This rsponse by Apostle Michael Orokpo is the best spirit-filled filled, mature and balanced response I have seen and watched on the "God does not bless" confusion by Dr Abel Damina. Apostle Michael Orokpo proved that wisdom is not a product of age, academic qualifications or academic intelligence. He proved that wisdom is truly a product of light that comes from God. Apostle Michael Orokpo is truly a gift to the African Church.
It takes a great deal of humility to acknowledge truth as its supposed to mean and to have a balanced and holistic view as God has shown in the Scriptures. God bless Pastor Boateng and Apostle Michael.
I listened to Dr. Well he never said God doesn't prosper but from scripture that richness of God isn't material things... No variations in God if you sell services u will make money.... I understand him through the Holy Spirit
It has to be balanced, God can bless you financially but you have to be doing something… not that you will sit down doing nothing and asking God to bless you
Just finished the video... Don't be put off by the length of the video. I think it was needful for Ps Gideon to do so and I think he gave a good response. And on Dr Damina, as much as I appreciate his fight against the prosperity gospel, using poor hermeuntics is not the way to go.
Abel Damina should know that we need God to prosper. While it’s true that we need skill and diligence to prosper we still his direction and Favour. God gave Isaac an idea during the time of famine that made him prosper he also said he gives us power to make wealth in the book of Deuteronomy. In Isaiah he said he teaches us to profit in fact he says without him we can do nothing. That unbelievers prosper is just God’s general benevolence to all his creatures. Prosperity is part of the divine package in Christ even though there are many merchandisers on the pulpit it doesn’t change our provision in Christ. We just have to make sure we don’t get deceived
We need life, good health and wisdom to even get out there to acquire the skill, money in the market place and even buy the app".. And even after acquiring all that, one most important thing we gain is fulfillment and peace.... And these, only God can give.🙏🏽 Thank you Sir for the work you doing.
What abel Damina is saying that we shouldn't be lazy by having that notion that God will provide you every Thing without hard working ,we should engage ourself in critical thinking on out to make wealth,we should divide Business to serving Jesus. God has giving a play ground to make weath.
God help your children, for how long, are we going to keep arguing & souls are wasting, even the ones, one thought are save/born again are saved from nothing.
Thankyou pastor Gideon. My take on this is that from what you have said and what both Dr and Apostle put out, we don't need to be Christians to succeed in life. I only need the common grace which is really common for everyone. It is what has worked for the richest people on earth after all. So, I only need God for salvation, all the other added graces are pointless becuase I can do without them. That is not to negate the God factor in our riches.
(Proverbs 3:16) in this verse you will get to know that wisdom is key when it comes to financial prosperity. When we observe the different types of wisdoms available in (James 3:14-17) we easily comprehend why people prosper financially in different ways.
You all don't understand Dr Abel Damina In simple terms he saying you can't stay in church and not work and say God will prosper u, and also a person who is already rich and doesn't know Christ you can't say come to Jesus will make you rich God's blessings in the scriptures are not perishable and material things do perish..
Adel Damina said God gave the system and principles to make money but he isn’t primary responsible for what you do to make or unmake money!so we thank him ! God gave trees is he responsible for you making furniture!pls
@Pastor Gideon your emphasis on common grace is enough to end all arguments. Apart from wealth, the Bible makes us to understand that Naaman the leper was a warlord because God gave him victory. Herod died because he failed to give God glory for oratory. How about Cyrus that found grace for the rebuilding of Jerusalem, even-though he never knew God? Thanks beloved! The balance is profound. Keep on keeping on!
God is everything about every man: HE provides a level playing ground for every one on earth..HE does not make one rich and the other poor. You become as rich or poor as you are based on the decisions you have taken in life. In all we must give thanks to God who strengthens us.
Dr. Damina fellowers can you please explain this verse for me May the (favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us- yes, establish the work of our hands. (Psalms 90:17)
Thank you for this video, Pastor Gideon. It’s really much turning around money. I always think about how the disciples lived in those days (they did not just pile up wealth for themselves, but looked out for one another). To me, if we, Christian, could show some love and care to one another all these will reduce. In the end it’s about being born again; it’s about having that relationship with Jesus, weather rich or poor, tall or short, sick or healthy.
