Watching this I assumed based on production value alone the view count was 370K not 370. You're putting out quality content that rivals the big guys!
Mate that’s so nice of you to say! We’ll get there some day! Thank you 🙏🏼
The red/white combo looked good.
what the hecc, the production quality of the video is great as is the content. Subbed
Absolute legend! Thank you!! Welcome to the club!
I love the color combo! It’s too bad the red isn’t also matte but I think the sort of pokeball look is worth keeping it personally. Lots of character on something you worked hard on
Couldn’t agree more! I thought that too about the matte/shinny look but I think I’m growing used to it now! 😅
yeah dude. you're gonna have the 2k subs at the end of the year.
Such a great video! I'm excited for more :)
and these DS display-cables are HORRIBLE to work with!
i feel your pain!
Mate, huge compliment! Thank you so much! We wanna just keep growing and putting out more! Thank you for the support 🙏🏼
And you’re not wrong! This was a very fiddly repair to do!
you have so little subscribers! you deserve more, i had a DSi growing up and was super good
Thank you so much mate! Appreciate the support! I was very jealous of the people with DSi’s growing up! You were very lucky!
Toothbrush is the key, with plenty of iso. I like to put a dry wet wipe(unscented) over the board saturate with iso then toothbrush scrub.
This is a great shout! I’ll give it a try if I come across a board like this again, thank you!
def agree with everyone else that the quality and production value of this video is surprisingly good!! def will stick around to see more of ur stuff 👀
You’re a legend mate! Thank you for the kind words! Definitely tons of great content to come!
i though the cologne bit was going to be a scentbird segment 😭
The fact you thought we had a sponsor is massive 😂🙌🏼
I thought it was the whole farting and saying "Do you smell popcorn?" schtick 😂
good luck on your journey on youtube.
Thank you mate !
Hey mate the three things I use are IPA 100 percent and CLR and Brasso and here is the order I always do it in and have complete success every time doing it
Things you may need:
1). IPA 100 percent
2). CLR
3). Brasso
4). Microfiber cloths
5). Cotton tips or whatever they are called
(exact same steps/order for both rust and corrosion)
1). IPA 100 percent (when done scrubbing don't wait for it to dry dry it yourself)
2). CLR (I like to scrub it on there instead of just sitting it on there and when I feel like it's had enough scrubbing (you can always apply more if you feel like it needs it as I do that as well just don't go crazy that's wasteful) leave it on there for about 5 minutes or more then repeat steps 1 to 2 ending with step 1 before proceeding to step 3 (when as much rust/corrosion as possible is removed that means you can continue so step 3)
3). Brasso (scrub) (then repeat steps 1 and 3 ending with step 1 until as much as possible is removed)
Tip(s):
1). Use 2 pieces of paper towels on top of each other underneath what you are trying to clean for each chemical (you can reuse for example the IPA 100 percent paper towels each time you go back to that step I always forget and just end up getting 2 more
2). If you get CLR in a spray bottle DO NOT SPRAY WHAT YOU ARE TRYING TO CLEAN instead spray a cotton tip or whatever they are called or a Microfiber cloth
3). When using Microfiber cloths DO NOT use the same one for all chemicals
I hope this helps this took so long to try and remember (as I have short term and long term memory loss) and type I've now got a migraine and I'm so close to just randomly and uncontrollably passing out due to being so tired so good night
Mate this is amazing thank you so much! Solid advice, I’d never heard of Brasso or CLR so I’m gonna look into them! You’re a legend!! Hope you got some sleep/the migraine’s gone down, I get them regularly so I know the pain!
I love the two-toned look. Red and white go great together.
I agree! But I just did a shell swap to matte black with it ! Looks a lot cleaner
@@_2ndliferetro I just watched that video. It does look cleaner, but I'm definitely one who enjoys colorful and uniquely-designed electronics over modest and sleek devices.
Nah I get what you mean, I don’t mind some colour! I wanted to get a yellow gbc analogue pocket but couldn’t justify the cost 😅 thanks for watching btw!
Bought a broken dsi last week. All it needed was some IPA in the cartridge slot. Besides an L-button that doesn’t work when you press it too fast it works
I love the Red and White DSi!!
Thanks mate!!
nice video i love your work this type of content is so trendy so i belive if you focuse on it you go big ❤❤
wow this is such a great video! definite subscribe 👌🏼👌🏼
U r amazing! Thank you 🤩
i have 2 dsi xl's and love the screens on them and there are so easy to mod to add the gba function back in
The dankpods of the DS
Good stuff man, subbed.
Yes mate! Appreciate it
You could just make stuff like that so merchandise that could be a good idea I'm not sure
Solid idea, we’ve been thinking of selling some of the stuff we mod or maybe giving it away, I’m keeping this DSi tho 😅
Nice Video ! Sub & Big Like ! And Love Ds Games !
You’re a legend!! Thank you! Welcome aboard 🙌🏼
Actually you may be able to clean those rusted buttons with... water. No, seriously, as far as its distilled (aka has absolute none minerals in it) you can put it together with the buttons in a special machine that vibrates it, which in turn cleans things. I myself dont know where you could get these, but my mom works in medical and she has somefin like that at work.
And a lil word of advice - be VERY careful with ipa and screens and clicky buttons, since you can permanantely damage the screens (it will look kind of like a spill) and the clicky buttons can get their metallic parts unglued. Love the duo color scheme, def sub :]
Oh I think I’ve seen those on watch repair videos!!! I’ll look into it, if not too expensive I might invest 😅
Great advice! Thank you for the sub!! 🙏🏼
BW100
Good shout! I’m gonna get some for next time! Thank you
