Shadowrun is one hell of a game for newcomers.
Im really bummed you guys got so corporate with this.. Delaying the audio podcast for 3 days seems like a greasy producers idea. Not something I'd really associate with the spirit of harmontown. I dont need the video, I listen while working. The past few years I could count on listening most mondays. Now I'm feeling a little manipulated into paying for your podcast so I can enjoy my mondays. Except my phones podcast app wont be able to play it anyways. Its really weird for such a corporate idea to come out of a place that seemed so much the opposite...

I'm sorry if this came off as too corporate, we really didn't mean it that way. The video episodes are posted with no editing whatsoever, so they're extremely easy to just post immediately. The audio podcast is manually edited, a process that takes hours. Previously our producer was staying up all night to edit the podcast to post it in the morning. Now that Feral Audio is handling many more podcasts, that schedule just isn't possible.
With the launch of the videos, we're trying to be more consistent rather than having the audio podcast sometimes post on Monday, sometimes Tuesday, etc. Videos on Monday, audio podcast on Wednesday. It is a thank you to those who are contributing with their subscriptions, but it's also ensuring the audio podcast keeps its high quality. If we started letting the production values of the audio podcast slip, I'd totally agree that we were screwing this up.
Regardless, the audio podcast is staying free and we aren't changing that at all. The only difference is that it's going to be guaranteed to show up at the same time each week.
Harmontown Well that was a kind response, and I guess im bitchy when something I love changes. You guys are awesome and thanks for keeping it up.