Apostles Michael Orokpo said giving is one of the chanels for God prospering men: He mentioned 3: 1. Faith 2. Giving 3. Seeking the kingdom of GOD first He didn't say u must only give for GOD to prosper you
I love what AMO said but if u have listened to DAM too, he believers in your position but not totally. He is against a message that seeks to turn giving to MMM.
God is part of every part of our lives sir, the confession here is your explanation of the scriptures It is evident that God is part of our lives The prosperity gospel is not the same as god is not part of our lives
You see Gideon....Damina is saying the same thing you've analysed and it takes a good listener to understand that Damina says the same...his point of God dies not prosper people was clear.he refers to Christ riches is immaterial. On the other hand, Damina recognise that God already made the planet, and resources, tools for everyone to engage and make money. But Orokpo didn't understand the discuss before preaching and it seems Orokpo believes God is in the business of giving people rich which aids the transaction gospel preachers bcs this is how they have an avenue to preach sow seed and God will bless you which is a scam.So Damina is blocking every means to endorse this evil gospel by saying God doesn't prosper people so there's a context to it..
Bro not a scam at all.because it was clearly shown by examples in the bible how men give and God bless in return.remember the widow Elijah met who gave Elijah her last meal.elijah bless her and she never went poor again.is that not God physical blessing by riches
Wow!! Explained Pst Gideon. We Praise God For You In Christ Jesus. Indeed God Is Good, Gracious And Kind. May God Help Dr Abel Damina Some Scriptural Explanations Are Sometimes Extremely Dangerous.
Great insight, Pastor Gideon! Wealth ultimately comes from the Lord, and while ignorance and error exist, there are also deliberate efforts to mislead and trap God's people. Believers should remain steadfast in following all of God's commands as outlined in the Bible, provided they are not sinful, regardless of what any video preacher might say. It would be disastrous if someone took a blessing intended for a greater purpose like ministry and claimed it as their personal gain.
You people that are here shouting and clapping to orokpo...he says that God will prosper you financially if you have faith in God ...where do he got that one from the Bible?
Jesus directed Peter on where to put his net and catch plenty fish. If you monetize the fish Peter caught, would he not be a billionaire? Peter was already a professional fisherman, but was toiling that night till Jesus met him.
The explanation and application of "the Blessing of the Lord maketh rich" by Ap Abel is complete off the rail to mean the riches of His grace when that art of scripture is pre-grace period.
Proverbs 10:22 - Blessing of the Lord maketh RICH (Ashar in this passage refers to wealth not Grace or Mercy) 2 Corinthians 8:9 - Lord..though he was rich.. became poor that ye.. might be RICH (PLOUTEO in Greek meaning rich in resources and abundance of outward possession). God takes notice of any sacrifice from a good heart and reward abundantly. Examples are Widow of Zeraphat, Solomon, etc.
2 Corinthians 9:8 New King James Version And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
Thank u dear bro. U have made absolute bible sense 🙌 Here's d problem with Damina, he has some things to say dat are accurate(if u like informational) unfortunately he's got dis other stuff dat are simply just sensational. Stuff dat cannot be completely justified by scripture. Dats where I get very uncomfortable. I think it's d way he gets his attention (another form of charlatan strategy?...penticostal voodoo?) Perhaps
Dr Abel Damina is 💯 right. Apostle Orokpo is just being emotional. There's no where Dr. Damina didn't give glory to God,he says God has set systems and u have to engage them to make wealth. Also everyone who engages in these systems can make wealth. The gospel of Jesus is more than just making money and enjoying the pleasures of this life. This is contextual. Moreover Dr. Damina isn't against giving to propagate the gospel. Also even unbelievers give glory to God when they become wealthy. Apostle Orokpo is just being dramatic and telling his normal stories. Thank you and Glory to God.
@@kwameokanta9356 you very wrong.abel fail to look into scripture where God bless men physically with wealth.the woman who gave her food to Elijah during famine and Elijah pray for her and she was rich.please what will you call that?is that not God blessings with riches?
