I just did my first century in Sept. I trained for 4 months. Started at 20 miles and gradually increased rides till we got up to 79 miles. I also trained with a team. We practiced riding in a pace line. We also had mobile support. That way we had a way to fill up bottles and food to eat at rest stops. Just like you, it was mile 70+ that I started to feel it. I was able to finish and i'm proud of it. Congrats to you as well.
28 years of mtb racing here, during my long rides and races I would never eat solid foods. I use hammer nutrition perpetuem and heed in bottles or camel back, and a few hammer jell packs. It is a great company with top notch products.
I've gone from a 27 to an 80 mile ride in 3 months, and I'm planning to do a century soon so I'm finding inspiration from videos like yours, great video, good quality and helpful advice. Thanks man
Get a seat post bottle holder then you can carry 4. I carry 4 24oz bottles for my long rides and stop for refills. Also carry electrolyte powder packs like propel to replace what you are losing

I always start to cramp up at 60+ miles so afraid to hit 100 miles
There are 36 oz water bottles available that I got from my local bike shop which really help with the water issue. Thank you for the video.
Absolutely astounding and super great :) I loved it :)
Awesome Video Noah!
