I was taught you respect everyone regardless of their social status because you don't know what some people have been thru and its free.
this and also bc even if that's where they're at rn you never know what God got in store for them. They could literally be your boss one day
Amen to that brother, love Ur pfp btw ❤
He’s not saying that fast food workers should not be respected but he’s talking about why they don’t usually get respect on a social spectrum, this is important to knowledge that you can see in real time
That's true but at the same time respect is earned 💯
If you Respect Everyone Your a little Beta who is gonna take BS all day FK dat Respect is Earned Period
I hate people that look down on others for the job they work. Most people want to work, get paid so they can live their life. Doesn't have to be their identity or worth as a person.
Shit is actually disgusting to me that so many people look down upon others for simply working a shitty job. Its bad character regardless
I enjoy this type of laid back content 😮💨🙏🏿
Fr not just him yapping about females 24/7 lol
Fr I was jus boutta say that
laid black content too xd
Fun Fact: Jen-Hsun Huang worked as a dishwasher and waiter at an eatery called Denny's from 1978 to 1983. Now he owns company called NVIDIA that is worth about $2.85 trillion. He is worth $118 billion, making him the 11th richest person in the world.
An exception not the rule
Man just named a anomoly lol
Everyone is an exception. No one person is alike.
@@myfakinusernamedosnt matter it’s not impossible to change your life. Many people give up most millionaires have 3 or 4 failed business. Not giving up is the most important thing

My first job was a retail job and it was working at CVS getting paid $15 an hour over here in NYC. Then a year later I got hired at Best Buy getting paid $16 an hour. Then Macy’s getting paid $17 an hour a year later. I personally never disrespected or looked down on any retail worker, even before I started working retail.
But I agree with everything that was said in this video! Don’t stay in retail & low income low skilled jobs. If you gotta work there temporarily then do it, but always be looking for ways to excel and level up like Austin said. Retail sucks!!!
I do think that fast food workers get treated worse than retail workers do.
@@AddisonVail I thought fast food chains were considered retail?
What do you do now
@@VivaLaFamous retail is stores generally.
@@WORKSbaby healthcare. It doesn't pay that well either but it's still an upgrade.
Please keep up these story-workout videos! 🗿
They're amazing 💯
Bro there so good to watch
💯
IMO no matter what you are doing, if you paying your bills and doing your thing I respect it
Bruh, what are you even talking about in this video. Just put the fries in the bag, bro.
XD
He just saying anything
Stop yappin, son.
💀
Goteemmmmm 😂😂😂
Wow, I have to say this video is a breath of fresh air. I’ll keep it real with you man I haven’t been watching you for years b/c I was tired of the female talk and it’s not all the time I like seeing how to workout. But THIS content, dropping wisdom and relatable to what this society is going through is something that makes me glad I opened UA-cam. Keep it up 💪
That negative conotation on fast food workers only comes from young people. Only young people see working fast food as demeaning. They also see Janitors that way too. Nobody respects a janitor, its all about perception. Its not about actual low economic value, its giving the perception of low economic value. If you're a district manager of a fast food chain, you're making well over 6 figures and still working in the stores from time to time.
Actually one of your better videos
If the industry you have skills or an education in collapses, you will quickly find yourself at one of these “unskilled” jobs. Nobody is above anybody, always remember that.
Exactly, I feel like this guy made a video trying to shame people. I have the upmost respect for any MAN or WOMAN who's working in the fast food industry. As an ADULT and/or a PARENT, you do what you have to do to survive! Aside from that, some people really are victims of circumstances! It's extremely hard to escape dysfunction and poverty when you're born into it! Everyone doesn't have a support system or a solid foundation to build on like this guy probably did. We all weren't sheltered.
I’m literally going through this exact thing right now. I’m 29 and stuck in life.. I didn’t graduate college and I’m working 2 jobs. One as a bartender and the other as a maintenance technician. I’m so tired of doing this shit.. I’m ready to elevate my life
Sometimes fresh starts can help (idk if you already tried my bad if you did) fresh starts can be a rough start, getting rid of everything from my past items, certain people, once it’s all gone it’s helped me realize how much stuff I was holding onto bottling up, that shit keeping me stuck
If that's you in the thumbnail then you could definitely pursue something in fitness.
I have really been liking the last 3 videos you"ve been uploading. As a 21 year old i feel like i am getting a lot of value and guidance from your videos, i have also been watching your chalistetiics videos for years, but i just wanted to say that i am appreciating the new style of videos.