You people are fund of twisting things what is the story Apostle Oropko is telling now after giving clear explanation from the scriptures Abel Damina quoted wrongly.Honestly I know what is trying to attack but he is using wrong language and can he God does not make people rich haba, for the fact some people are preaching transactional messages does not change the truth about God.
God rules in the affairs of men!!! Trust in the Lord, lean not on your own understanding & in ALL your ENDEVOURS, acknowledge God & He will direct your path... Proverbs. 3: 5 & 6 After gathering everything, thinking he was successful by his might & decided to merry without acknowledging God factor in his business, then: God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?’ Luke 12:19-20... (Edited) Let me add this: Abel Damina should just calm down, study & Reminisce more on 2Corinthians chapter 9 from verse 1 through to verse 11 & probably the whole chapter... "GOD WILL MAKE ALL GRACE ABOUND" in this text shows us that there's grace that comes from God that maketh the riches (of seed to sow & bread to eat) & adds no sorrow, just as we have the saving grace that has appeared unto ALL men to teach us God's kind of standard of living.... Titus. 2: 11-12
When you consider the fact that all the resources, the skills, intelligence, and the systems one need to prosper are God's provisions, then we can confidently say that is God who makes us prosper. And I think in that line both Abel and Micheal are saying the same thing On the other hand, what Abel differs from the others is that, you cannot say God will prosper you simply because you are christian without utilizing the provisions God has made for one to prosper. What means is that an unbeliever may utilise the systems God has provided and be rich whiles the believer who did not utilise such system may be poor even though he/she has salvation. Again it means, salvation is not synanimous to material prosperity. If prosperity is automatic as far as believing in Christ is concerned then all believers should be rich matter what we do. Which is not the case. The other angle of the argument is that we cannot say you "don't need God to be rich". This is because it God's provisions we utilise to prosper. On the other hand , we can interpretate that notion to also mean God has already made the provision so you don't need him to "fish for you" but you have to get it yourself, whether you are a believer or not. In conclusion, I think all the pastors are making some sense based on the angle you look at it. What we should avoid, however, is that we should not fold our hands wait on God for prosperity simply because we have given an offering. Thank you...
Did we not read in the Bible that after job lost everything God caused men to give him gifts to the point where he had multiple times of what he lost? Isn’t it written that after Jesus was born, God directed the path of the magicians to gift Joseph and Mary gold, frankincense and myrrh? Isn’t it written that by the divine wisdom of God, Joseph had the grace to interpret the dream of Pharaoh which caused him to be a man and wealth and relevance over night? Is Dr. Damina talking about this same God?
Nowhere does it say men gave Job gifts. Do not torture scripture even if it is to make a valid point. But the Lord is He that gives us the power to make wealth. Deuteronomy 8:18. In
Matthew 6:32-33 NIV [32] For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. [33] But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, AND ALL THESE THINGS WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU AS WELL. So who will give you these material things as well? God. So, God gives material blessings to His children.
Genesis 24:1 KJV And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the LORD had blessed Abraham in all things. Genesis 24:35 KJV And the LORD hath blessed my master greatly; and he is become great: and he hath given him flocks, and herds, and silver, and gold, and menservants, and maidservants, and camels, and asses. God can blessed and do bless people, even with riches. But my take is,it would be in line of the work of your hand, it maybe your career, profession or business.
My question with regard to “God does not proper Christians because s/he gave to God”…..is what’s that statement has in common with Luke 6:38? Thank you
It's a matter of semantics; both pastors are correct. God is the source of all existence and the creator of everything. The Bible asks, 'Can anything exist without Him?' As the creator, God made the world and everything in it, including the resources, patterns, and principles that enable both believers and unbelievers to prosper. Even if unbelievers refuse to acknowledge God's role in their prosperity, it doesn't change the fact that God created the things they use to achieve success. For instance, a woodcutter can't claim God has no hand in their prosperity when the wood they harvest and sell to make money didn't create itself. Similarly, when a rich unbeliever shows love, kindness, or compassion to a poor unbeliever, it's because God is the source of all things, and God is love, kindness, and compassion. Apostle Orokpo is right in this regard. However, you can't say God is intentional about material prosperity, or else unbelievers wouldn't be richer than believers. The prosperity God is intentional about leads to salvation - riches in glory, which bring no sorrow. This is something unbelievers can never attain. If God's primary plan were to make people rich, there would be no believers in poverty. Therefore, it's not accurate to say people are rich because God made them rich; rather, people are rich because of God. In this sense, Abel Damina is correct.
