This video is the best I’ve seen so far in explaining BNF’s trading strategy, though it still has some inaccuracies. Most videos about him miss key aspects. BNF didn’t rely on charts-he used ranking tables instead. He didn’t look at RSI(an oscillator) at all; instead, he focused on the Relative Strength (RS) rating. it also called RSI. it was calculated as 40% * P3 + 20% * P6 + 20% * P9 + 20% * P12, which helped gauge the strength of a trend as rank. I believe much of his success came from synchronizing with a large algorithm run by Japan’s biggest market player at the time before AI became as advanced as it is today. Nowadays, those gaps close faster, rebounds happen sooner, and sector rotation is less obvious than it used to be.
The problem we have is because Most people always taught that " you only need a good job to become rich " . These billionaires are operating on a whole other playbook that many don't even know exists.

I think he later lost all that money and started over and traded his way up though. He lost all his money twice if I remember correctly. Or a good chunk of it the 2nd time, when he tried to trade the US market.

Later the markets became bullish and he had to change his strat, lost a bunch of money. Also he tried US trading and lost millions as well. He may have become successful later with a different strat. but probably doesn't share it.

Not exactly. It's actually a lot of work figuring out their strategies. What I usually do is just listen to 40 interviews with them in it. Suprisingly, these big traders share a lot of information on how their strategy works. They usually put bits and pieces of of how their strategy works in each interview. The hard part is just spending the time to listen to all of them!
Even if they do pretty sure they learn with experience. Most people will fail i just stick to investing. Maybe one day i learn some way to trade. Until then from time to time watching entrainment trading videos.
Interesting strategy, but - Right off the bat, I can tell you FED rates and stock fundamentals (book/financials) play a major role here. For example, pharma, biotech and micro/smallcaps trade completely differently depending on current borrow rates. A year ago after fed hikes, I can confidently say that the majority of stocks that met this scan criteria would be more suited as short candidates and it's fairly easy to confirm this. I've made decent gains this year shorting high debt microcaps. This strategy worked 20 years ago during a FED easing period, things are far more complex now, though we are at a point where many think the FED may ease soon, I suggest back-testing during different fed policy era's before leaping in.

I've been following trading for 30 plus years. but haven't did a lot of trading. but i've always been under the opinion trading (GOING LONG) bottom bouncers (if done effectively) would be the quickest way to get rich. but most every successfully trader will tell you to always go long with stocks that have been in an uptrend (usually after a pullback or consolidation). and I've only come across one successful trader that did well trading bottom bouncers. but then again, I haven't come across hardly any traders that have traded the bottom bouncer strategy.

This video is the best I’ve seen so far in explaining BNF’s trading strategy, though it still has some inaccuracies. Most videos about him miss key aspects. BNF didn’t rely on charts-he used ranking tables instead. He didn’t look at RSI(an oscillator) at all; instead, he focused on the Relative Strength (RS) rating. it also called RSI. it was calculated as 40% * P3 + 20% * P6 + 20% * P9 + 20% * P12, which helped gauge the strength of a trend as rank.
I believe much of his success came from synchronizing with a large algorithm run by Japan’s biggest market player at the time before AI became as advanced as it is today. Nowadays, those gaps close faster, rebounds happen sooner, and sector rotation is less obvious than it used to be.
Great oversight ! He exploited inefficiencies that may no longer be viable.

He didn't have a strategy, he just looked at the stocks that were very low down in percentage, then he got lucky and noticed that a company was accidentally selling 610,000 shares for $1 instead of the intended 1 share for $610,000. He bought around 7,000 shares and got rich when it was corrected.
I think he later lost all that money and started over and traded his way up though. He lost all his money twice if I remember correctly. Or a good chunk of it the 2nd time, when he tried to trade the US market.

Later the markets became bullish and he had to change his strat, lost a bunch of money. Also he tried US trading and lost millions as well. He may have become successful later with a different strat. but probably doesn't share it.

Not exactly.
It's actually a lot of work figuring out their strategies. What I usually do is just listen to 40 interviews with them in it. Suprisingly, these big traders share a lot of information on how their strategy works. They usually put bits and pieces of of how their strategy works in each interview. The hard part is just spending the time to listen to all of them!

Interesting strategy, but - Right off the bat, I can tell you FED rates and stock fundamentals (book/financials) play a major role here. For example, pharma, biotech and micro/smallcaps trade completely differently depending on current borrow rates.
A year ago after fed hikes, I can confidently say that the majority of stocks that met this scan criteria would be more suited as short candidates and it's fairly easy to confirm this. I've made decent gains this year shorting high debt microcaps.
This strategy worked 20 years ago during a FED easing period, things are far more complex now, though we are at a point where many think the FED may ease soon, I suggest back-testing during different fed policy era's before leaping in.

I would advise to start off safer, start with selling covered calls and credit spreads, take profits and use them to trade with. You can be the casino instead of the gambler if you know where to look. Do the research first not after....

Almost always the good well managed companies will come back strong at some point. The other is to buy when the markets are tanking and in downturns in the economy. View that as a time when you are getting stocks on sale

There are actually no particular sectors i focus on. I was just fortunate enough to have the guidance of a successful and highly knowledgeable wealth advisor HEATHER LEE LARIONI . That was a smart move since my portfolio has grown at a tremendous pace.. my account just mirrors what she trades and not just on some particular industries of my choosing

I've been following trading for 30 plus years. but haven't did a lot of trading. but i've always been under the opinion trading (GOING LONG) bottom bouncers (if done effectively) would be the quickest way to get rich. but most every successfully trader will tell you to always go long with stocks that have been in an uptrend (usually after a pullback or consolidation). and I've only come across one successful trader that did well trading bottom bouncers. but then again, I haven't come across hardly any traders that have traded the bottom bouncer strategy.