I’m 28 joining the Air Force for a cyber or civil engineering job. After realizing I wasn’t going anywhere with a professional dance career after Covid I decided to enlist earlier this year. I moved to another state trying to figure things out 4 years ago and nothing really came of it but being shit broke and no friends (because everyone in my tax bracket is degenerate) so I’m making sure to take action now so that I’ll be good in my 30s
Take advantage of EVERY opportunity presented to you! Invest in the GI Bill, AND USE IT ONCE YOU GET OUT! Save as much money as you can! Oh, and go to sick call (the doctor) whenever ANYTHING hurts
You know you’ve grown up when you realize the teachers that taught you were unsuccessful and those same unsuccessful teachers are teaching your kids how to be “ successful “
Education has nothing to do learning how to be economically successful. The purpose of education is to re-instantiate civilization to the next generation.
I caught onto that when I was 16 that's why I didn't take school seriously
Having a teaching job is not “unsuccessful”
@@brettfulmer7784facts, such a low tier take that guy made
How is that unsuccessful?
Stop talking, and just make my video bro.

Fast food is usually for young people just starting out. Not a person trying to raise a family
Every Indian immigrant in Canada:
"I'm sorry, what?"
@@KahinAhmed72 😂
@@Jonathan-sm5oqIt’s the truth.
Young people jobs are taken over by middle aged immigrants stuck working a minimum wage job in Canada, it’s pretty bad here.
Bruh gets out of here with that mindset. There are plenty of good people who raise families that work in fast food stop being a disrespectful p.o.s.
@@wolfie8366nah he’s completely correct, unless your trying to become a supervisor/manager and move up in the company it’s not great to stay in a retail job as an adult, if you ask those people if they’d trade their job for something in another field they’d definitely switch in a heartbeat.
loved this more laid back/introspective video. Hope we get more of these
Growing up is realizing most teachers are unsuccessful themselves and as such not people worthy of taking advice from. Same with HS guidance counselors.
Always amazed me at how many people never stopped and thought “what does this person really know about anything?”
There are many coaches that create world champions who themselves are not world champions. In the end I would do what I would wanna do but I do listen to advice of anyone and then use my brain on it. If you don’t listen to anyone thinking they are not worth it. Then tbh you have still a lot to learn.
@@Propraj those coaches make it to the top and would be the equivalent of high level college professors if weighted the same.
Time is finite. Audit who you give your time and ears to
@@DoubleStudentLoansno they dont😂 some of the best coaches never even made it to the top
What's even more amazing is how many people never actually stop and think about anything.
You somehow missed the entire point of the video
Thats funny i worked at buger king and even people on welfare who had no jobs looked down on us 😂😂, also you can tell who they are by the way they scream and shout at the cashiers when orders go wrong.
Funny experience never took the job seriously like everyone else cause i was using them for experience. This video relates to me so much.
Dang that’s tough
Fast food looks brutal but some places seem more chill than others. I always treat them as equal because I've worked other low paying rough jobs and its tough to clock in everyday somewhere for pennies and breaking your back for them. But theres always a way out. Just do research, make a plan, and stayed disciplined (this is most important imo).
How tf someone on welfare have the audacity to bitch at people actually working?
Would love more introspective videos like this from you Austin 💪🏾.
Bro, that is true, but those people who look down on fast food workers there are no better than the fast food worker they can get their job loss as well but if somebody want to be disrespectful, they can get a big butt whooping and you also can find another job. Love you, bro.❤

Love the these new types of videos brother literally everytime you share something about your life I relate more and more. Keep up the hard work 💪🏽
Taking the Jacked and Stacked approach ifykyk
They actually made a video together before it w it was pretty popular
love the new vibe to the channel bro, wisdom and fitness is the perfect combo
Not gonna lie, you make a great point about those type of jobs requiring no skills and how people who continue in those fields are just comfortable in life, while barely being able to support themselves. Also, I think you're absolutely right about how moving out of your hometown is basically the deciding factor in whether or not someone is going to be successful in life, since it shows the ability to take risk and follow opportunities.
Overall, great video that a lot of us probably needed to hear.
Respect doesnt matter. Its about money. These people cant live. Thats the disrespect. No one cares what other people think of their job, its about bill getting paid dude. Your employers disrespect you, hate you, and they make it known, by taking advantage of you. You know it, I know it, the employer knows it. Theyre stuck, and they dont have another option. Theyre desperation workers. You should absolutely be able to pay your bills working a fast food job.
yo great video bro, I like this format
Damn. I needed this more than you could ever imagine.
Real shit 💯
That was a very nice video austin I like that one.
Love these sorta pondering voiceover workout vlog videos
I honestly enjoy these videos more as opposed to just the same old workout or dating tips.
Really like those videos keep at it
Great video! It actually aligns with some concepts I found in this book Magnet for Women by Borlest. It talks about how making small shifts in your behavior can really boost your confidence and attract the right people into your life. It’s more about self-improvement than anything else, which I found super interesting.”
I remember after finishing my master degree I was delivering food for like 4-5 months before getting a new job. I once delivered to a student dorm place and at the enrance some students were talking about a course I had done some time ago, so I asked em a tough question about it and you should have seen their faces. Sometimes the guy serving you food might be way more educated and smart than you so act like a decent human being and be nice to them.
I actually never heard of the terms: “the great separation after high school” and “just put the fries in the back bro” this was very informative.
podcast austin is the best
As long as you’re alive, capable, and willing, accomplish all the goals you want to, at least put in the effort
I've always DESPISED that phrase. What if I work at McDonalds, become a manager, find a way to own one, then two, three, four franchise locations? I'm now employing hundreds of workers, paying taxes. Another instance: working fast food doesn't have to be permanent! Scrubbing bathrooms doesn't have to be permanent.
just put the fries in the bag bro

