I'd call it based on film and down / distance honestly. If I'm playing a team with a vertical, down field passing attack I'd play this coverage until I had to do something different. If I was playing an offense that likes to get the ball out of their hands quickly I'd press more, try to get some good, hard re-routes and mess with the timing of the throws. The whole objective is not only to try and keep the opposing team guessing but to try to make them beat you "left handed" sort of speak.