Good submission Apostle. Great work you are doing. I love the two videos you put together. But I agree with what Jesus said in Luke 6:38 that give and it shall be given onto you. When you sow a seed or give onto God does that make it transactional gospel? Please I disagree with you when you say that please.
It is interesting how Dr Damina can distort the true meaning of scripture sometimes.Look at how he explained "rich" in prov 10:22..Why did he not do the "greek and the root word meaning" of the 'rich' in that scripture this time as he normally does? As believers, God has a hand in our prosperity.
Mmmmmm I disagree. His analysis of the Word and Jesus' earthly ministry is an error. Yes God prospers but I think Abel was talking about the prosperity Gospel. God's prosperity goes beyond material wealth. I believe God indeed prospers. Very much. Solomon is an example
Some people have turned their Christianity into challenge and contest… competing with their own brothers in the Lord. Instead of joining hands to fight together
Even the farmer knows that a good harvest is the act of God. The only point we are all missing is that the gospel of Christ is not about meat and wine ,it's not about being rich. In fact, the gospel of christ is against being "rich". There's a balance that needs to be struck.
@samk6417 The only thing Jesus said about being rich is that it's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God. Whenever a rich person came to ask Jesus what they needed to do to have eternal life, Jesus told them to go get rid of their wealth and come and follow him. Read what James says about the rich, I can go on and on. If you read the new testament with an open and objective mind there's only one conclusion and that is that being "rich" is not part of gospel of Christ.
Orokpo even if the 2 gaius are not the same person, who of them became rich from john or paul.. Jesus is not in the business of making his people rich cos Jesus said that it is harder for rich men to make heaven
Apostle Orokpo only help to better substantiate what Abel said. And too too much emphasis, shows he was like trying to disprove Abel on the same facts. I thank him with the enlightenment made. All is for the salvation of christ Jesus.
Listening to Damina, I wondered how he was making those connections between verses to support his idea. When the verse says "the love of money is the root of all evil" and yet he wanted to make it about money itself, I was really confused. How can you draw such a conclusion from reading such a verse?
In all these, there are some questions i ask. 1. IS ANYTHING IN THIS WORLD A SURPRISE TO GOD? 2. Do angels have free will like men that the devil could choose to rebel? 3. Is God reacting to my everyday life or He already knew each day of my life before i was made? If i do bad, is it a deviation from His foreknowledge of my life at the point of the bad, and should i have chosen to do good at that point, would it have diviated from God's will for me at that point? 4. Where did the devil learn rebellion from? 5. Is God so powerless He allowed His creation Lucifer to have such upper hand in the heavens and the earth? 6. Was God expecting that Adam and Eve wouldn't eat from the tree? How then does a scripture like Ephesians 1:4-9 make sense if it be that the fall in the garden of Eden wasn't in the will of God? 7. IS ANYTHING IN THE UNIVERSE A SURPRISE TO GOD? 8. Is God Really OMNISCIENT? I think Answering some of these questions may seem very tough a journey to take but it will help us in a lot of our discorse.
Apostle Michael presentation is an explanation of what Dr Damina preach. Note this damina said God has place things on the earth for every man, and he said God has given you brain. This are part of God divine mercy to the human race. It's not just saying God did this for me actually make you appreciate God, or that makes God have pleasure in you. BUt the fact that you are able to use your brain with the things God placed on earth to live well which is corespondents to God providence. If you say what damina says is not the same as orkpo then you not understand the divine mercy of God and His providence. There is a difference between Grace and God divine mercy . The grace of God is Jesus, that is for all men to be saved, and God divine mercy is Adam that is for all man to once have an existence on earth, adam being the first. So on prosperity, any man can prosper according to the divine mercy of God not by grace.
i think you are confuse with the greatest of respect.Whst Abel Damina said isthe same thing you are saying. He sais you dont need to born again to make money period.
1st Timothy 1:10. Steer clear of foolish Debates, controversies over meaningless trivialities and of course any teaching contrary to sound doctrine. They divide, divert and destroy.........