Wow austin dunham I am interested in computer science too. I am navigating into software engineering too I am only 16 years old but I have been programming for 5 years man ever since I was in high school. But I realized that I do not need to go to college in order to get a job into it so I am gonna transition into it since I have 5 years experience in it and I have built projects as well
Good for you 😀
i have a BS and MS in Computer Science. I recommend you to major in Cyber Security instead. Computer Science isn’t as valuable now due to a huge influx. You can still have your programming skillsets but I would recommend Cyber Security, Aeronaticul Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering.
Congratulations
bro getting a CS job without a degree is significantly harder than it was pre-2020 where everyone could get in with just a boot camp. why would they hire you if they can hire anyone else with a degree? market is very bad entry-level wise
The programming market is very competitive now. You'll need to go to college if you want a chance.

That lowkey is so backhanded now that I’m older when a teacher was talking about that. I only like a few teachers from highschool, and that’s it. All of them have their mindset and opinion about which student they think would succeed.
Yup I had a teacher say I was gonna be flipping burgers in the future and retail jobs allowed me to pay for my own education and opened up better doors for me.
Before I even clicked on the video, I just knew this was one gonna hit deep.
This is the content we need
Well said I do agree with the fact that it's always good to change ur environment and move somewhere out of ur hometown it pushes u outside of ur comfort zone and forces u to grow
It doesn’t matter what someone is doing respect the fact that they have a job, that type of attitude is why people spit in your fries.
Exactly, all these clowns trying to shit on fast food workers don’t realize they been getting the special sauce mixed into their foods 😄😂😂. Like they think disrespect can only be transferred one way

AI is going to make all of obsolete
Only in low income and middle class neighborhoods AKA for the peasants. The rich will still have chefs, chauffeurs, and maids. Even worse they are the ones investing into this AI so us peasants have no jobs and have robots take them from us.
The rich will have no access to ai because they dont need to. They don't have jobs that require labor work. Its all investing and high earning jobs that they can do at home.

I've heard this with NBA players when they start discussing social or political issues with, "shut up and dribble."
It's a shit job that nobody wants to work.

Nice video bro
Fast food and retail are the worst first jobs ever.
Finding a waiter/server job that pays minimum wage + tips usually pays as much as an assistant manager role in fast food/retail.
When I worked as a server I was making $12 + tips and that usually came out to ~$18-20/hr on average, and upto 25 on the busiest weeks.
In NYC you can easily make 50k-60k as a waiter if you find a busy restaurant paying minimum wage ($15/hr).
I leveled up since then but I was working an entry level no skill job able to travel once to twice a year thanks to being a server 🙏🏾
Just put the handcuff in my hand bro, i mean officer.

I’d rather work as a cleaner than ever work at mac d’s. Not because i have lack of respect for fast food workers. But because I’ve seen too many times the unbelievable lack of respect everybody else gives them. It would just take one condescending tone or insult from a customer across the register before completely crashing out on them.
If you have no choice for a better job… choose the cleaner instead. It’s lowkey perfect for introverts anyways. No people. Just Put your headphones in and clean peacefully.
Yea this content really might get me back on the channel. I know the redpill and dating is what you blew up off of but I’m
So burnt out of the redpill I left that a long time ago
I’m never leaving my hometown, I’m not missing out on anything
The end looks like a video gameplay
The people don't realize is that that fast food job is my second job and I'm probably making more money than them
Already know this gonna be good from the title 😂
hes rigtht a seperation happens just after highschool, some folks work fast food or retail others go off to college or a apprenticeship. Those low fats food /retail jobs have very high turn over rates, usually people only last maybe 3-6 months tops, usually only managers are there for multuiple years usually .
Many of the people we look at for inspiration have and still do work as servants regardless of industry and regardless of wealth and rightfully so. Many of the people we draw inspiration from also draw their wealth off the backs of people they “don’t respect” however without those people they wouldn’t have wealth. Andrew teaches you not to be a simp however has you pay 100 per month to teach you how to “pimp” your girl while also running a cam business. Fitx makes fun of individuals who are not making 50K per month while also requiring those same individuals to pay him monthly…to roast them. The point I am making is be careful who you allow to infiltrate your mind for the very same person you seek guidance from could be the same individual who thinks of you as benefit them. Respect is free. You can say you don’t respect everyone but is that something to be proud of?
