit available retail?
Awesome rig, thanks for sharing! What size fridge was that? I noticed they make a ton of different sizes.
Thanks! This one is the 15 liter but I would suggest the 20 liter as its a little bigger since the lid allows for more stuff.
super leksus.👍
Any regrets so far with running 35s? I'm torn between 33s or 35s for my GX. Another great video, keep it up!
Thank you! No regrets here, fuel economy is probably worse but I don't really care haha
Yo kermie, i think chainsaw is overkill for a car. Handsaw however is sagacious. Your gx as modded and equipped is cool.
Thanks! Yeah I agree chainsaw is overkill for most trails.
great video, by chance do you have the link for the gauge that you show in the video to deflate the tires?
Thanks! Yes here you go: amzn.to/38hYaoM
im early, good video
Thanks!
Hey! I'm from calgry and looking to move into a gx460/470 from a 4runner. I'd love to meet up and learn a thing or two when we can get back to normal!
For sure!
Are you from 403 media? And you just started blackhouse cinema right? I work and Audi and was just talking to Elliot about Black house!
Awesome 👏
Thanks!
Where did you buy that platform from?
Nice dog 🐶
Thanks!
All in all how much would you say the suspension set up cost you?
$1600 roughly
No sliders?? 👀👀
Not yet :( hopefully making some in the next month
@@LoganKingMedia right on man! Huge confidence booster off road
This is cool. Subscride from Russia.
Any sagging in the rake with the weight in the rear with the Eibach? I know its happened before
Maybe a 1/4 inch, I do plan to switch to dobinson long travel in the rear once I have my spare rear tire mounted in the back.
@@LoganKingMedia Do you have an approx weight of what youve got on the back/roof right now? I have the eibach in the garage. I might try to order their medium duty springs or buy some spacers
Where's the gun drawer?
can you add that whole system in your website so i can just buy it? lol
Haha I tried to link most of it in the description of the video
Hey Logan why does red dog not take paypal :(
I can ask the owner, why did you want to use paypal? Do the other methods not work for you?
@@LoganKingMedia i like to use paypal credit its the best
Got a video recommended , now im binge watching 😅, lovely build .
Just wanted to ask , any plans for the back bumper ?

haha no worries! Yes Im planning to do something with the back bumper soon! The front is way more aggressive then the back right now lol
Awesome!!
