@@zDialecticChaos his genius lies in being self taught and teaching himself how to sound the way he wanted to sound riff and sound wise, he’s not doing anything super technical but it’s all so cohesive and sounds so good that you just have to give him a pass on his lack of almost any formal training or knowledge of theory and stuff like that
I am trying to master the solo most of the times i get it almost right but the part with fast changing positions is very challenging. Thank you my friend. And above all thank you marty.
It's always been my favorite back-to-back solo in all of Megadeth (if not all of metal), as great as Marty is Dave never gets enough credit for his very creative solos on early Megadeth albums
hey man, i am trying to find a backing track solo for 99 ways to die. the ones on youtube sound a bit weak and cleaner than i would like. could i possibly pay you to make a real one for 99 ways to die or if not could you possibly tell me how you created this one. it almost sounds like you used the real stems.
Before this video I was playing 50 wrong notes; but now that I practiced with this, I play only 49 wrong notes. Thank you so much!

Might be an insane take but this is one of Megadeth's best riffs
