From Keynote? Yes. Exporting as PowerPoint from Keynote doesn't require that you have PowerPoint. It doesn't even know whether or not you do. The only downside is there is no way to check the PowerPoint document to see how it looks in PowerPoint.

Hi, I have different slides with videos in it which make the project huge in memory. Is there a way to delete all these videos in one click, without going on every single slide to delete one by one?
Keynote is a Mac (and iPhone and iPad) app. There is no Keynote for Windows. They can work with Keynote documents using the web app at iCloud.com, or you can export your Keynote document to a PowerPoint document if you use that app. But if you just want to show them them finished presentation, you have a lot of export and sharing options in Keynote that do that without them needing any app at all.
I am trying to create a memorial for my husband. I keep getting text in the background of where I drag the photo. I selected ALL and deleted the test in the background but it would not take. Wha can I go?
I have three dots on a slide and don't know what I did to get them. I don't see a build anywhere. Also, I have evidently locked the slide because I can't make any changes...I try to select text and I make see the blue box around it but I get the "grabby" hand but nothing is happening. @@deecross5028 So you mean the entire theme? Not just the template for the slide, but use an entire different theme? You could do that with copy and paste. Start a new document with the theme you want, create the slide there, then copy and paste those elements across to the old document.
@@macmost Thanks for the suggestions, but that's still not what I'm trying to do. Hi sir, Happy New Year🎉. Have you checked ‘Office Add ins’ functions in Microsoft PowerPoint? What’s the alternative for it in Keynote? Kind regards, Anindya.
I don't use PowerPoint. Can't tell you what an alternative would be -- maybe describe what you want to DO in Keynote and I can point you in the right direction.
@@macmost There're tons of options available there. In UA-cam I found three interesting options: using Comic characters, setting a timer and using word clouds.
@@anindyabhattacharya4742 If you want to use "Comic characters" just change the font of the text you want to show like that. There is a clock option on the presentation screen. But I suppose you could use the new Clock app for a Timer if you needed that too. Nothing like Word Clouds, but you could use another app to create them and then bring in an image.
*Dear Gary Rosenzweig,* In PowerPoint, macro/s can be created, which records a series of actions including some text, click on a button, and so on, so as to save a lot of repetitive actions. Macro works as a kind of customerized Automator. Could you make an video on how to use Keynote macro? It is really helpful and time-saving to to such jobs as you mentioned in your previous videos like “Transparent Video Overlays With Keynote (MacMost Now 688), 26 Mar 2012, because transparent video overlays are used as frequently as anything. If possible you are heartedly welcome to share your ready-recorded Keynote macros with your UA-cam viewers. I am sure this may lead to more subscribers, likes, shares, viewers of your channel. Thanks in advance.
If you like PowerPoint, you can certainly stick with it. Works best when you have to collaborate with people on Windows. But Keynote is fun to use too. Maybe play around with it when you have the time.