Deuteronomy 8.18 - He gives us the power to get wealth. We take that power into the market place to create wealth. There's evidence in Luke during the temptation of Jesus that satan is also able to prosper people who are submitted to him. And then satan also resists the financial pripaerity of the pople of God as seen in Job's story. God gives power to create wealth. Problem is many people have received the power but are not applying themselves in the market place. They stay in jibs with limited salaries and still expect to be rich. To really prosper financially we have to operate in platforms that can scale. You vannot expect to be a billionaire working in a job.
1. Unelievers are not to die but they are to be recinciled and that ministry is given to the believer. The wages of sin is death is not about physical death but spiritual death. The earth and wverything therein is for man and not just for believers. The sun and rain, etc were created for man so it doesn’t take grace for unbeleivwrs to enjoy. It doesn’t depend on whethwr u have received Jesus or not to enjoy what God created for man. I think the foundation of Ps. Gideon's point is faulty. Every man deserves the things on this earth whether beliwver or unbeliever. It doesnt take grace to get. They were given by God to man at creation and that's it. If u are born with intelligence and that's God's grace then why did God give grace of dumbness to prople. If u are born strong it doesn’t mean God has given u gracce. Others are born weak and even paralysed and we don't attribute that to God's grace. Some are footballers, others athletes, others boxers, some are artists, etc It doesn’t take grace. Crativity is not grace. Peope are creative liars, deceptive, etc. If we want to attribute everything to God then God becomes both the author of good and evil. 1Cor4:7 doesn’t say it's by God's grace they have what they have. You are reading too much into it Ps. People arr killing for miney, sinning for money and we dont atttribute that to God in tr name of Common Grace. It's like a friend passed exams and people were like wow thank God for his grace. The guy shouted, "I had apor!"😂 Religion is given God praises he doesnt even deserve, it's like we. Want God to feel good and happy. Ps. Gideon's argument can be summarised this way. God allow people to be rich, he doesn't stop or take away from them therefore God is the one making them rich and prosperous. It's like saying God doesn’t stop the tthief hrwrefore God is the one helping him to steal!😢 common stealing grace. Everything working to he erternal purpose of God doesnt mean hes the one doing everything. You can give even if you've not received from God. Rom12:6 talks about giving not receiving from God. People kill for money and give to others. When youre in a finacial needs u look to men. Men are those who give u money. It doesnt matter whether they are believwrs or unbelievers. Even the most wicked person can give. Men give to u in ministry. I agree with u, Prov. 10:22 is about material wealth. I think Dr. Damina got it wrong there. Yes, people takes advantage of the provisions of God in nature to prosper either through good means or wrong means. God is not active in this. Intelligence, strength, smart, ete are all part of the creation of God and men take advanatage of these to make their own ways, God is not active.
In your submission, you said God has given grace to some people to prosper and advance the gospel. With this submission, doesn't it make God look biased in deciding who is rich and who is not? What about the very same people who pray that God prospers them so they can help in advancing the gospel, yet they don't see that materializing in their lives?
Another question to you is Are you saying God is bias for saving someone and leaving the other?. On the second question. Do you know the heart of those asking? God looks on the heart. The mere fact that they're asking doesn't mean they're asking.
Intro: 00:00-3:58

Apostle Orokpo's take: 11:30-43:40

This rsponse by Apostle Michael Orokpo is the best spirit-filled filled, mature and balanced response I have seen and watched on the "God does not bless" confusion by Dr Abel Damina. Apostle Michael Orokpo proved that wisdom is not a product of age, academic qualifications or academic intelligence. He proved that wisdom is truly a product of light that comes from God. Lol
Dr. Damina never said God does not bless!
He amazed me. He was excellent and on point
Orokpo just finished talking rubbish
Ride on damina....
Jesus said that it is hard to make heaven and it is harder for a rich man to make heaven...
Apostle Michael Orokpo is a blessed man of God...he knows what he's talking about..God bless him and favor him🎉🎉🎉
Apostle Michael Orokpo is preaching good. May i never come to the point in life where i can say God has no hand in my financial success
Damina is preaching a secular message. I believe in Jesus and he prosperity ones in all aspects because they are all packaged of salvation
They are not package of salvation. Salvation is not a package of many portions or items. Salvation is receiving the life of Jesus in you by faith.
