Contains some language and violence. This is a fan film I made inspired by the Eli Roth flick, Thanksgiving, which was based on the fake trailer made for the Rodriguez / Tarantino collab film: Grindhouse. It's also my second project using Backstage. Although I enjoyed seeing the film in theaters, I feel it didn't really recapture the vibe of the fake trailer back in 2007, so I made this as a way to pay homage to both while at the same time, giving my concept of what would a sequel entail. Of course it came by surprise that days after putting up the Backstage page for this, Roth announced doing a sequel to the film -- which would be a two year wait -- but just thought I'd beat him to a punch for now with my idea. Enjoy!

Yes, I’m aware. I beat Roth to a punch by posting my concept to Backstage before he announced it days later, even though he’s bound to do something different. Although in which case, this is my loose interpretation of a sequel just based on the residuals of that fake trailer (including the car decapitation scenes that didn’t make the final film) and the vibe of it. Looking forward to it nonetheless, since I’ve watched the trailer so many times.

The retro film effect is disturbing, maybe leave that out next time. There should have been a disclaimer at the beginning of the film for people with epilepsy.
