Beverly Hills Cop 3 Review - Is It Really THAT Bad!?

- Beverly Hills Cop Axel F is now on Netflix, so Pop Tot and I decide to sit down and discuss the highly controversial, much hated Beverly Hills Cop 3. The film features Eddie Murphy returning as Axel Foley once more in a really lame plot following counterfeit money, a theme park and a really stupid gun. Come find out what the MovieTots think about one of the worst films ever made (that's what they say, anyway).
Synopsis - Axel Foley, while investigating a car theft ring, comes across something much bigger than that: the same men who killed his boss are running a counterfeit money ring out of a theme park in Los Angeles.
Directed by John Landis -
Starring - Eddie Murphy, Judge Reinhold, Timothy Carhart
The review was created using footage of the movie for a critical purpose. This is a film review and therefore is FAIR USE!

Hey Tots! Sorry about the awkward, early on plug for subscribing! Trying to build the channel up (monetization really helps and opens up a lot of doors!). Regardless, this review came out a bit late due to some dentistry crap and health stuff on my end. Regardless, it came out pretty well and I'm happy with it! I hope you all enjoy it! Be sure to leave your recommendations, keep your ears/eyes open for reviews coming soon! With love, some cheese and bacon - Mr. Tot
Glad to know I'm not missing anything with this one
Thank you Tots for your sacrifice! Weeding thru the bottom of the barrel for those nuggets of movie goodness 😊
Fun fact, Bronson Pinchot is a brilliant voice actor.
This! I completely forgot about his voice until I heard him in editing this and was like...whoa, I forgot he can do some crazy things with his voice.
I did not hate Beverly Hills Cop 3
I think it is VERY hard to hate this movie. Eddie Murphy, even bad or disinterested is still amazing.
@@MovieTots yes you are absolutely right
That final clip has some meme potential at least 😂
It's was a definite guilty pleasure for me. It lost the grittiness of the first two, but somehow the charisma of the cast still made me laugh. The wacky comedic tone definitely turned off a lot of people.
Never saw 3. Saw original nearly 10x. 2nd one at least 3. Not 4 (yet). Can't see how this synopsis will make me change my opinion, but let's watch....
I would much rather watch an entire season of Mr Reinhold's courtroom from arrested development. 😅
Holy crap. I totally forgot about that!
George Lucas should inexplicably cameo in more movies.
I'd love nothing more than for Daniel Day Lewis to return with some insanely impressive role only to have George Lucas stumble in with his plaid shirt just confused as hell.
Maybe it's me...but...I actually like the 3rd one....sure, it has a lot of problems and wasn't as good as the first two, but imo, it has some moments, and I was entertained
I think that's the Eddie Murphy clause. I think he can turn anything remotely entertaining. Despite us being hard on it, I think the ratings and critics were EXTREMELY hard on it. I'd say it is more around the 40% RT rating (MetaCritic rating to be exact) than where it did land.
you had me at Neil Breen. Subscribed!
He is the GOAT after all. I'm not sure we will watch a Neil Breen film on here. I'm not sure Pop Tot has the sophistication to take a Neil Breen film. But never say never. His films definitely fit our criteria.
I didn't even know there was a bhc3 till very recently lol😅
I thought the same about Bad Boys 3
A lot of these are just regular action movie tropes - the bad guys not being able to hit sh1t / the chief villain talking instead of shooting. If these make for a bad movie then Die Hard must be terrible too. There’s not really anything at stake in the previous two BHCs. Paul Reiser is barely in the first two either. BHC3 just isn’t a “bad” movie. I’ve seen BAD movies and it just isn’t one of them. Couldn’t care less what critics say.
This is entirely fair. What the critics say as well as the box office performance is what puts them on the Lost and Found list. Ultimately, we just try to decide if they are worth seeking out. Our reviews/thoughts are just our perspective and we are entirely okay with people not agreeing with those. In fact, that's what makes it fun.
It’s not about the movie the audience have changed Movie is good movies used to be a good time pass out now it’s something else.