Wow... Apostle Michael Orokpo is a good teacher. Humble yet powerful submission
It takes a great deal of humility to acknowledge truth as its supposed to mean and to have a balanced and holistic view as God has shown in the Scriptures.
God bless Pastor Boateng and Apostle Michael.
if the blessings of God maketh rich the question is why is that not all beleivers are rich pastor Gideon ?

Just finished the video...
Don't be put off by the length of the video. I think it was needful for Ps Gideon to do so and I think he gave a good response.

God bless you Apostle Gideon 🙏🙏🙏🌄🌄🌄
After going through every bit of this video, all I can say is that I have learnt alot. Glory to Jesus forever ❤
Just abide in HIM. HE knows what's best for you.

Great teaching by Apostle Michael, and thank you Pastor Gideon for this great breakdown of the word.... It's indeed a blessing
GOD thanks for DR ABLE DAMINA in Jesus name, I pray, Be bless by GOD.
We need life, good health and wisdom to even get out there to acquire the skill, money in the market place and even buy the app"..

And these, only God can give.🙏🏽
Thank you Sir for the work you doing.
Great wisdom sir? God bless you!

You are indeed doing a lot of good to the body of Christ
Pastor are right like u so much Gideon

God has blessed us and you can be prosperous when you engage in commerce and education. If God heals then God prospers.
Abel Damina is a force in our time God bless him we need to enjoy the best of two worlds
God cannot prosper you Abi?
@Pastor Gideon your emphasis on common grace is enough to end all arguments. Apart from wealth, the Bible makes us to understand that Naaman the leper was a warlord because God gave him victory. Awesome conclusion pastor Gideon. God bless you.
he becoming poor and we becoming rich is not physical wealth or money. Then by now every beleiver is rich.

Prosperity is a full package of which money is included
But may GOD bless u for ur submission. U are doing well
You people that are here shouting and clapping to orokpo...he says that God will prosper you financially if you have faith in God ...where do he got that one from the Bible?
No where . The gospel is only about salvation trough Jésus Christ Alone🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
God bless you Apostle
If Jesus make people rich, who became rich among the disciples or apostles?
Jesus directed Peter on where to put his net and catch plenty fish. If you monetize the fish Peter caught, would he not be a billionaire?
Peter was already a professional fisherman, but was toiling that night till Jesus met him.
Apostle Orokpo too is right to the scripture
Thank you, Apostle Gideon 🎉
Dr Damina is a sound teacher of the Gospel ❤❤❤
Apostle Michael is learning very fast but the father's around him is the problem and let Dr able damina continue to teaching him
I think the stance of Oropko is scripture sound... even as I agree with damina on the prosperity message
Nice video be the way! God bless you Sir 😊
Great exegesis!!
I'm liking this
The explanation and application of "the Blessing of the Lord maketh rich" by Ap Abel is complete off the rail to mean the riches of His grace when that art of scripture is pre-grace period.
God bless you Minister Gideon…
Proverbs 10:22 - Blessing of the Lord maketh RICH (Ashar in this passage refers to wealth not Grace or Mercy)
2 Corinthians 8:9 - Lord..though he was rich.. became poor that ye.. might be RICH (PLOUTEO in Greek meaning rich in resources and abundance of outward possession).
God takes notice of any sacrifice from a good heart and reward abundantly. Examples are Widow of Zeraphat, Solomon, etc.
@Pastor Gideon, can you give scriptures that supports the fact that there are various graces of God? 49:33
2 Corinthians 9:8
New King James Version
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
Yes he does !
God is not in the business of accumulated wealth..only our daily bread ( our necessities)
How do I use my daily bread to push the gospel and the Kingdom forward ?
Needs are not the same as what we in Africa call prosperity sir. Just live this alone
Which significantly wealthy unbeliever did you see give glory to God for their financial prosperity? They usually attribute it to their hard work.
@@kwameokanta9356 you very wrong.abel fail to look into scripture where God bless men physically with wealth.the woman who gave her food to Elijah during famine and Elijah pray for her and she was rich.please what will you call that?is that not God blessings with riches?
