As far as judges, their duty is to objectivity view the law and the accused. I personally know of crime and criminality because I had lived among it, up close but that does not qualify me to be a Court Judge. I believe objectivity and impartiality should be the most important aspect, in any endeavor but most are uncomfortable with unknowns....it does require listening foremost. I do understand your point that having more varied knowledge should only help enlighten but in this case the objective was not meant to be all encompassing. While the majority of religious believers are good and sincere in their beliefs, the powerful, wealthy religious institutions are firmly embedded with the ruling elites in every religious country. Humanity will be much better served when the majority rejects divisive religious myths based on the Bible i.e. a fictional 6,000 year-old Earth where Neanderthals never existed. In the real world, most people have some Neanderthal DNA because our human ancestors mated with Neanderthals and Africans whose ancestors have never left Africa have no Neanderthal DNA. But religion still thrives because of its very real attributes for its many powerful, wealthy vested interests i.e. mega cash-cow and powerful tool of political control. All because, no evidence is required to support religious claims. Tragic for truth, facts, justice, peace etc. Tragic for humanity.

I read or saw a story about the Crown Heights riots. In the 60's and you would know this better than I maybe, but Jews could identify with the ugly racial prejudices that blacks had to deal with. Sometimes people forget the incident in Mississippi, where Chaney(a black civil rights worker), Goodman, and Schwerner (2 Jews) who went with him had drove to Mississippi from NY to protest or aide in voting for black Americans. Most remember the movie Mississippi Burning and the vicious beating and subsequent murder of all three men by the KKK (cowards) Sheriff's. I remember a story from a Jew that was staying in his house the nights of the riots until he noticed a silhouette of a black man sitting staunchly on the middle of his steps. He then realized in was his next door neighbor standing guard so nothing would happen to that house. I'm Colombian, but outside of birth, I grew up in America my whole life. I wish the Jews and the black folks could rekindle that bond they once had.

I know this is from two years ago but I just found your channel. I’m not a religious person and I’ve recently been trying to find my way with what I believe so I really appreciate your channel. I love learning about all these different cultures and religions. This woman is amazing! I love her energy and personality. She seems like a genuinely kind and fun person!

I’m enjoying watching all about this community. The Hasidic Jewish people have given me a fresh perspective on this. They are so polite and respectful. I was once helped by two Hasidic Jewish young men in JFK airport I was struggling with my bags and I had my step children with me. I was pregnant with my daughter . This is going back many years now . These young men carried my bags for me. I was grateful to them. The lady mentioned about Muslims I have had the privilege to meet a wonderful Muslim family. They were renting my brothers cottage in the UK they came from Dubai to England to study, they were going back to Dubai. They are just the loveliest people. All there children where so polite and respectful to there parents. I think we need to be excepting of people and getting to know other cultures this will enrich our lives. I’m really looking forward to your next film.

i happen to indirectly know a 69-year-old man who is dying from cancer of the jaw. he is dying because the doctors can't seem to figure out how to operate on him. it sounds like your condition was similar, and yet you recovered from it. maybe our meeting each other on here is no accident. maybe you can communicate with the sister of that man, who could then relay your message to his doctor

I've only just discovered this channel and I have to say it has become one of my absolute favourites! Your episodes on the Hasidic Jews have left me feeling so elated after each episode. I am so happy for the happiness these people have in their lives and can see that you feel it too 😊 I am non religious and never had much interest in any of it but I have the utmost respect for the Jewish community. The more I learn the more I love. ❤️
