This product speaks to me and seems so much better than so many other Marvel sets. Love the chrome, on card autos and that these will be far easier to grade than any other Marvel set.
The naming convention of the parallels is drawn right from OPC Platinum Hockey. Only new parallels I see are the wave and crackle that haven't been used in a Hockey set......yet!
I preorded 4 boxes, and they only just came in. A little sad they didn't show up day of release. Still, it's a very fun rip, and the nostalgia from some of the art and the smell of the cards is palpable 😊 It kind of feels like a marvel/upperdeck version of Topps Series One, sans paper base cards. Here’s what I found out about returning Upper Deck cards for replacement. 1. They wanted pictures of the serial# from hobby box, front and back of cards and description of what was wrong. In my case they were all (29) OC. 2. After providing them with the pictures, they responded that they were too small. Impossible! They wanted me to provide them with a list of cards (name, card#, type(base, refractor, etc.). I my opinion, they were too lazy to write them down. 3. They then provided me a case# to send my email of the card’s identified along with all the physical cards (29) to NC. In my opinion it would’ve just as easy to provide me a case# with instructions and the address.
Out of the 2 boxes I opened I received a red Thanos auto and an orange Abomination /33. Question: some of the parallels were OC. If I send them to Upper Deck, will they replace them?