You go explain taya
You people are fund of twisting things what is the story Apostle Oropko is telling now after giving clear explanation from the scriptures Abel Damina quoted wrongly.Honestly I know what is trying to attack but he is using wrong language and can he God does not make people rich haba, for the fact some people are preaching transactional messages does not change the truth about God.
Abel Damina message is not balanced he just out to confused immature Christian
Pastor Arokpo teaches good, balanced
But if he did not call money what is the argument? Dr have been clear the prosperity gospel he talks against is money.
The riches of his grace is not money or prosperity
Pastor please come again…look at it from a pure scriptural position 🙏🙏
God rules in the affairs of men!!!
Trust in the Lord, lean not on your own understanding & in ALL your ENDEVOURS, acknowledge God & He will direct your path... Proverbs. 3: 5 & 6
After gathering everything, thinking he was successful by his might & decided to merry without acknowledging God factor in his business, then:
God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?’
Luke 12:19-20...
(Edited)
Let me add this:
Abel Damina should just calm down, study & Reminisce more on 2Corinthians chapter 9 from verse 1 through to verse 11 & probably the whole chapter...
And I think in that line both Abel and Micheal are saying the same thing
On the other hand, what Abel differs from the others is that, you cannot say God will prosper you simply because you are christian without utilizing the provisions God has made for one to prosper.
Apostle Mike is very deep
In
Thank you, sir. Always balance. Can Luke 6.38 be read as transactional, even looking at the context?
Matthew 6:32-33 NIV
[32] For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. [33] But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, AND ALL THESE THINGS WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU AS WELL.
So who will give you these material things as well?
God.
So, God gives material blessings to His children.
Genesis 24:1 KJV
And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the LORD had blessed Abraham in all things.
Genesis 24:35 KJV
And the LORD hath blessed my master greatly; and he is become great: and he hath given him flocks, and herds, and silver, and gold, and menservants, and maidservants, and camels, and asses.
God can blessed and do bless people, even with riches. But my take is,it would be in line of the work of your hand, it maybe your career, profession or business.
Let's ALL read 1st Timothy 1 vrs 10.
This is awesome
Mmmmmm I disagree. His analysis of the Word and Jesus' earthly ministry is an error. Yes God prospers but I think Abel was talking about the prosperity Gospel. God's prosperity goes beyond material wealth. I believe God indeed prospers. Very much. Solomon is an example
Damina is breaking the conventional mindset , and the generals don’t like it 😂😂😂😂
The generals don't like it because he is misleading a lot of believers who are not mature enough, thereby exposing them to the enemy.
His heresies are poisonous
I tell u my brother😂😂😂
Some people have turned their Christianity into challenge and contest… competing with their own brothers in the Lord. Instead of joining hands to fight together
Demina is heretic Preacher
Even the farmer knows that a good harvest is the act of God. The only point we are all missing is that the gospel of Christ is not about meat and wine ,it's not about being rich. In fact, the gospel of christ is against being "rich". There's a balance that needs to be struck.
No!! The gospel of Christ is not against being rich.
That’s a big lie
Listen to learn
The Bible doesn't say it's two different people, why should we assume?
Apostle Orokpo only help to better substantiate what Abel said. And too too much emphasis, shows he was like trying to disprove Abel on the same facts. I thank him with the enlightenment made. All is for the salvation of christ Jesus.
Listening to Damina, I wondered how he was making those connections between verses to support his idea. When the verse says "the love of money is the root of all evil" and yet he wanted to make it about money itself, I was really confused. How can you draw such a conclusion from reading such a verse?
Who don’t love money
He can easily twist scriptures to suit His heresies
If God is in the business of prosperity..why pegans are making it more than Christians? ..
Try and listen to it again . Pastor Gideon made it clear there are other graces that everyone is enjoying aside the grace of salvation .
The guy shouted, "I had apor!"😂
Religion is given God praises he doesnt even deserve, it's like we.
Another question to you is
Are you saying God is bias for saving someone and leaving the other?.
On the second question.
Do you know the heart of those asking? God looks on the heart. The mere fact that they're asking doesn't mean they're asking.
